Now before everyone jumps on my ass and says i'm racist etc. Shut up i'm obviously making a point. Ok is it just me or has anyone pictured deja vue of what happened Monday with the Manchester attack to the London bombings. Remember July 2005 Muhammad Hassan was set for a big push but they did that awful terrorist angle before the London Bombings which killed any chance of Mohammad becoming anything else but an after thought. And now 12 years on. Coincidentally Jinder last week was cutting a less edgier promo about American not respecting him. And then he wins the big one only for the Manchester disaster to take place. Now this couldn't of come at a worst time imo. I can either see Jinder losing the title and been pushed down again.. Or his gimmick changing drastically and him being more of a peace less than a war type gimmick. (cough we shouldn't mention he's from Canada Whats everyone think. Could be me thinking into things too much i just found both incidents creepily similar

I know what you mean but Jinder isn't the same as Hassan at all.

Considering the big deal with Hassan was a few guys basically dressed as terrorists in military fatigues with balaclavas attacked the Undertaker on his behalf, with the added misfortune of being on a show taped 3 days prior set to air on the day of the 7/7 bombings... I think Jinder's much different and there's zero chance of any similar events repeating. Hassan had guys in military fatigues and Jinder had dancers in cultural Indian clothing, he'll be fine.

Yeah no similarities at all. Awful bad taste terrorist storyline with an italian american man vs Canadian indian wrestler winning a belt. Move along.

The only real similarities between Hassan and Jinder is the good old tried and trusted Anti-USA heel angle, just like the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff and Sgt. Slaughter and probably countless others before them. It gets good heat and I think they're building up Jinder really well, so I'm just sitting back and enjoying it to be honest (feels good to see them trying something different for once).

Could be me thinking into things too much i just found both incidents creepily similar Are you really that ignorant of other races and cultures that you are grouping Mohammed Hassan and Jinder Mahal together? I don't see the slightest similarity, even the character's issues are different: Hassan was meant to be an Arab-American who had a problem with the way other Americans treated him since 9/11 and Mahal is an Indian who is upset at what he perceives is disrespect from Americans for different reasons, more along the lines of the traditional anti-American heel. Plus, WWE shamelessly cast Hassan as the modern day foreign anti-American to draw major heat and interest from a baying public, whereas Jinder is being (almost) shamelessly used to tap into the large Indian market. You're the only person I've come across that has thought this and I hope you stay the only one, as this sort of thing can open a huge can of worms. It's safe to say you definitely were thinking into things too much! Maybe look up Muslims, Hindus and terrorists and see how much difference you find. I don't think you're racist, just lacking in a bit of cultural knowledge, that's all.

Its like saying should we worry about all white skinned wrestlers because of Russia/Ukraine? Should Nakamura be worried because of North Korea
