Hey guys. I am new to this board but have been a collector for well over 15 years. I have recently started my own custom page on Instagram (@squaredcirclecustoms ) and am looking to meet other customers to grow with. Here is my first custom "The Legit Boss" Sasha Banks. I have posted this figure to my Instagram page already but thought sharing on here would help connect me to other artists. Let me know what you think and share feedback on how I can better my art. -Scarlet

It looks pretty good though.

Thank you for the input. I have always had an issue with white paint. Maybe it's the brand I have been using but it always come out streaky and even sometimes clumpy when it dries. Do you have any suggestions for brands to try?

Do you have any suggestions for brands to try? I use tamiya, its smooth and it doesn't take long to dry, If you mix acrylic paint with water it usually comes out fairly smooth. It's great for your very first custom though, can't wait to see more!

Yeah each custom will get better with each attempt. As mentioned, dilute the paint with water. I use a dropper for mix. ( 2-3 drops) in a slight amount of paint. Takes more coats, but will look cleaner in the end.
It's all trial and error!

its def REALLY sloppy but you can improve as you go along for sure. try using thin layers of good paint (I use model masters acrylics) and thin brushes for finer details like the line work. that will take you a very long way

just take your time and slow down. Tape off any thing you don't want painted and try wetting your brushes a bit more
