I don't know why you would have The Rock break away from The Nation so easily and so quickly too but also I don't get why you would have the other Nation members take Faarooq back much less why they would even align themselves with him again I seriously do not understand that Seeing Kane turn on his own father Paul Bearer now that was shocking I definitely wouldn't have called that but now seeing Austin vs Kane in a First Blood Match for the title I say Kane walks out as the new WWF Champion At this point the way I see it is the Rock can stand on his own. Plus he's abandoned them before and isn't trustworthy as they were done with him after Taker beat them all up. The Nation needs a refresh imo and so they allied with Faarooq again to create the "New Nation".

WWF Shotgun Saturday Night May 30th, 1998 Hosts: Kevin Kelly and Vince Russo Val Venis def. Matt Hardy via pinfall
Mark Henry (w/D-Lo) def. Jeff Hardy via pinfall
The New Age Outlaws (c) def. The New Midnight Express (w/Cornette) via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships
Too Much (Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor) fought David Jericho & Papi Chulo to a No Contest after Stone Cold Steve Austin makes a RARE appearance and STUNS ALL FOUR competitors to a big pop from the crowd as he gulps down a bunch of beers and gets on the mic. Austin: This is the kind of thing that is going to happen in the WWF if Vince McMahon continues down the path of self-destruction because Stone Cold Steve Austin ain't ever gonna backdown or ever surrender the WWF Championship belt. You'll have to dig me a grave son, because as much as Kane is a big tough sob, tomorrow night at Over the Edge, I'm gonna whip his a$$ so hard that... SUDDENLY from the roof of the arena, a RAIN OF BLOOD POURS DOWN! Austin: What the hell.... Austin looks absolutely shocked along with the crowd that go silent as Shotgun goes off air.

Over the Edge: In Your House May 31st, 1998 Wisconsin Center Arena, Milwaukee Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry LawlerThe first PPV with a TV-14 Parental Rating (which happened in real life and all PPV's continued this way for ten years). LOD 2000 (w/Sunny) def. The Disciples of Apocalypse (w/Chainz) via pinfall. Sunny distracted Skull, which resulted in a powerslam and the Doomsday Device finisher for the win. Marc Mero def. Ken Shamrock (w/Sable) via DQ. Ken Shamrock completely dominated the match and even got on the ankle lock. Mero started to tap out, but Sable was distracting the referee in order to torture Mero more. Ken wasn't happy with that, but it ended with Sable getting in the ring with a steel chair and smashing it over Mero. Sable decided to go for the ankle lock herself as Mero can barely move. Shamrock lifts her up to stop her and admonishes her for costing him the match. Sable doesn't care and wants Mero to suffer. Ken says he wants nothing to do with Sable anymore and quits as her trainer as Mero rolls out of the ring hurt. The New Nation: Kama & D-Lo Brown (w/Faarooq and Mark Henry) def. Terry Funk & Two Cold Scorpio via pinfall. Despite attempts by Terry Funk to turn this into a hardcore tag match, Scorpio BETRAYS Funk with his Tumbleweed finisher! Kama gets in the pin for the win. After the match, Scorpio salutes Faarooq and Faarooq embraces him. Steve Blackman (c) def. Taka Michinoku (w/Kai En Tai) via DQ to retain the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. Taka put on a high flying match, but the Kai En Tai would later interfere when Blackman has an armbar hold on Taka (who was clearly tapping out), and the referee decided on the DQ finish. They start to beat up on Blackman after the match and Taka lands a roundhouse to the face knocking down Blackman unconscious. The Rock (c) def. The Undertaker via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship. The Undertaker dominated most of the match, though the Rock countered every finisher and even during the old-school, the Rock pushed Taker down. Near the end of the match, the Undertaker whips the Rock into the ropes, but manages to knock down the referee. Taker lands the tombstone piledriver for the pin, but no ref. Taker tries to wake the referee till MANKIND shows up and jumps the Undertaker with the mandible claw till he's out of it! Mankind wakes up the referee and the Rock crawls over the Undertaker for the pinfall. After the match Mankind hands over the IC title belt to the Rock and raises his hands up in the air to much heat. In a post-match promo, the Rock says he's done what no one thought was possible and he defeated the Undertaker for the "one two three right in the middle of the ring". D-Generation X (Triple H (c), X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws) (w/Chyna) def. The NWA (Dan Severn, Jeff Jarrett, and the New Midnight Express) (w/Cornette) via pinfall in an Eight-man Tag match. Before the match took place, X-Pac was jumped by Dan Severn leaving him unable to compete (X-Pac probably couldn't wrestle yet because of his previous WCW contract). Even with the odds against DX, Triple H manages to get in the pedigree on Jarrett for the pinfall win. ________________________________________________ Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. Kane (w/Vince McMahon) in a First Blood MatchKane is in the ring first with Vince on the outside. Austin makes his way out to a big pop and RUSHES into the ring like he was the Warrior. Kane misses two clotheslines as Austin hits the ropes back and forth to jump on top of Kane to start punching him down on the mat as the crowd is on their feet. Austin won't give up. He tries to take off the mask to cut Kane open, but Kane starts to choke Austin. Austin counters and hits the ropes for another takedown, but Kane lands a belly-to-belly over his head. Kane is up and lands the chokeslam. Vince shouts "destroy him dammit". Kane goes to the outside and grabs a chair. He's about to land it, but Austin kicks Kane and lands the STUNNER! Austin grabs the chair as Kane sits up and swipes Austins' feet. Kane gets Austin to a corner and lands several elbows and irish whip to another corner for a clothesline, but Austin counters with a kick to the face. Austin gets to the middle ropes for a double axe handle and starts landing several punches, clotheslining Kane to the outside. Austin grabs the chair and goes after Kane. He even smashes Kane in the head with the chair, but Kane has yet to bleed, though it's hard to see at this point. Kane counters Austin and smashes him into the ringpost. Kane lands a chokeslam on the outside and Vince tells Kane to "cut him open dammit!". Kane lifts Austin up and grabs the chair, only for Austin to kick him and he starts to fight back. Austin rolls back into the ring to grab a breather. Kane is in as Austin hits the ropes only to be met with a big boot. Kane goes for the tombstone and lands it! Vince throws in another chair and Kane waits for Austin. Austin is trying to get back up and barely can. Kane swings at Austin, but Austin ducks only for the referee to be knocked down by the chair! Austin kicks Kane, and lands desperate punches. Kane fights back as the two go at it till Vince McMahon runs into the ring. Kane holds on to Austin who is hurt for Vince. Vince has a chair and swings it only to MISS and smashes Kane's forehead in the process! Kane is BLEEDING on Camera! Vince is shocked till Austin kicks Vince and lands the Stunner! Austin tries to get the referee up. Kane sits up and finds the chair. He smashes Austin in the head cutting Austin open! The referee is up and sees Austin bleeding first and CALLS for the bell! Winner: Kane via First Blood to become the NEW WWF ChampionJR on commentary is going nuts that Kane was cut open first. Kane is given the WWF title as Austin is finally up. Austin doesn't believe it for one bit and goes after Kane. He manages to clothesline Kane to the outside. Vince is on the outside as Kane helps him up. Vince gets extremely excited and jumps for joy as Austin watches in horror that the WWF title has been taken away from him with the PPV going off air.

- Kane becoming the new WWF Champion winning the First Blood Match beating Austin...Austin essentially was screwed yet again I mean Kane was bloody first Kane was busted open first but the referee obviously didn't see it well because of Vince getting involved but then Austin he is entitled to a rematch clause Austin has a rematch clause in his contract since he is or was the WWF Champion being the former champion entitles him to a rematch so it only begs the question of when Austin gets his rematch
- DX beating Team NWA...another WWF win yet again over NWA they should just go back to wherever it is they came from and stay there
- The Rock retaining his WWF Intercontinental Championship beating The Undertaker...well major assist goes to Mankind out of nowhere Mankind shows up and costs The Undertaker the match well I wonder if we will get an explanation from Mankind as to why he did what he did? But more importantly The Rock never needed Mankind's help nor did he want it but I am sure Rock will probably say that he didn't need Mankind or that he had no idea Mankind would show up like it even would matter but this builds up towards Mankind/Undertaker King of the Ring 1998 Hell in a Cell...Mankind getting thrown off of the Cell not once but twice
- The New Nation gains a new member and it is none other than Flash Funk...that is shocking to say the least

RAW is WAR June 1st, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross, Michael Cole, and Jerry LawlerVince McMahon is in the ring with his stooges and the new WWF Champion, Kane. Vince: (has a smirk) Can you all feel it in the air? It's like a giant breath of fresh air has swept the WWF. Last night I know what you're all thinking. But I wanted to make it clear that there is a long-standing tradition in the World Wrestling Federation, in that a referee's decision is always final. So therefore, you are looking at the NEW WWF Champion, Kane! (gets a lot of heat) I told you Steve Austin, I told you what I'd do to you. After all that you've done to me, after everything that has happened, Austin you can go to hell because there is no way I'm going to give you a title shot or a rematch. The Titantron turns on and it's Paul Bearer. Paul: Ooo yess I want my son back! That was supposed to be my moment! You ruined it Mr. McMahon! You ruined a father-son moment! The day when my Kane would become the WWF Champion, he was supposed to be with me by his side! Vince: Why don't you just shut your mouth! Kane works for me dammit and I will deliver my promises to him... Paul: I won't let you have that moment! For decades I have waited for it! Waiting for my Kane to win the WWF Championship! I won't give it to you so easily! The camera pans with SHANE MCMAHON all tied up in a chair! His mouth is taped with Duct tape!Paul: Ooo yess just as you took my son away from me, I have taken yours! Vince: No!! Dammit no!!! Paul: If you want to see your son again, release my Kane because he did not win it the right way! He never won it the right way! That was supposed to be my moment! (maniac laugh as the screen shuts off) Vince: No no!! That's my son!!! SHANE!!!! GLASS SHATTERS and Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his way out to a big pop.Vince: Dammit Austin, I don't have time for you! Austin: If everyone wants me to open up the biggest pile of cans of whoop ass on Vince McMahon give me a hell ya! (fans respond) Vince you know it, the whole world knows it that the stipulation last night was first blood, the first blood that was drawn loses the match. Kane is no more the WWF Champion than that fat ass Sgt. Slobber is! Run your damn company the right way you sob! Vince: I need my son! Dammit! Austin: Here's a funny thing, I really don't care about this family drama you got going here between you and Paul Bearer, but Stone Cold knows where Shane McMahon is! Vince: Where is he dammit I swere Austin I'll... Austin: Why don't you just hand me over the WWF title belt, declare Kane the one who was cut open first and I'll tell you where he is... Vince: (talks to his stooges) Dammit Austin...as Owner of the WWF...in all fairness...dammit...(talks to Howard Finkel) Finkel: (the bell rings) The Owner of the WWF has overturned the decision in the Flood Blood from the Over the Edge PPV last night and therefore, the winner of the match and STILL World Wrestling Federation Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin!Vince: Alright Kane just hand it over dammit. Kane doesn't want to give up the belt. Austin gets in a lowblow on Vince and starts the assault on Kane! Kane however chokes Austin and lands the Chokeslam to the outside! Austin is badly hurt and needs medical attention. Vince: Dammit Kane he knew where Shane was! Ahhh!!!! I should fire your ass right now! Hand over that belt! Kane looks at Vince, gets in his face and hands over the belt ___________________________________________________________ Chicaco Street Fight: LOD 2000 (w/Sunny) fought the DOA to a No Contest. The fight was in the back as an enraged Undertaker makes his way to the arena to look for Mankind. Taker decides to start beating up on everyone in the street fight ending it in a No Contest. Steve Blackman (c) def. Papi Chulo (aka Aguila without the mask) via pinfall to retain the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. Kai En Tai with Taka watched the match, but didn't get involved. KOTR Tournament Match: Marc Mero (w/Jacqueline) def. D-Lo Brown (w/Faarooq) via pinfall. Mero introduced Jacqueline as his new valet and girlfriend saying she understands what it is to be a "WoMAN", to "serve men" and that Sable is just a dirty whore. ____________________________________________________________ Stone Cold is recovering in the back, as Vince and his stooges confront Austin. Vince: Please Austin I agreed to my end of the bargain, now do yours! Austin: Where is my title? Vince: (angrily hands over the WWF title belt to Austin) Here you go Austin! Austin: (gets up) I lied....(Austin taps Vince's groin and leaves) Vince is in pain and shouts "again!" and doesn't believe it as we go to a commercial break. ____________________________________________________________ The Undertaker finds Vince McMahon in his office asking for Mankind. Vince begs the Undertaker to help him find Shane and he will deliver Mankind however and wherever he wants. Taker says he'll find him. KOTR Tournament Match: Mark Henry (w/Faarooq) def. Terry Funk via pinfall.
Triple H (c) (w/Chyna and X-Pac) def. Jeff Jarrett (w/Lee) via pinfall to retain the WWF European Championship
The Rock (c) def. Two Cold Scorpio (w/New Nation) via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship. The New Nation try to surround the Rock after the match, but he manages to get away in time. The Undertaker finds Shane McMahon in a boiler room and unties him as Shane runs off. Suddenly Mankind jumps the Undertaker from behind and gets in the mandible claw as RAW goes off air.

So Kane was only the WWF Champion for 24 hours? Kane didn't really lose the belt he was forced to surrender the title so the way I see it Kane is still the WWF Champion and yeah Austin may have tricked Vince into giving him the title back but the way I see it Kane deserves a rematch for that title and seeing as how Vince was screwed by Austin I wonder what Vince is gonna do now?
Paul Bearer how did he even come across Shane McMahon to begin with? It was like Paul kidnapped Shane and was holding him hostage but then Taker finds Shane and then walks right into Mankind's trap so I wonder if Mankind was the one who had Shane this whole time?

RAW is WAR June 8th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Jerry LawlerThe Rock opens RAW with the IC title belt with him. Rock: The Rock is no doubt the most electrifying man in sports entertainment! I have done it, all by myself, without any help at all, without the so-called New Nation or any friend because at Over the Edge I pinned the Undertaker. A man who was seen as an unbeatable force to be reckoned with, I have done what most would say was the impossible. And now the Rock has set his eye on new gold. I am the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, and Stone Cold Steve Austin, I have my eyes set on the gold, the WWF Championship... Mankind makes his way out to a mixed reaction with "Mr. Socko".Mankind: Wait just a minute Rock, I thought we were friends. I think you should show some gratitude because at Over the Edge, it was I, Mankind who helped you defeat the Undertaker. Rock: I think your mistaken, it was the Rock who pinned the Undertaker. It was the Rock who gave lay the Smackdown on his candy ass. Mankind: No no no! Rock: Why don't you know your role and shut your mouth! Suddenly Mankind attacks the Rock! The Rock fires back, but Mankind gets in the Mandible claw as WWF Officials stop him. After a commercial break. Mankind challenges both the Rock and the Undertaker to a match. Val Venis def. Funaki (w/Kai En Tai) via pinfall. DX are in NYC as they get women to flash their breasts at them in front of a crowd who cheer on.KOTR Tournament Match: Dan Severn (w/Cornette) def. Scorpio (w/New Nation) via pinfall
LOD 2000 def. DoA (w/Chainz) via pinfall.DX are in the ring and start trashing several stables such as the New Nation, DoA, and Kai En Tai. The New Age Outlaws open a challenge to anyone in the back for the Tag titles. Too Much (Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor) make their way out as they laugh it off. Triple H, Chyna and X-Pac leave laughing at the prospect. Too Much def. The New Age Outlaws (c) via Countout. Outlaws retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. The Outlaws can't believe they lost the match to a bunch of "jabronis" even if it was a Countout. They start a beat down on Too Much, but Too Much run off through the crowd. Faarooq (w/New Nation) def. Goldust via pinfall. Vince McMahon makes his way out to the ring with his Stooges. Vince: Last week, Stone Cold Steve Austin practically had a gun to my head, demanding that I return the WWF Championship. But to be fair, because I am a fair man, I'm allowing him to continue on as Champion because at the King of the Ring, on June 28th, he'll have to defend his title against Kane in a HELL in a CELL match. Speaking of Hell in a Cell, quite frankly I believe we need another match. Because the Undertaker, who saved my son Shane last week, deserves what he wants the most, he will be facing off against Mankind in that very cell. Mankind makes his way out.Mankind: I know you want to reward the Undertaker in a match made in hell. I'm all fine for that. But I want to face someone else. Vince: Who in the hell do you think you are interrupting me, the owner of the WWF, Mr. McMahon. Mankind: Please Mr. McMahon, I want to face the Rock. I want a match with the Rock. Vince: You want a match with the Rock? Mankind: Yes sir, next week on RAW, please... Vince: (talks to his stooges laughing) You know what Mankind, I have a better idea. Not only will you face the Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match. You'll also face the Rock...the SAME night for the Intercontinental Championship. Mankind: (looks at the crowd) I don't know what to say to that... Vince: You come out here, interrupt me making demands that you don't deserve! You want the Rock you got him at King of the Ring. Mankind gets angry and gets in the mandible claw on Vince McMahon!!The Rock rushes out and attacks Mankind. They start firing fists back and forth till the lights go off and the Rock runs to Mr. McMahon and his stooges on the outside. The Undertaker runs down the aisle, only to be met with Mankind. Taker smashes Mankind into the railings and lands a chokeslam on the stage platform as it BREAKS apart and he goes down four feet under! RAW goes off air with Taker standing over him. King of the Ring 98 CURRENT CARD:
KOTR Tournament Semi Final Matches
The Rock (c) vs. Mankind for the WWF Intercontinental Championship
The Undertaker vs. Mankind in a Hell in a Cell Match
Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. Kane (w/Vince) in a Hell in a Cell Match for the WWF Championship

- Essentially Mankind is competing not once but twice at the King of the Ring PPV...he is in a WWF Intercontinental Championship match against The Rock and then competes right after in a Hell in a Cell Match with The Undertaker...I wonder if there will be anything left of Mankind after that? I mean Vince may as well have just stacked the deck against Mankind here
- Another Hell in a Cell Match here on PPV here at the 1998 King of the Ring...Austin competing in his 2nd Hell in a Cell Match ever having to defend the WWF Championship against Kane competing in his 2nd Hell in a Cell Match this whole year considering earlier in the year in 1998 he faced off against his brother The Undertaker at WrestleMania 14 inside Hell in a Cell and now months later he faces Austin in a HIAC with the title on the line but then again Vince and his stooges can't interfere in the match because in Hell in a Cell there is no way in and there is no way out no one can interfere it will just be Austin and Kane inside of there locked

But then I wonder about the 1998 King of the Ring tournament I mean who was even in the tournament? Like who were the 16 superstars in the Round of 16? Like who were the 8 superstars who made it to the Quarter-Finals? And or who are the superstars who made it to the Semi-Finals?
But whoever wins the 1998 King of the Ring I am sure who ever wins it will end up getting a WWF Championship match at SummerSlam 1998 against whoever the WWF Champion turns out to be

RAW is WAR June 15th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler and Michael ColeRAW opens with Paul Bearer in his home ranting about Vince McMahon and the WWF. Paul: You took my son away from me, and I would've never let Kane lose the WWF Championship! You couldn't even find me and if you think I'm done with... Suddenly, Kane appears out of nowhere in Paul's home! Paul: Kane! You're here! Kane grabs a hold of Paul, Paul begs Kane not too, but Kane chokes him out! Kane has a sinister look as he looks towards the camera and BREAKS it. _____________________________________________ The Rock (c) def. Vader via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship. A big win for the Rock who wins clean with the Rock Bottom. JR says that at King of the Ring, the Hell in a Cell match between the Undertaker and Mankind will happen before the match between the Rock and Mankind. Jeff Jarrett (w/Lee) def. Chainz via pinfall._____________________________________________ Stone Cold makes his way to the ring to a pop. Austin: So once again Vince McMahon wants to put me in the ring with the big red piece of trash Kane in that damnation called a Hell in a Cell. I've been through that abomination before and they say once you go in, it takes away a couple of years of your life. But that don't matter because I'm still the WWF Champion and I will leave the King of the Ring as the WWF Champion because that's the bottom line. Vince can do whatever he wants because there is... Vince: (makes his way out to the RAW platform with his stooges) So I can do whatever I want eh? Well Austin, I'm going to make it harder for you because the Special Guest Referee will be none other than...ME! (gets alot of heat) And as for tonight you're going to have to defend the WWF Championship against none other than the World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry. Austin looks pissed as Vince and his stooges laugh at Austin and leave._____________________________________________ Goldust def. Marc Mero (w/Jacqueline) via pinfall. Sable distracts Mero by flashing her undergarments as Goldust got the roll up victory. Mero is so sick of Sable that he challenges her to a match. Sable gets on the mic on the RAW platform and say she accepts as Lawler says "no those puppies! Don't do it Sable!" After a commercial break, Al Snow asks Sable if he can be by her side with "Head" in the match with Mero. Sable agrees,KOTR Tournament Match: Triple H def. X-Pac via Countout. Chyna was in a Neutral Corner. The match was set up by Sgt. Slaughter earlier in the night. It resulted in a bit of "testing each other out" as X-Pac even managed to get in a bulldog from the top rope impressing Triple H. However when X-Pac tries a high flying crossbody, Triple H gets out of the way and gets concerned with his friend. X-Pac tells Triple H to go back in for the countout as he tries to hold unto his hurt knee. Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) def. Mark Henry (w/New Nation) via DQ to retain the WWF Championship.
Despite the New Nation trying to help out Austin, Austin managed to get in the stunner on all members when they interfered in the match resulting in the DQ finish. Kane appears on the titantron after the match with Paul Bearer in a GRAVEYARD. Paul Bearer is begging for mercy from Kane. Vince McMahon is watching in the back enjoying it as Austin is watching it on the titantron. JR believes Kane is sick and twisted that he would do it to his own father and Lawler believes Kane isn't human. Kane throws Paul into an open grave and begins to slowly bury him alive as RAW goes off air!

- Kane buried his own father Paul Bearer alive...just goes to show us that Kane has no soul no conscience at all this is an unhinged Kane a demonic Kane I mean if his own father Paul Bearer couldn't control him then what makes Vince think that he can? I mean for all we know Kane could very well turn on Vince but then again Austin has to defend his WWF Championship against Kane in Hell in a Cell and if that wasn't bad enough the Special Guest Referee for that match is none other than Mr. McMahon himself...no way Austin walks out of the Cell as the champion especially with those odds it looks like the fix is in already
- I think Paul Bearer will be back soon but he will come back as a heel again but this time he will reunite with a newly turned heel Undertaker as Undertaker forms The Ministry of Darkness and Taker becomes Ministry Taker...I already see it happening it is just a matter of time but who will be in the Ministry of Darkness? I can see Faarooq and Bradshaw being in it as the 2 of them become the Acolytes and Viscera ends up joining as well as Dennis Knight well Phinneas Godwinn who ends up becoming Midian and The Brood of Edge, Christian and Gangrel
- Just like I can see The Corporation forming with Vince, Shane, Patterson, Brisco, The Rock, Boss Man, Test, Shamrock and Kane

But what I can't wait for is WWF Survivor Series 1998 in this diary and why? Because of the Deadly Game tournament to crown a new WWF Champion because that is what actually happened at Survivor Series 1998 so if it happens here to crown a new WWF Champion I wonder who will end up in the tournament

King of the Ring June 28th, 1998 Civic Arena, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler
PART 1 of 2The Undertaker opens the PPV with Paul Bearer by his side. Taker says that he had to dig Paul Bearer up from the grave that Kane made for him and that Paul has redeemed himself to the "Lord of Darkness" and surrendered his "will" to him (aka. Paul Bearer is now more of a "zombie" that now does Taker's bidding). Taker says tonight, Mankind will meet his maker when he rests in peace. KOTR Semi Final - Triple H (c) (w/Chyna) def. Jeff Jarrett (w/Lee) via pinfall to qualify for the FINALS. Triple H gets a clean pin on Jeff and ends the match wit ha pedigree. Kai En Tai (Taka, Funaki, Teioh, and Togo) def. Steve Blackman (c), Val Venis & The Headbangers via pinfall in an Eight-Man Tag Match. Taka got in frankensteiner from the top rope on Trasher to win the match for his team. __________________________________________________ On Shotgun Saturday Night last night, Mero forced Jacqueline to make a sandwich for her and threw it in the trash when it was "too cold" Marc Mero (w/Jacqueline) def. Sable (w/Al Snow) via submission in an Intergender Match.
Before the match, Sable demanded Al Snow not to bring out "Head" to the ring as it "frightens her". Mero came out first as Jacqueline serves Mero's every wish. . Sable came out in wrestling gear with Al Snow by her side. Mero overpowered Sable during the match, but she held her guard up and tried to "outbox" Mero even though it was a wrestling match. Late in the match, Sable gets in the "Sable Bomb" on Mero for the pin to two, which was at the time seen as a great feat for her. Sable countered a few moves, and manages to get in the ankle lock. Mero almost submitted, but Al Snow drags Sable to the outside and SLAPS her in the face hard. He throws her in for Mero to get in an armbar to make her submit. JR says it was humiliating as Mero gets on the mic. Mero: (Al Snow and Jacqueline join him) I told you Sable, I told you women can't do anything (gets heat mostly from the female crowd). Women these days are bossy, you didn't want "Head" to show up tonight, and I bet for Al Snow it would give more pleasure to him than you ever could because your a dirty skank. (Sable gets in a corner). Jacqueline show her what a real woman is. Jacqueline starts to beat her down and gets in the camel clutch as WWF Officials break it. __________________________________________________ "Lord of Darkness" The Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) def. Mankind via pinfall in a Hell in a Cell Match.
No change needed as the match went exactly as it did and becomes one of the most famous matches in history. Less than two minutes in, Taker threw Mankind from 16-feet ceiling of the cell unto the Spanish announcers table. Moments later Taker chokeslams Mankind through the top of the cell; legitimately knocking him unconscious. At the end a standing ovation occurs from the crowd and the difference here is that the Undertaker shows a bit of respect as he helps Mankind up to be taken to the back by medical personel. JR says Taker is showing "sportsmanship". KOTR Semi Final - Ken Shamrock def. Dan Severn (w/Cornette) via pinfall to qualify in the FINALS. Dan had Shamrock down for a hold for a whole minute, but he manages to counter it with a pinfall win. The New Age Outlaws (c) (w/Chyna) def. Two Much via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. Road Dogg and Billy Gunn completely dominate the match and don't sell as though Too Much were just simply jobbers. Road Dogg gets in a clean pin over Scott Taylor to win. Chyna joins in after the match as they get on the mic saying they were "playing" Too Much the whole time. JR thinks its twisted that they would do that give these two young superstars hope and crushing it. TO BE CONTINUED....

King of the Ring 1998Part 2 of 21998 King of the Ring FINALS: Triple H (w/Chyna) def. Ken Shamrock via pinfall after Triple H lands two pedigrees for a clean finish. After the match, the coronation ceremony takes place (even though it didn't originally happen, here it still does) as Triple H sits on his throne with the DX army by his side. __________________________________________________________ The Rock (c) vs. Mankind for the WWF Intercontinental ChampionshipThe Rock makes his way out first with the IC title. The Rock awaits for Mankind who doesn't show up after two requests and gets on the mic. The Rock: Before you call this match a forfeit, I have to say that the Rock is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, the people's champion and tonight is proof that Mankind doesn't have the "balls" to man up and challenge me in the ring. It doesn't matter if you get thrown off a cage or get chokeslammed to hell, a match is a match and can you smell what the....(Mankind's music turns on and he walks out!) The Rock is in shock as Mankind gets to the ring with a huge pop from the crowd and the bell rings. Mankind is in and he pushes down the Rock! The Rock runs to the outside to argue with the fans. Mankind calls him back in. The Rock gets on the apron talking trash. Mankind misses a clothesline as the Rock gets in the Rock Bottom. The Rock stands over Mankind as he gets huge heat and JR says he feels sorry for Mankind. The Rock isn't done with Mankind as he goes for the "People's Elbow" and before he lands it the lights go off! The lights are back on and the Rock looks frightened wondering where the Undertaker is as Mankind gets a roll up for the win!!Winner: Mankind via pinfall to become the NEW WWF Intercontinental Champion
The Rock doesn't believe it as Mankind rolls out of the ring with the IC title belt and leaves to the back with the Rock flipping out in the ring. __________________________________________________________ Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. Kane in a Hell in a Cell Match for the WWF Championship with SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: Vince McMahonThe cell is back down and Vince McMahon is in the ring with his referee gear. Kane makes his way out first followed by Austin who starts to attack Kane right away. Austin clotheslines Kane to the outside and GOES AFTER VINCE! JR says Vince must regret the decision to become referee. Austin starts to pummel Vince and lands the Stunner! JR says there is no DQ and Vince can't do anything about it. Kane gets back in and starts landing elbows on Austin. Austin fires back, but Kane gets him into a corner for a big clothesline. Moments later, Kane lands the chokeslam into the cage door as it breaks up. Austin and Kane are now fighting on the outside as Vince is trying to recover all this time. Patterson walks out in referee gear to finally replace Vince who is on the outside being looked at by Brisco. Kane and Austin are at the top of the ceiling although a piece of it is still broken. Austin fires back at Kane and Kane tries to chokeslam Austin down, but Austin fights back and starts to climb down on the other side. Kane follows him till Austin smashes Kane unto the cage near the top and now he falls to JR's announce table! Austin gets Kane back in and in the ring lands the stunner. He looks at Patterson and lands the Stunner on him! Vince gets furious and makes his way in. Kane sits up as Austin stuns Kane a second time! Vince is in the ring and Austin flips him off as he goes for the pin. Vince shakes his head no and refuses to pin. Austin gets pissed and punches out Vince gets knocked out as Kane sits up and gets Austin into a chokehold, but Austin kicks him once again for a THIRD STUNNER. Austin grabs Vince's hands and smashes it down on the mat for the one..two..three. Austin pulls on Vince's hair forcing him to call the bell. Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin via pinfall to retain the WWF ChampionshipAustin celebrates his win with steveweisers to end the PPV.

- Austin retains his WWF Championship inside Hell in a Cell not only against Kane but with Vince as the referee in the match I was expecting Austin to get screwed here but somehow he manages to walk out champion all be it it took how many Stunners for him to finish Kane and then using Vince's hands to count the pin after Vince was already knocked out...what a way for Austin to turn it around to his advantage to retain his title but that means Austin he is 2-0 in Hell in a Cell matches while Kane inside Hell in a Cell matches he is 0-2 I mean he has been in how many Hell in a Cell matches already this year?
- Triple H becoming the 1998 King of the Ring beating Ken Shamrock in the Finals to win the King of the Ring with DX (Chyna, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and X-Pac) all by his side I mean with Triple H winning the tournament it no doubt has to help elevate Triple H here in the WWF
- Mankind winning the WWF Intercontinental Championship some how by some miracle he beats The Rock to become the new champion...I mean how is Mankind even walking much less even competing in the 2nd match considering in Hell in a Cell he was thrown off of the Cell by Undertaker not once but twice and then he manages to come out and beat Rock somehow...I wonder how Mankind is even moving the man should be at least half-dead the man almost died in Hell in a Cell literally he has to no doubt have severe injuries I mean how can he even defend the title? I mean at best he should have internal injuries like internal bleeding and broken bones all over like how can he be in any condition to wrestle again
- Well major assist goes to The Undertaker...The Lord of Darkness Ministry Undertaker mind games with the lights going out and Rock being distracted with Mankind taking advantage I wonder what that means? I mean Undertaker is more or less a heel well he is Ministry Taker now so why would he help Mankind to win his match much less why would he interfere in a match that had nothing to do with him at all whatsoever
- Mankind/Taker is still one of my favorite Hell in A Cell matches of all time because of the build up but also because of the commentary from JR and Lawler which is what made the match all the more enjoyable for me
- The Ministry of Darkness is forming especially now that Paul Bearer is at Undertaker's side I wonder if we will even get an explanation from these 2? I mean how are they side by side once again when Bearer was doing everything he could to destroy The Undertaker

As far as the Undertaker's involvement, he found respect for Mankind for what he went through here and since the Rock-Taker Feud is connected with Mankind, naturally he'd want the Rock to lose since in his eyes the feud never ended and hates the Rock more.

RAW is WAR June 29th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler Champion Roll Call:
WWF Champion: Stone Cold Steve Austin WWF Intercontinental Champion: Mankind WWF Tag Team Champions: The New Age Outlaws WWF European Champion: Triple H WWF Light Heavyweight Champion: Steve Blackman
An angry Vince McMahon makes it to the ring with Brisco. Vince: Last night, Stone Cold Steve Austin assaulted me right in this very ring, forced my hand to end the match. Stone Cold is the worst thing that has ever happened to the WWF and I've had enough of him. So tonight I'm giving Triple H, your 1998 King of the Ring Winner a shot at the WWF Championship. But this won't be a singles match, no no, this is going to be a Triple Threat match, with the leader of the New Nation, Faarooq will also be in the main event tonight and Austin, if you lay a hand on an official dammit you'll be fired! As for Kane, well Kane I'm sorry, but I can't deliver the Undertaker to you because you failed last night. But as merciful as I am dammit what the hell, you'll have other chances. The Rock makes his way out to the RAW stage platform: Rock: The Rock saw how Mankind stole my Intercontinental Championship belt. How the Undertaker screwed the Rock. Mr. McMahon, with all due respect, as a man of your stature, I humbly ask you, the greatest promoter there ever has been for a rematch with Mankind next week on RAW. Vince: (has a smile) You know Rock I've seen you rise to stardom in such a short period of time, dammit what the hell, you got yourself a match next week on RAW (Brisco talks to Vince and Vince "nods"). Steven Regal def. Darren Drozdov via pinfall________________________________________________ Marc Mero (w/Jacqueline and Al Snow) def. Steve Blackman (c) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF Light Heavyweight Champion. With Jacqueline and Snow helping out Mero by beating up on Blackman on the outside, Mero got in the shooting star press for the pin and win. Mero celebrates the win after the match with Al Snow who has a "No Maam" t-shirt on (beginning a new stable in the WWF) Mero gets on the mic: Mero: This has to be the greatest moment in my life, last night I proved women can't beat a man in a match and Sable is a beaten women. And second, I am now the new Light Heavyweight Champion! (gets heat) Snow: Sable, you may be bodacious to some people out here, but you're a bit#h. She (Head) deserved to be by my side but you wouldn't want her around. So I'm saying No Maam, we don't want to listen to you anymore. We've had enough of women like you. So go back home, grow a stache and never come back because women don't belong except in servitude to a man. ________________________________________________ Val Venis def. Dick Togo (w/Yamaguchi and Mrs. Yamaguchi-San) via pinfall. After the match Val hits on Mrs. Yamaguchi-San. Ken Shamrock def. Bradshaw via submission. Note: There is no WWF Brawl For All happening in this diary.LOD 2000 (w/Paul Ellering) def. The Godwinns via pinfall________________________________________________ Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. Triple H (c) (w/DX) vs. Faarooq (w/New Nation) in a Triple Threat Match for the WWF Championship. European Championship not on the line.Faarooq makes his way out with D-Lo, The Godfather (no longer Kama, but doesn't have his "hoes" yet), Henry, and Scorpio. Triple H comes out next with X-Pac, Chyna and the Outlaws. Austin makes his way out with the WWF title with him to a pop and right away goes after Triple H. Faarooq attacks Austin, but Austin goes after Faarooq now. An irish whip and Triple H kicks Austin for the early pedigree! Faarooq clotheslines Triple H and they go at it outside. Austin is in the ring and notices that the New Nation and DX start an all out brawl. Austin sits on the top of the ropes and looks a the "time" as he shakes his head. He tells the referee not to count as Austin rolls to the outside and goes on the offensive on BOTH DX and the New Nation! Austin is ruthless and manages to toss in Faarooq. Faarooq looks beaten up till Austin kicks him and lands the stunner for the pin and win. Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin via pinfall to retain the WWF ChampionshipTriple H is with the DX on the outside as the New Nation go check up on Faarooq. Austin celebrates as Triple H looks pissed that he lost his chance for the WWF title as RAW goes off air.
