RAW is WAR October 13th, 1997 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry LawlerVince McMahon makes his way out with Sgt. Slaughter. Vince: You know last week at Badd Blood, I was so close to seeing Austin get what he deserved. However as well all know, Kane interfered in the match. How dare you Kane, dammit, I know you have issues with your brother, but you cost Austin the match. I know how much you want revenge on your brother, but dammit I won't let you have it. Instead I thought about another idea for you Kane, because at the Survivor Series, you will be taking Stone Cold Steve Austin. That's right, I know how to use you and dammit I will! I want you to beat up Austin, I want you to punish him, I want you to make him cry like a little baby. After Kane succeeds only then will I allow him to have another match with the Undertaker. So at the Survivor Series, Kane will be taking on Stone Cold Steve Austin....(DX Music plays and they come out) Shawn: You know Vince, I'm a bit surprised that you chose the Undertaker and Kane to do your bidding against Stone Cold Steve Austin. Have you forgotten about the showstopper? The main event? Let me have a go with Austin.... Slaughter: Look Shawn you should go through the proper channels. You want to ask for a match you go through me... Shawn: Who the heck are you? Triple H: (laughs) I think that's the commissioner, Sgt. Slobber. Slaughter: It's Sgt. Slaughter! (Shawn holds up the Euro title from all the spit that comes out of Slaughter's mouth) Do you understand? Shawn: Look Vince I don't want to talk to one of your henchmen... Slaughter: If you want to mess with Austin, how about I have your own henchman sidekick whatever he is to you, Triple H will take on Austin here tonight on RAW. How does that sound? Owen Hart def. Flash Funk via pinfall
The Disciples of Apocalypse and the Truth Commission fought to a Double DQ.
Ahmed Johnson & The Legion of Doom def. Savio Vega & Los Boricuas via pinfall.
Brian Christopher def. Yoshihiro Tajiri via pinfallKama & D-Lo (c) def. The Godwinns via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team ChampionshipsStone Cold Steve Austin def. Triple H (w/Chyna) via pinfall after landing a Stone Cold Stunner. Slaughter barred Shawn and Rude from ringside, but when Vince finds out he's upset at Slaughter and brings him to his office. After the match, Kane comes out. Austin looks a little surprised, but waits in the ring for him. Kane goes after Austin and they strike each other with left and rights. Austin manages to get Kane into the corner, but is met with a chokeslam. The Rock (c) (w/Nod) def. Bret "the Hitman" Hart (c) via Countout for the WWF Championship and Intercontinental Championships.
Before the match, Faarooq argues with the Rock in that what he's doing is wrong. He says that the Rock is getting too far ahead of himself and isn't ready, but the Rock "ensures" Faarooq that he's only going to try to "weaken" the Hitman for Faarooq at Survivor Series. The match went on like their original encounter with the exception of the finish. From outside interference by members of the NoD, the Hitman decides during the match to go for a suicide dive on all members. Faarooq and Bret fight it out on the outside as Bret loses the match. After a commercial break, the Rock is alone in the locker room and doesn't look to happy that he didn't get the title. He really believed he could be the WWF Champion and looks himself in the mirror till Faarooq comes in and he "smiles" for him saying he's glad to have helped Faarooq as RAW goes off air.

He looks at Faarooq and decides to salute for RAW to go off air.

Faarooq vs Bret The Hitman Hart the WWF Champion at Survivor Series 1997 with the WWF Championship on the line...I wonder if The Nation will somehow get involved in the match at Survivor Series to ensure that Faarooq walks out champion? Or will Bret have an ace up his sleeve that being Owen, Bulldog and Neidhart to help even the odds?
Kane vs Austin at Survivor Series 1997 I wonder if Vince and the associates if they will add a stipulation to the match?
How about DX where do they fit in? Or how about The Undertaker?

RAW is WAR October 27th, 1997 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry LawlerD-Generation X opens RAW and they cut a promo talking about several WWF Superstars. Shawn says that he should've been chosen by Vince to take on Austin, but it's too bad. As for Sgt. "Slobber", they have a message for him to "suck it". Slaughter is on the mic at the RAW platform and says that he's had it with their antics (many of them on house shows and others were done on Shotgun) and is forcing a handicap Survivor Series Match with the DX taking on a team that hate or dislike the DX: Ken Shamrock, Marc Mero, Steve Blackman & British Bulldog. Triple H says that both him and Shawn can take them all on, but they would like Chyna involved. Slaughter says if Chyna's up for it she can be in the match (she looks concerned, but is convinced by Triple H). Steve Blackman (RAW debut) def. Flash Funk via pinfall (DX watches the match in the back to see who this Steve Blackman is and make fun of him, but don't interfere in the match) The Legion of Doom def. Los Boricuas via pinfall
Ahmed Johnson, Mankind & Goldust def. Kama & D-Lo (c) via pinfall in a Handicap non-title match. Mark Henry and the Rock run out to help. Vader runs out to help Ahmed johnson and friends till WWF Officials stop them all. Triple H (w/Chyna & Shawn) def. Blackjack Bradshaw (w/Windham) via pinfall
Marc Mero (w/Sable) def. Flash Funk via pinfall. Mero is now using the "boxer" gimmick. The Undertaker fought Ken Shamrock to a Double Countout
At the end of RAW, Slaughter decides to add in the Undertaker in the DX Handicap SS Elimination Match. Survivor Series 1997 Report:16-Man Tag Team Battle Royal to determine the No.1 Contenders for the WWF Tag Team Championships: The Hardy Boyz, The Godwinns, The Headbangers, The New Blackjacks, The Legion of Doom, Los Boricuas, New Age Outlaws and Doug Furnas & Philip Lafon
The Disciples of Apocalypse (Crush, 8-Ball, Chaniz & Skull) vs. The Truth Commission (Interrogator, Jackyl, Recon & Sniper) in a SS Elimination Match
D-Generation X (WWF Euro Champ Shawn Michaels, Triple H & Chyna) vs. The Undertaker, Ken Shamrock, Marc Mero, Steve Blackman & British Bulldog in a Handicap SS Elimination Match
The Nation of Domination (WWF IC Champ The Rock, Henry, WWF Tag Champs Kama & D-Lo) vs. Vader, Ahmed Johnson, Mankind & Goldust in a SS Elimination Match

I don't see how DX wins the Handicap Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match I mean it is 5 on 3...3 members of DX Shawn Michaels the WWF European Champion, Triple H and Chyna going up against The Undertaker, Shamrock, Bulldog, Blackman and Mero I don't see how D-Generation X wins this match the odds are against them here it is a numbers game 5 on 3
Traditional Survivor Series rules...4 on 4 with 4 members of The Nation that being the WWF Tag Team Champions Kama & D'Lo, the WWF Intercontinental Champion The Rock and Mark Henry taking on Vader, Ahmed Johnson, Mankind and Goldust... think of the scenarios it could be 4 on 1, 4 on 2, 3 on 1, 3 on 2 or even 2 on 1
Stone Cold vs Kane in a regular match I would have thought that it would be a Stipulation match at least because of McMahon trying to soften up Austin even more

Kane is one monster that no one can control...not Vince & his Stooges no one except Paul Bearer and he is probably the only one who can control Kane...but Kane he doesn't do well with following orders no one tells him what he can or can't do and Kane I was hoping he would attack Vince and the associates just because he could
Kane attacking his brother The Undertaker it was only a matter of time

Then the next PPV after Survivor Series 1997 is the December PPV which is In Your House: D-generation X so if the PPV is called that no doubt DX would headline it
But then after is 1998...Royal Rumble 1998 I can see Austin winning the Royal Rumble Match considering 1997 he should have won it in this diary but then you changed that from happening
I wonder if superstars like Big Boss Man, Jeff Jarrett, etc will return...Honky Tonk Man I can see him being an entrant
But if Austin is in the Rumble he will be a marked man coming in...all 29 superstars will be gunning for Austin that's for sure
Foley I can see all 3 of his incarnations Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love all being in the Rumble
Terry Funk will be there as Chainsaw Charlie
As for Bret he should even be on his way out of the WWF because in 1998 he wasn't even there because of the Screwjob and he was in WCW by then

As for Michaels I can see him winning the title back by the next PPV especially if he gets the title shot and then at the Royal Rumble PPV he ends up facing The Undertaker in a Casket Match for the WWF Championship like in real life in 1998

The Outlaws now get a shot at the WWF Tag Team Championships ______________________________________________________ The Disciples of Apocalypse (Crush, 8-Ball, Chainz & Skull) vs. The Truth Commission (Interrogator, Jackyl, Recon & Sniper) in a SS Elimination MatchOrder of Elimination - 8-Ball > Jackyl > Skull > Sniper > Recon > 8-Ball > Interrogator Winner: Disciples of Apocalypse with Crush as sole survivor______________________________________________________ The Nation of Domination (WWF IC Champ The Rock, Henry, WWF Tag Champs Kama & D-Lo) (w/Faarooq) vs. Vader, Ahmed Johnson, Mankind & Goldust in a SS Elimination Match
Order of Elimination - Kama > Goldust > Henry > Mankind via Countout > D-Lo The Rock is alone, Vader and Ahmed Johnson double team him. The Rock beats the odds and manages to give Ahmed Johnson the Rock Bottom for the pinfall over him. Vader ruthlessly attacks the Rock. On the outside they fight till the Rock grabs the ring bell and smashes it over Vader's head to run in for the countout win. Winner: The Nation of Domination with the Rock as the sole survivor______________________________________________________ Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Kane (w/Paul Bearer) in Singles competition
Austin makes his way out first and waits in the ring as Kane makes his way out next. Kane and Austin are face to face with Austin talking trash. Kane chokes Austin, Austin fights back and they go at it. Kane dominates the first half, but Austin manages to brawl with Kane. The climax begins with Austin clotheslines Kane hard to force him to roll to the outside. Paul Bearer attends to Kane as Austin leaves the ring. Austin tries to ram Kane into the steel steps, but Kane counters and smashes Austin into it. Austin tries to get back in the ring as an enraged Kane throws the steel steps into the ring. Kane gets in the ring and pushes the referee to the mat. Kane lifts the steps, but Austin kicks Kane (drops the steps) and lands the Stone Cold Stunner! Austin goes for the pinfall and it looks like Austin is about to be the first one to beat the undefeated Kane, but as a second referee is seen trying to make his way out, Vince McMahon runs out quickly to stop the second referee threatening to fire him if he goes out. Vince takes the referee away and watches behind the curtain. Austin notices and gets on the mic asking for Vince to come out and stop hiding behind the curtains. Kane sits up and gets Austin who was distracted into the tombstone piledriver on top of the steel steps! Paul Bearer drags the referee to make the count and the ref does so. Winner: Kane via pinfall
Vince in the back has a big smirk on his face. JR is shouting that Austin got screwed again and that the ref should've called it a DQ since Kane pushed him. Kane celebrate his win over Austin. ______________________________________________________ D-Generation X (WWF Euro Champ Shawn Michaels, Triple H & Chyna) (w/Rick Rude) vs. The Undertaker, Ken Shamrock, Marc Mero, Steve Blackman & British Bulldog in a Handicap SS Elimination MatchThe Undertaker who was hurt on RAW this past week because of Kane doesn't show up for the match and Sgt. Slaughter wonders where the heck he is and tries to find him.Order of Elimination: Mero (gets pinned by Chyna and gets embarrassed by it) > Bulldog > Chyna via Countout > Triple H via DQ Shawn is alone with Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman as the last two left. Akin to Wrestlemania V, Rude holds unto Ken's legs as Shawn gets the pinfall over him. Ken runs after Rude. Blackman manages to impress the audience being the last survivor against Shawn, however Shawn gets in the sweet chin music for the pinfall. Shawn begins to celebrate a big win till the lights go dim. The Undertaker appears in the ring! Taker and Shawn go at it for two minutes, but Taker gets in the tombstone piledriver for the pin and win. Winner: The Undertaker as sole survivor______________________________________________________ In the back Austin is furious looking for Vince McMahon as he had the match won, but lost it because the second referee was pulled back. Austin shouts on camera that he'll make things worse for Vince if he doesn't show up. ______________________________________________________ Bret "the Hitman" Hart (c) vs. Faarooq (w/Nod) for the WWF ChampionshipThe Rock, Henry, Kama, and D-Lo join up with Faarooq for the match. Bret makes his way out and gets on the mic that he has an unfair advantage. He decides to bring out his family for help. Owen Hart, British Bulldog and Jim Neidhart make their way out to help Bret. The crowd are thrilled and Bret is still popular in Canada. Bret and Faarooq go at it till Bret's family and the NoD brawl it out on the outside. As the fight goes on the outside, Faarooq tosses Bret over the ropes and the Rock and Henry pound on Bret. Suddenly a furious Stone Cold Steve Austin runs into the ring, stuns Faarooq to a massive pop. Austin gets on the mic and tells Vince he'll see him on RAW. Austin runs through the crowd. Bret manages to take down the Rock and Henry and runs back in the ring to place the sharpshooter on an already unconscious Faarooq for the ref to call the bell. Winner: Bret "the Hitman" Hart via Submission to retain the WWF Championship

- Bret Hart retaining the WWF Championship against Nation leader Faarooq...I mean big assist goes to Austin because if it hadn't been for him Faarooq would have walked out champion even with the odds being The Nation and all members of The Hart Foundation showing up
- The Rock winning the Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team match for his team being the sole survivor...I just knew Rock the WWF Intercontinental Champion would be the last man standing because all were just jabronis who were in The Rock's way and he proved that he is the best damn Intercontinental Champion there ever was he proved he could survive and he proved he could eliminate every roody poo candy ass in that match even with the odds stacked against him
- The Undertaker winning the Handicap Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team match for his team eliminating Shawn last...I wonder if anything will come out of that?
- Austin got screwed again...Kane wins the match well obviously you wanna build Kane up as a monster heel as a dominant force who can't be stopped so him going over Austin had to happen even if it was because of a screwy finish because of Vince...I wonder where Kane and Bearer go from here?

RAW is War November 10th, 1997 Hosts: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler and Jim Cornette
Glass Shatters and Austin makes his way out to a big pop. Austin: Whoever wants to see Stone Cold whoop Vince McMahon's a$$ give me a hell ya (chants repeat). Come on out Vince you son of a bi$$h. Vince McMahon with Brisco, Patterson and Slaughter are on the stage platform to much heat from the crowd. Vince gets on the mic. Vince: (laughs) You think you're real smart don't you Austin. Interrupting my program dammit, you're not even scheduled here tonight. Face it you got what you deserved (fans chant "You screwed Austin"). Stone Cold screwed Stone Cold. Austin: Why don't you just shut your damn mouth because I ain't leaving the ring until you give me someone to beat up tonight. Vince: You don't get to blackmail me, I'm Vince McMahon! First of all, how dare you interupt the WWF Championship match. And because of you I have to give Faarooq another shot here tonight. Austin: How about you let me take a shot at the WWF title, because I think my change for a shot has been long overdue. Vince: (laughs) there is NO WAY in hell that I'll ever, and I say ever, give you a shot at the WWF Championship. And since you want a match heck I'll give it to you right here right now (laughs as his goons laugh with him and leave) After a commercial break Stone Cold is waiting for an opponent. Out comes Devon Storm who on Shotgun lost a spot in the Light Heavyweight title tournament. Austin looks confused and looks at the crowd. Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Devon Storm via pinfall. As soon as Storm got in the ring Austin kicks him and stuns him for the pin and win. Austin: (on the mic) Who the hell was that, I know you're laughing back there giving me someone I've never seen before...I ain't leaving until you give me a challenge that's worth my time. Suddenly Shawn Michaels from the crowd jumps the railings and lands a sweet chin music leaving Austin motionless in the ring. The New Age Outlaws def. Kama & D-Lo (c) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF Tag Team Champions. Thanks to outside interference from Owen, Bulldog and Niedhart, the Outlaws win the Tag titles. After a commercial break Faarooq is pissed off in the back that Bret's family interfered. He wants badly to punish Bret, the Rock tells Faarooq that he'd be willing to soften up the Hitman for him, but Faarooq tells him that Sgt. Slaughter is barring any one from interfering in tonight's WWF title match. Ahmed Johnson def. Bradshaw via pinfall
Marc Mero (w/Sable) def. 8-Balls via pinfall. Mero is happy he won the match and even issues out a challenge to Chyna to prove that he didn't lose to a "girl" (aka. it was the 90s). The Headbangers def. The Truth Commission (w/Jackyl) via pinfall
Triple H (w/Chyna) fought Ken Shamrock to a No Contest. Slaughter made the match for tonight early in the night, but the match never really started as both men fought in the aisle and never got in the ring. Faarooq def. Bret "the Hitman" Hart (c) via Countout. Bret retains the WWF Championship. During the match, Bret fell to the outside hard and hurt his knee badly, losing the match in the process. Faarooq starts attacking Bret on the outside and uses a chair over Bret's bad knee till Owen, Bulldog and Neidhart run out for the save. The NoD run out to help Faarooq till WWF Officials stop them to end RAW.

RAW is WAR November 17th, 1997 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry LawlerDX make their way out with Rick Rude (who is still working for the WWF since the Montreal Screwjob didn't happen). Shawn: You're all wondering why I gave the sweet chin music to Stone Cold Steve Austin. Well for one he has a big mouth, and most importantly, Vince McMahon needs to realize that I am the man for the job. I am the man who can take down Austin once and for all. I'm the showstopper, the main event, the greatest of all time. Rude: That's right and as one of the founders of DX, I've made a recent acquisition to manage a tag team, and soon you'll all see that they belong in the D-Generation X, but call it an initiation if you want, because once they prove themselves they'll be official members and you'll see them tonight. Triple H: D-Generation X: In Your House is just weeks away, and I'm calling out the Undertaker, one on one. You think you could screw us over at the Survivor Series the way you did? Well we don't forget. Shawn: As for Marc Mero's challenge, Chyna take the stage... Chyna: I accept... Triple H: That's right the first intergender match in WWF history is about to take place and Mero you're asking for trouble. Shawn: So Vince what will it be, give me a shot at Austin, and you won't be sorry or else...you can SUCK IT! Mankind & Goldust def. The Legion of Doom via Countout
Marc Mero (w/Sable) def. Savio Vega via pinfall
The New Age Outlaws (c) (w/Rick Rude) def. Los Boricuas via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships

Vince: First of all I want to make it clear to Shawn Michaels that there is no way in hell am I giving a title shot of any kind, not even the European Championship, to Stone Cold Steve Austin. Remind you, this is the same Stone Cold who once threw away the Intercontinental Championship belt in a river. (crowd repeats) Vince: Don't you dare touch me, I got an army of lawyers heck you should be considered lucky to still be in the WWF. Austin: I don't give a rats a$$ about how many lawyers you got, because Stone Cold wants the match with Shawn Michaels and I don't need the European title because you of all people should know that I deserve to be the WWF Champion. Vince: (laughs) You? No No, Bret "the Hitman" Hart is WWF Championship material. Bret Hart is a legend in the WWF, and you couldn't even fill the laces of Bret's boots Austin... Austin: So are you going to give me my match or not? Vince: (Slaughter whispers in his ear) You know what you got it. It'll be a non-title match and Austin, I want something in writing. I want you to sign a match with Shawn Michaels with a special stipulation that if you lose the match, you can never ever ask for a title shot ever. Austin: I'm fine with that and that's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so! Slaughter and Vince back away as Austin looks like he would've given them the Stunner. Although Mero outshines her in performance, it was mostly Triple H's interference along with Rick Rude helping out during the match that ends with Chyna landing a piledriver for the pin and win. After the match Mero starts ranting on the mic that Triple H and Rude constantly interfered and that they were teasing Sable throughout the match, his woman who no man should see. Nation of Domination (Faarooq, Mark, Kama and D-Lo) (w/The Rock) via pinfall after Jim Neidhart gets the pinfall over Faarooq. In what was seen as an embarrassment, the Rock on the outside "accidentally" tripped Faarooq for him to fall allowing Neidhart and Bret going for their old school Hart Attack finisher with Jim pinning him. The Rock leaves the Nation to the back. In the back, Faarooq goes nuts and screams at the Rock. The Rock says it was an "accident" and asks for "forgiveness". Faarooq says that the Rock has gone too far and now his status in the Nation has to be in question again. The Rock turns away and smiles. ___________________________________________________ Shawn Michaels (c) (w/Triple H, Chyna, Rude, New Age Outlaws) vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin in a non-title Match. If Austin loses he can never ask for a title shot for any WWF title.
Austin is out first followed by Shawn and the whole DX. Austin is surprised by the six others that follow Shawn. Austin decides to attack Shawn right away and jumps to the outside! Austin starts striking everyone around him, but gets ganged up. In the back Vince is loving it, Sgt. Slaughter hates DX, but Vince doesn't allow him to get involved. Austin is being pummeled and is smashed into the steel steps and the ringpost by DX. The bell finally rings as Austin is thrown in. Shawn starts to work on Austin. Austin tries to fight back, but Shawn has the upperhand. Shawn later throws Austin once again to the outside for the DX to pummel on Austin! Austin is worn out, Vince in the back can be seen on camera with popcorn and drinks with his goons sitting with him enjoying the match. Austin is thrown back in and the ref can't do anything about it. Shawn gets in the corner setting up his finisher and goes for it! Austin grabs his foot, turns him around and kicks Shawn for the Stunner! Both men are down. The ref goes for the count as DX take Shawn to the outside and even throw water over him to wake him up. Shawn gets back in as Austin is up. They start to punch each other back and forth, till Austin gets fired up and gets Shawn into a corner opening up a can of whoop a$$ on him. Austin is relentless, he flips Shawn and goes for the kick, but Shawn turns Austin towards the corner and goes for the superkick, but Austin blocks it turns Shawn around and once again lands the Stunner! Austin goes for the pinfall, but DX runs in for the DQ. Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin via DQ. DX attack Austin, but Austin fights back! Now it is on to the 1998 Royal Rumble PPV certainly getting close enough to it...but it begs the question of if Bret will even defend the title at the PPV? If he does I wonder who his opponent will be?
With the New Age Outlaws joining DX you have Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chyna, Rude and the New Age Outlaws but honestly I can't see Rick Rude being in DX much longer because he was in WCW as a member of the nWo the New World Order so how Rude is even still here is beyond me
Plus with X-Pac he doesn't even return to WWF until after WrestleMania 14 to join DX because X-Pac was still in WCW under contract
And same with Bret Hart how he is even still here too shocks me because he should be in WCW as well
With Rock since he is the IC Champion I can see him overthrowing Faarooq as leader with Rock becoming the new leader of The Nation with Rock causing the others to turn on Faarooq too and they all beat him down...it is bound to happen

Knowing Vince & his goons I can see them putting Austin in the Royal Rumble Match but Austin has to start out at #1...I can definitely see Vince & company doing that to try to stack the odds against Austin
But I wonder which superstars will qualify for the Royal Rumble Match by winning singles or tag team matches?
