RAW is WAR August 11th, 1997 Hosts: Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross
Vince McMahon gets in the ring with Pat Patterson with a new title belt encased in the middle of the ring. Vince: The WWF has had a proud tradition of the Intercontinental Championship ever since Pat Patterson was the first IC champion in history. And in that tradition, we have redesigned a brand new Intercontinental Championship belt. This belt is made for a great champion, a champion who models after everything a WWF Superstar is about, this belt is for the Rock (with the original WWF logo and not Attitude). So let's bring him out here! The Rock: (makes his way out with the old belt and tosses it aside) Thank you so much Mr. McMahon. Pat takes the belt from the encasing and gives it to the Rock till suddenly... GLASS SHATTERS! AUSTIN RUNS OUT FROM THE BACK! The crowd is going wild as Austin rushes into the ring and starts to beat up on the Rock as Vince and Patterson roll out and Vince gets on the phone. Austin beats up on the rock and takes the new title belt. He starts whipping the Rock's back with it! Austin gets on the mic. Austin: If you think you can fire my a$$ and send me away you're mistaken you sorry SOB. You wanna screw Stone Cold well I got something for ya... WWF Security rush in and Austin fights back! The crowd is going wild as Austin fires lefts and rights till finally some security guards use batons and strike down Austin. Austin is taken to the back. The cops arrive in the back with Vince telling them that they need to arrest Austin. Austin however escapes from the grips of the security and runs back to the ring. He gets on the mic again. Austin: You can bring in the cops, you can bring in the national guard that ain't stopping me because Stone Cold said so! The cops rush in and go after Austin. Austin pushes one of them as Lawler says that's assault on a police officer and grounds for arrest. Vince rushes into the ring with a mic.Vince: Stop it (to the cops) enough enough this is gone too far Austin. This is too much. You can't do this Austin, think about it? How is this helping you? How is this going to make you come back to the WWF? Do you think I'd reinstate you? (Austin looks away upset) Mark my words there is now way... Austin: And you can mark mine because if you don't bring me back I'll leave for where the "Big Boys Play" (aka. WCW), how does that sound? Vince: What? You can't do that! I've had it with your insubordination, your attitude, everything about you in fact Austin I'm beginning to hate you! Suddenly Austin stuns McMahon! The cops arrest Austin and take him to the back and into the police car. The Legion of Doom def. The Godwinns via pinfall
Scott Putski def. Tony Williams via pinfallAfter a commercial break in the back Vince is talking to Sgt. Slaughter and Patterson. Gerald Brisco calls himself an "Advisor" and talks to Vince who is holding unto his neck and pacing back and forth in his office:
Brisco: Mr. McMahon with all due respect, I don't think it's a good idea to send Mr. Austin away. How many have gone to the otherside (aka. WCW)? You don't want Austin to go there in fact I think you should reinstate him. Vince: No I can't do it, I can't have him around. Brisco: Mr. McMahon think about it, you have Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, the Undertaker, Kane, Vader, Ken Shamrock and many WWF Superstars...use them all against Austin. Vince: (stops his pace) Well...I don't know... Brisco: Think about it, why give the other guys Austin, when we can do whatever we want with him. Vince: I'll think about it...dammit, I gotta get this checked ah the pain! Flash Funk def. Brian Pillman via pinfall
Ken Shamrock def. The British Bulldog via submission
Faarooq (w/NoD, but no Rock) def. Chainz via pinfall
Shawn Michaels (w/Chyna) def. The Patriot via pinfall.

RAW is WAR August 18th, 1997 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler Note: Austin in real life suffered a near-career ending injury from a botched piledriver at SummerSlam. Since in this diary the botch never happens, he's taking a little time off to heal from other minor injuries and thus gives Austin a chance to continue wrestling long-term instead of retiring in 2003 due to the botch. Vince makes his way in the ring to open RAW. I would like to first apologize for what happened last week. I'd never thought I'd have to bring the police force into a WWF ring and have my program interupted by a rattlesnake. As for Stone Cold Steve Austin ("You screwed Austin" chants begin) no no, Stone Cold screwed Stone Cold, get the facts straight. Anyway, I have been in discussion with the WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter, my Advisor Gerald Brisco, and my good pal Pat Patterson, about the possibility of reinstating Stone Cold Steve Austin. I would like to make it clear, that I have no intention of reinstating him. He doesn't belong in the WWF. But if I have to keep that son of a bi$$h from shifting over to the otherside (aka. WCW), dammit I'll give him just one chance (fans cheer). Yes that's right one chance to come back to the WWF and so I invite Mr. Austin to join us as Ground Zero: In Your House, live on PPV on September 7th. And Austin I'm not going to make it easy for you remember that.Ken Shamrock def. Hunter Hearst Helsmley (c) (w/Chyna) via submission in a non-title match. After a commercial break Rick Rude is seen in the back talking to Chyna. Sgt. Slaughter announces that Ken Shamrock is the No. 1 contender and will be taking on Bret "the Hitman" Hart for the WWF Championship at Ground Zero in a Submission match. Dude Love & Goldust (c) (w/Marlena) def. Los Buricas via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships
Jesse Jammes def. Brian Pillman via DQ
Flash Funk def. Brian Christopher via pinfall
Kane (w/Paul) def. The Sultan (w/Shiek) via pinfall
Bret "the Hitman" Hart (c) def. The Patriot via submission to retain the WWF Championship. After the match Bret gets on the mic. Bret: I got a lot of respect for the Patriot who has shown great sportsmanship unlike guys like Shawn Michaels. I also got respect for Ken Shamrock, the world's most dangerous man. Ken, you may be the No. 1 contender, but you're looking at the excellence of execution. You want to be the master of submission holds? Than you got to get through a man who knows it all, when I lock in the sharpshooter....(fans aren't so in to the promo) Ken: (makes his way out and gets in Bret's face) You know Bret Hart, I also got respect for you, but at Ground Zero, you'll be the one tapping out. Bret and Ken are face to face as RAW goes off air.

Shawn Michaels is nearing the end anyway because he sustains a back injury and there is no coming back from that same with Austin I mean the man had a pretty serious neck injury in 1997

Friday Night's Main Event September 5th, 1997 Hosts: Jim Ross and Dok HendrixThe show starts off with a camera crew at Stone Cold's ranch in Texas to get a word with Austin, who was released on bail by the WWF and about the possibility of reinstatement at Ground Zero. The crew knock on his door and he opens it. Austin: (has a beer in his hands and hunting gear) What the hell do you guys want? How the hell'dya find where I was at? You don't look like Jim Ross or someone with authority. If the WWF is serious about my reinstatement, they should've sent someone important. (looks another another person) Don't you dare take snaps of me otherwise I'll shove it up your a$$. Y'all got no business being here go back to Conneticut..get outta here unless you got something important to say to me like what Vince McMahon has planned for me...you know what why don't you sit down on the patio I gotta take a leak and get back at ya... The Patriot def. Brian Pillman via pinfall
Hunter Hearst Helmsley (c) (w/Chyna) def. Owen Hart via pinfall to retain the WWF European Championship
The Legion of Doom def. Los Boricuas via pinfall___________________________________________________ After a commercial break we're back at Austin's ranch. Austin: (brings out a crossbow and some pictures) You know I got this damn package last week with a letter from some Gerald Brisco, Advisor to that son of a bi$$$h Vince McManhon...the letter officially invites me to Ground Zero with a VIP backstage pass. I feel like just throwing this VIP pass to any bystander because this pisses me off that the WWF sent a bunch of nobodies like you to me. Look at these pictures I found for some damn reason someone sent me some autographs of WWF executives when I first signed on the WWF. Look at here we got Vince, Pat Patterson, Sgt. Slaughter and Gerald Brisco. You gotta be kidding me because I don't give a damn rats a$$ about these autographs but you know what they make for some good practice... Austin gets out his crossbow and shoots four arrows into the images unto a practice deer. Vince's picture was on the deer's rear end.Austin: And that's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so. So get the hell outta here will ya. ___________________________________________________ Ken Shamrock def. Salvatore Sincere via Submission

Ground Zero: In Your House September 7th, 1997 Louisville Gardens, Kentucky Hosts: Vince McMahon, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross Brian Christopher def. Scott Putski via CountoutMini Austin def. Mini Goldust AND Mini Vader via pinfall in a Triple Threat Match after Mini Austin got in the Stone Cold Stunner on Mini Vader. Goldust (c) (w/Marlena) def. Dude Love (c) via Countout. A rough battle that ends with Goldust landing the Curtain Call on Dude Love on top of the spanish announce table. Goldust hopes that Dude Love becomes Mankind again. British Bulldog def. Hunter Hearst Helmsley (c) (w/Chyna) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF European Champion. At the end of the match, with the referee outcold, Chyna accidently clotheslines Hunter. Bulldog takes advantage of it and lands his powerbomb finisher for the win. The Rock (c) def. Savio Vega AND Crush via pinfall in a Triple Threat to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship.
At the beginning of the match, Sgt. Slaughter barred any "gang member" from interfering in the match. The Rock overcomes Vega and Crush when he lands a DOUBLE Rock Bottom on the both of them and pins Savio for the win. After the Rock leaves Crush blames Savio and starts beating up on him. __________________________________________________ Vince gets in the ring with Sgt. Slaughter and calls out Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin appears to a huge pop and gets in the ring, flipping off Vince and Slaughter. Vince: Mr. Austin...I believe everyone knows that I am a patient man. I've put up with a lot. Now you've taken an interest in returning to the WWF. Now there will be a couple of rules that you need to understand. First off you can never, ever assault a WWF Official again otherwise that is grounds for immediate termination. Second, you can never, and I mean ever ask for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. That belt is off limits for you Austin. And third, you will take a pay cut worth 30%. And all these stupid t-shirts that these fans are wearing with Austin 3:16, not a single penny... Austin: Why don't you shut that A-hole of yours you call a mouth and listen to what I have to say (gets a pop as Vince looks frustrated). First off I got the best damn lawyer in Texas ready to sue your a$$ for you breaking the contract and forcing me to lose a match with the screwjob you pulled hell ya you're gonna be paying for years to come Vince. Second, you're gonna reinstate me right now before I stun your a$$es all the way to Mexico. And third, I will take every damn penny for every Austin 3:16 shirt that sells because that's the bottom line! Vince: I offered you a chance of a lifetime there is no way now that I'm...(Slaughter starts to whisper to Vince's ear)...You know what I've had it, you can keep your old contract and keep it the way it was because Austin, I've got a whole army of WWF Superstars who will kick your a$$ and believe me I'm not going to make it easy for you Austin. In fact I might just take pleasure in seeing you get beat up. Austin: So it's a deal? Vince: What the heck it's a deal dammit. Austin: Fantastic Suddenly Austin stuns Sgt. Slaughter to a massive pop! He gives Vince the finger, talks trash and leaves the ring. __________________________________________________ Bret "the Hitman" Hart (c) def. Ken Shamrock in a Submission Match to retain the WWF Championship. Shamrock dominated most of the match with submission holds and take downs. In the end he had the ankle lock finisher on Bret and Bret started to tap out! However the referee was knocked out by that time. Shawn Michaels and Hunter Hearst Helmsley with Chyna run out and start beating up on Shamrock. Shawn has a chair and smashes it over Shamrock. He places it on the ground for HHH to land a pedigree on the chair! Bret is up as Shawn tries to punch him out, but Bret clotheslines him to the ground and knocks down HHH. Bret grabs the chair and smashes it over Shawn! Bret notices that Shamrock is down and goes for the sharpshooter. Shamrock is outcold as the referee is up and notices he isn't saying anything and calls for the bell. In the ring Bret celebrates the win, though some fans boo him for taking such a win. HHH takes Shawn to the back. In a post-match interview, HHH says that they did it for "fun" and Shawn starts to laugh and says he enjoyed messing around and that everyone in the WWF can "suck it".

It doesn't matter (to the fans) because in the record books I came out the winner of a Submission match with the most dangerous man on the planet. You know...I give and I give and I give. I do everything for all of you, and this is the kind of bull$hit reception I get...( gets booed now)...What, you prefer cheering on a redneck who drinks and "Degenerates" like Shawn Micheals and Hunter? What the hell is happening to the WWF? I'm the Hitman, I'm the WWF Champion! I'm the best there is the best there was the best there ever will be! Mini Vader def. Mini Austin via pinfall. After a commercial break Vince loves how Mini Vader squashed Mini Austin and hopes Vader will squash Austin the same way next week on RAW. Mankind (c) (w/Goldust and Marlena) def. Brian Pillman via pinfall. Goldust came out at the beginning of the match to say that Dude Love is gone and has reintroduced his tag team partner Mankind. Faarooq comes out with the Nation and gets on the mic. He asks for the Rock to get in the ring. The Rock comes out and they get into an argument. Finally the Rock apologizes and says that with the Nation he would be nothing. Faarooq and the Rock hug it out. One Night Only September 20th, 1997 NEC Arena, Birmingham, England Hosts: Vince McMahon, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross Note: The original PPV had restricted availability, in this diary Vince manages to work out a plan to at least give U.S viewers a better chance at watching the PPV on a delayed time. Below is the US Card, the UK card and PPV had several other matches. Fatal-4-Way Tag Team Match: Los Boricuas def. The Legion of Doom vs. The Godwinns vs. The Headbangers. Vader def. The Undertaker via Countout. The arena turns red and distracts the Undertaker who has been depressed ever since he lost to Kane. Triple H (w/Chyna) def. The Patriot via pinfall. _______________________________________________________ Kane (w/Paul Bearer) def. Bret "the Hitman" Hart (c) via Decision. Bret retains the WWF Championship.Akin to the match that Bret originally had with the Undertaker at this event, Kane locks in Bret's head between the ropes that chokes him out. Bret Hart passes out and the ref calls for the bell. Paul Bearer brings out the WWF title and hands it over to Kane. The referee gives Kane the win as WWF Officials help Bret out as Bret is taken out on a stretcher. Because Kane had Bret locked in between the ropes on purpose, he isn't awarded the WWF title. Paul Bearer in a post-match promo hopes that the WWF give Kane another chance at the WWF title. _______________________________________________________ Shawn Michaels (w/Triple H, Chyna and Rick Rude) def. British Bulldog (c) to become the NEW WWF European Champion.
The match went exactly as it did with the exception of the finish. Shawn lands a superkick on the outside, while Triple H pedigrees Bulldog on the outside. Bulldog can barely get up as Shawn lands a superkick in the ring for the win. A humiliating loss on Bulldog in his own home town (the original finish was a figure-four, thought it was better this way).

- Bret Hart as WWF Champion it seems that he is turning heel again in this diary well the fans are pretty much turning Bret again because his reactions lately with it being mixed and him getting boos and all that it is just bound to happen because of the fact that people are cheering for superstars like Austin and DX while people like Bret are being booed
- Rock is obviously lying...I mean there is obvious dissension within the Nation I mean Faarooq he may be the leader of The Nation of Domination but Rock he has basically outshined Faarooq in almost every inconceivable way to the point that The Rock may feel like he should be the leader and it is obvious that the other Nation members are going to have to choose between Rock and Faarooq...that is what it is going to have to come down to and The Nation end up siding with The Rock as they all beat down Faarooq...it is bound to happen at this point
- Seeing this Mankind/Dude Love/Cactus Jack thing go on it is only a matter of time before Cactus Jack is brought back to the forefront...Goldust obviously wants Mankind back but will he get Mankind?

Bret Hart is going to be leaving WWF anyway well soon enough he will because honestly Bret's character doesn't even fit anymore in the WWF it is a whole new era it is The Attitude Era and sorry Bret but you don't fit in any more and neither do any of the other stars of the past...this is a new era where new stars only new stars should be able to rise stars not stars of old like Bret, Shawn, etc like Austin, Taker, Mankind, Vader, Goldust, Mankind, Shamrock, Rock, etc.

RAW is WAR September 29th, 1997 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry LawlerAn angry Vince McMahon, Sgt. Slaughter, Brisco and Patterson make their way out to the ring. Vince: Last week on RAW, Stone Cold Steve Austin proved that he can continue on as a WWF Superstar by defeating...this is hard to say, but he managed to do the impossible and pinned Vader. Only few could have done so. But this time Austin, this time it's not going to be easy. You see this Sunday, Live on PPV, Ken Shamrock will want his revenge against Shawn Michaels for the WWF European Championship. But I need a Main Event bigger than that. And what perfect way then to set up the most ambitious main event in the history of Sports Entertainment. My Advisor, Gerald Brisco has setup this match (Brisco nods in excitement), a match of a lifetime for you Austin. It's going to be in a cage, but not a cage you think it'd be. It's a 5-sided structure with chain-link fencing that completely encloses the whole ring! We call it a Hell in a Cell! That whole ringside area you see out here will be covered. There will be no way in, and no way out Austin and as for your opponent.... GLASS SHATTERS and Austin makes his way out. Austin: You wanna put me in a cage son? I'd rather have all four of you in this so-called cage of yours so I can whoop your a$$es and you won't have any place to go. I'll take on anyone, bring 'em on! Vince: You're gonna regret this Austin, because it will be... The Undertaker! Austin: (looks a bit shocked) You want me to get in the ring with the Dead Man? Vince: That's right Austin. I see it, I see the fear in your eyes... Austin: I fear no man you son of a bi$$h, but I gotta admit he ain't no man. The arena goes dark and in the middle of the ring is the Undertaker! Vince and his goons run out laughing. Taker looks at Vince. Vince shouts on the mic to attack Austin. Austin starts punching Taker! Taker chokes Austin and lands the chokeslam. After a commercial break, JR and the King talk about what this main event means for Badd Blood. Throughout RAW and on Shotgun, the Hell in a Cell is heavily promoted. The Patriot fought the British Bulldog to a Double Countout.
Faarooq (w/NoD) def. Ahmed Johnson via pinfall. The Rock lands the Rock Bottom on Johnson to help Faarooq win the match, without Faarooq knowing the Rock helped him. After a commercial break, the Rock goes to Vince McMahon in his office and asks if he can challenge Vader. Vince wants to know why, and he says that he'll prove that Stone Cold did nothing impossible by beating Vader and that'll he'll show Vince he can defeat Vader. Vince says it's a good idea and accepts. Los Boricuas def. The Headbangers via pinfallKane (w/Paul Bearer) def. Goldust (c) (w/Marlena) via pinfall. Bret "the Hitman" Hart (c) def. The Sultan (w/Iron Sheik) via pinfall to retain the WWF Championship Badd Blood: In Your House Report The Patriot vs. The British Bulldog in Singles competition
Mankind & Goldust (c) (w/Marlena) vs. Kama Mustafa & D-Lo Brown for the WWF Tag Team Championships
Shawn Michaels (c) (w/Triple H, Chyna and Rude) vs. Ken Shamrock in a No DQ Match for the WWF European Championship
The Rock (c) vs. Vader for the WWF Intercontinental Championship
The Disciples of Apocalyse vs. Los Boricuas in an Eight-man Tag Team match
The Undertaker vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin in the first HELL IN A CELL Match

Austin has to face The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell the first ever Hell in a Cell Match...I mean I don't see how Austin wins this match especially when this match is The Undertaker's specialty pretty much perfectly designed for Taker and Austin is going to have to fight for his life literally inside this Hell in a Cell...no way to get into the cell no way to get out of it and obviously this is McMahon & The Stooges written all over this
Rock defending his WWF Intercontinental Championship against Vader...I mean I wonder if The Nation will get involved somehow in this match making sure that Rock walks out of the match still the WWF Intercontinental Champion? Or I wonder if the referee will somehow ban or anyone who is in authority bans The Nation from ringside? Because if that happens then Rock going it alone against Vader I don't see how he walks out champ
Michaels having to face The World's Most Dangerous Man Shamrock with the WWF European Championship on the line with Michaels defending...now this is definitely a match I really wanted to see or a program I wanted to see more of...that being Michaels/Shamrock but with DX in tow I don't see how Shamrock wins this match unless he puts one of DX in the Ankle Lock whether he puts Triple H or Rick Rude in the Ankle Lock or he puts it on Chyna somehow
Mankind & Goldust defending their WWF Tag Team Championships against Nation members Kama Mustafa & D'Lo Brown...it seems The Nation they can win gold here especially since they have the WWF Intercontinental Championship in their group considering The Rock is the champion Kama & D'Lo can win gold and bring it into this stable but then again Mankind & Goldust being so unconventional as a tag team fighting each other at every turn beating the holy hell out of each other I don't see how they walk out still the champions...not to mention the factor of other Nation members interfering in this match to help them
With Patriot facing Bulldog I wonder how come Owen is not on the card?
Bret Hart being the WWF Champion I would have expected him to be defending the WWF Championship here at this PPV

Badd Blood: In Your House October 5th, 1997 Kiel Center, St. Loius, Missouri Hosts: Vince McMahon, Bret Hart, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross WWF Champion Bret "the Hitman" Hart makes a special appearance as commentator for the night. The Patriot def. The British Bulldog via pinfall. Bret says that it was a good try from the Bulldog, but the Patriot has a lot of potential. Los Boricuas def. The Disciples of Apocalyse via pinfall in an Eight-man Tag Team match with Savio getting the pinfall over Crush. Bret doesn't say much in the match but that he hates how Savio was treated by the Nation of Domination, which resulted in all of this chaotic gang wars. The Rock (c) (w/NoD) def. Vader via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship.
The match went beyond the twenty minute mark with Vader dominating for most of it, but consistently gets interference from all members of the NoD. Eventually Faarooq and Henry land a suplex on Vader on the spanish announce table! The Rock doesn't want a countout and has the whole NoD throw Vader in for him. Vader is hurt badly till the Rock lands the Rock Bottom for the pinfall win. Shawn Michaels (c) (w/Triple H, Chyna and Rude) def. Ken Shamrock in a No DQ Match to retain the WWF European Championship.
Shawn, Triple H, Chyna and Rude are officially called the "D-Generation X" after Bret had called them a while back a D-Generate and Shawn in a promo says it was the perfect name for who they really were. Despite Ken Shamrock snapping three times in the match and beating the odds, the triple team of outside interference was too much. Finally the referee decides to kick out Triple H, Chyna and Rude after what happened with the NoD earlier. Shawn is alone and Ken gets in the ankle lock for Shawn to get the rope break in time. Shamrock goes for a superplex, but amazingly Shawn drops to his feet from the top and lands a superkick for the pin and win. Kama Mustafa & D-Lo Brown (w/NoD) def. Mankind & Goldust (c) (w/Marlena) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF Tag Team Champions. Mark Henry landed a big powerslam on Goldust. Bret doesn't look to happy as NoD starts attacking Mankind and Goldust. Bret Hart on commentary jumps from the desk with a steel chair and starts swinging the chair around (the Rock jumps first) till everyone leaves except Faarooq. Faarooq doesn't look afraid and grabs the chair from Bret and kicks him to slam it over his back! Faarooq lands a lifting spinebuster finisher on Bret leaving him in the ring. Bret is taken to the back and doesn't show up for the main event. ______________________________________ The Undertaker vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin in the first HELL IN A CELL MatchSlaughter, Briso and Patterson walk out first to "check the cell" as Vince joins them leaving JR and King at commentary and they laugh with each other. Austin makes his way out and flips them all off to a pop. Austin is in the cell and looks around at awe with what it is. Taker makes his slow way out and gets in. Taker and Austin go at it and for the first half it's a typical match, but ends up becoming more physical. Taker smashes Austin into the cage and even drags his face across it and you could see Vince actually smiling from it. Vince starts shouting at Taker to destroy Austin. Austin is cut open as Taker stares at Vince who gets frightened and sits back down. They continue to brawl, till Taker throws Austin towards the door till it breaks! Austin tries to climb the cage to get a breather and reaches the top. Taker follows him and reaches the top to meat a stunner at the top! This gives Austin enough time to get back down and into the ring. Taker sits up and rushes down for Austin. Austin is in the ring and find a chair from underneath the ring. Taker is in and Austin smashes it over him. Austin now drags Taker's face in the cage causing Taker to bleed now. Both men are exhausted till Taker gets in the chokeslam on Austin in the middle of the ring. Suddenly the arena goes dark for a moment and red and Taker looks around. From BENEATH THE RING Kane pops out and grabs Taker for the tombstone piledriver. Austin has no idea as Kane leaves. Vince is upset that Kane interfered till Austin is on his knees and notices Taker on the floor, he crawls towards him for the pinfall. Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin via pinfallVince gets angry and starts to leave with his goons as a bloody Austin is up having no idea he won because of Kane. Austin gets a mic handed over to him.Austin: Where the hell are you going you son of a bi$$h. You wanted me to survive in hell here I am, why don't you come in you pieces of trash. Vince flips off Austin for the first time and leaves as the PPV goes off the air.

- I would think Vince and his goons would be angry downright pissed off at Kane & Paul Bearer because Kane essentially ruined Vince's plans inside Hell in a Cell by interfering in the match basically costing his brother The Undertaker the match inside Hell in a Cell...well Kane did interfere in Vince's plans so I wonder how Vince will react to that on RAW? I mean Kane is one monster that you do not want to piss off...Kane obviously did what he did basically to get revenge on The Undertaker and he obviously got his revenge at the expense of Vince's plans being thwarted but at the same time The Undertaker was basically carrying out Vince's plans by facing Austin inside the 1st ever Hell in a Cell Match at Bad Blood...but then again Kane is a heel and so is Vince & his stooges so there is that to consider as well
- Austin he managed to survive Hell in a Cell somehow all be it he had inadvertent help from Kane...I don't think Kane did that deliberately to help Austin Kane did it more or less to destroy his own brother The Undertaker so I mean after Austin survived Hell in a Cell it begs the question of what Vince & the associates have in store for Austin?
- The Nation of Domination add more gold to their stable with Kama Mustafa & D'Lo Brown becoming the new WWF Tag Team Champions beating Mankind & Goldust...well we almost knew that The Nation would get involved in this match that was a given and the fact that they did interfere just goes to show us that The Nation just may be the stable here in the WWF that no one can stop I mean they already have the WWF Tag Team Championships in their possession well now they do and they also have the WWF Intercontinental Championship because of The Rock...but then again Mankind & Goldust do have a rematch clause for those titles...but then again the WWF Champion Bret "The Hitman" Hart he tried to help Mankind & Goldust in this match all be it inadvertently but a lot of good it did...Bret was left laying by The Nation well specifically Faarooq so I wonder what this means for Bret Hart going forward?
- Shawn Michaels retaining his WWF European Championship against Ken Shamrock The World's Most Dangerous Man...all be it he had help from DX specifically Triple H and Chyna and Rude because if it wasn't for them helping Shawn he wouldn't have walked out of the match still the champ because let's be honest Shamrock totally was dominating Shawn the majority of the match but somehow Shawn was able to turn the tide even when DX were sent to the back he did beat Shamrock on his own somehow but let's face it Shamrock had the match won
- Same thing could be said in the WWF Intercontinental Championship match between The Rock and Vader...The Rock retaining his title well he had help from The Nation because they got involved and basically softened Vader up enough for Rock to take advantage even though Rock got his fair share of offense Rock ever since winning that title back he has managed to turn back challenger after challenger even though he won the title back in a screwy finish hence the SummerSlam screwjob but still Rock has managed to prove that he will do anything to hold on to that title
- So it begs the question of who will face Bret for that title at WWF Survivor Series 1997

RAW is WAR October 6th, 1997 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler
RAW starts off with a ten-bell salute in memory of Brian Pillman who passed away last night due to an undetected heart condition. Because of this, Vince will be making an appearance next week in regards to what happened at Badd Blood. The Headbangers def. The Godwinns (w/Uncle Cletus) via pinfall
Marc Mero (w/Sable) def. Miguel Perez Jr via pinfall
The Rock (c) def. The British Bulldog via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship
The Hardy Boyz def. The Truth Commission (Recon and Sniper) via pinfall with Lawler calling it an "upset" with their RAW "debut" Bret "the Hitman" Hart (c) def. Mark Henry (w/NoD) via pinfall to retain the WWF Championship. After the match, Faarooq gets in the ring and wants to face Bret alone. Bret shoves him and they get into a fight. The Rock runs out and helps Faarooq, but accidently knocks down Faarooq! Bret takes down the Rock and the Rock challenges Bret to a match next week on RAW, as Faarooq is helped up by Henry.
