Hey guys!
If you haven't been following the hoopla involving Mighty Mouse, Dana White, and his fight with Dillashaw, DJ released a pretty lengthy statement with some not-so-nice things to say about Sean Shelby, and namely, Dana White. (I'd include a link in the post, but if I recall, I'm not allowed to reference other sites with a direct link, correct me if I'm wrong though. Either way, a quick Google search will bring you right to it.)
So what are your guys' thoughts on this whole situation? Personally, I'm glad DJ has spoken out. Mighty Mouse has always in my opinion fit the mold of a champion's champion. The guy seems to be a pretty honest guy, who has a very level head on his shoulders, and I see him kind of being like Frankie Edgar, telling it like it is. With that said, if what he said is true, then shame on Dana White and company for how they have treated the flyweight division, and in particular, DJ, who may be arguably the greatest fighter of our generation.
What kind of ramifications do you guys think could come from this, if any at all? Do you think changes will be made after Mighty Mouse spoke out? Or do you think it will be "business as usual" where Dana White berates DJ to the media for a few weeks, calls him a liar, throws some curse words around, and it eventually all gets swept under the rug?
On a side note, hope everyone is doing well!

Both Dana and DJ have good points. Dana wants a money fight, and buy rate history shows that DJ despite being one of the best fighters today, he's not that big of a draw, which is why he's mostly on the UFC Fox shows when he defends his title recently. I forgot which PPV it was, but it was said it was one of the lowest live gates that the MGM Grand Gardens Arena drew. TJ has some buzz with Cody Garbrandt, but Codys injured, so Dana wants to give TJ a fight. I understand Dana being upset. DJ also has a good point that he wants to respect the rankings and wants to defend the title against who ever is the top ranked Flyweight instead of a top ranking Bantamweight who wants to drop down weight.
As apposed to Dana threaten to get rid of the Flyweight division all together, i don't buy that. Dana White could be a scumbag, but he knows better than to say that. Had DJ said Dana threaten to strip him of the belt if he didn't defend against TJ, that would be totally believable. If he did really say, its just Dana wanting to scare or pressure DJ into accepting a fight, which its messed up, but business is business.
