RAW is WAR July 6th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler
JR says that later tonight, Vince McMahon will be announcing the No. 1 Contender for the WWF Championship for Fully Loaded: In Your House. RAW opens to the "New Nation" theme, but instead of the actual Nation, DX shows up to parody the New Nation. Triple H is Faarooq, Billy Gunn is the Godfather, Road Dogg is D-Lo, X-Pac is Henry (has a "fat" suit on) and Chyna is "Scorpio". Triple H (as Faarooq): My racist brothers, oops did I say that right, my brothers o yes the truth of the matter of fact is, I cost Triple H the WWF Championship last week on RAW. And I would like to say I'm sorry. Because I know for a fact that he's a better man then me. If I stepped in the ring with Triple H, the King of the Ring... Billy Gunn (as Godfather): All ya need is the godfather to send him some some ring rats, and that'll weaken him Faarooq! X-Pac (as Henry): I'm the world's weakest man, I mean I'm overweight, I can barely move... Triple H: That is the truth and I just don't get how you could fit all that girth and be in a WWF ring at the same time because let's all face the truth, the DX are the best and the New Nation, I got two words for ya...SUCK IT! ___________________________________________ Savio Vega def. Brakkus via pinfallA segment in the back shows Goldust with Marlena, taking off his gear and throws it in the trash. He no longer has his gold-face paint. Marlena wants to know what's going on, but Goldust says he wants nothing to do with her anymore. Ken Shamrock def. Jeff Jarrett (w/Lee) via Submission
Vader def. Bradhsaw via pinfall
DoA def. The Headbangers via pinfall
D-Lo Brown (w/Godfather) def. Terry Funk via pinfall after Godfather gets in a lowblow on Funk for Brown to get the pinfall win. ___________________________________________ Vince McMahon is in the back to announce the No. 1 Contender for the WWF Championship for Fully Loaded: In Your House. Triple H gets in Vince's face and demands that he get a match with Austin. Vince says that he has decided that next week on RAW, a 20-Man Battle Royal will take place and the winner will get a shot at the title. Triple H will be one of the participants. Triple H is satisfied and says he'll win it. Mankind (c) vs. The Rock for the WWF Intercontinental Championship
The Rock is out waiting in the ring. Mankind makes his way out to a pop with the IC title. The Rock gets in the offensive, but Mankind fights back. Moments later, the Undertaker makes his way out with the "zombie" Paul Bearer. Taker gets in the ring and starts attacking the Rock for the DQ. Winner: The Rock via DQ. Mankind retains the IC title. Mankind runs off as Taker gets in a chokeslam on the Rock. The Rock rolls out hurt as Taker calls for him in the ring with RAW going off air.

- Austin with yet another WWF Championship title defense beats the 1998 King of the Ring winner the WWF European Champion Triple H of DX and beats New Nation leader Faarooq in a Triple Threat Match...I mean it is like Austin has to defend the title night in night out but he always manages to find a way to win beat the odds as it were but I mean Vince he tries to take the title off of Austin but it always manages to backfire
- Marc Mero becomes the new WWF Light Heavyweight Champion beating Steve Blackman...I mean after that I wonder what is next for Mero? I mean I wonder if this Sable feud with Mero will continue?
- Rock getting his rematch for the WWF Intercontinental Championship against the new WWF Intercontinental Champion Mankind...I mean the injuries Mankind sustained I mean he should be out of action for at least a while but yet he has to defend the title next week against The Rock yeah that is like shooting fish in a barrel for The Rock

- Ministry Taker The Lord of Darkness interferes in the main event both he and Paul Bearer as they show up as Rock is distracted and Mankind yet again takes advantage to get the win retaining his WWF Intercontinental Championship...I mean why is Taker helping Mankind? I mean given everything Mankind has done to The Undertaker given everything Undertaker has done to Mankind he almost killed the man literally in Hell in a Cell back at King of the Ring and now he is helping him to retain his title against The Rock like seriously I don't get it at all...especially if The Undertaker and Paul Bearer are supposed to be heels and so is The Rock
- A 20 Man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal to determine who will face Austin for the WWF Championship at Fully Loaded In Your House...I wonder who else will be in the Battle Royal especially if Triple H is in it? I mean I can expect DX members Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and X-Pac all to be in this Battle Royal but who else? Kane I can see him being in it as well as all members of The New Nation and Undertaker, Rock, Mankind, Goldust, Mero, etc.
- Goldust leaving Marlena...he is bound to become The Artist Formerly Known As Goldust

RAW is WAR July 13th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler and Shawn Michaels Champion Roll Call:
WWF Champion: Stone Cold Steve Austin WWF Intercontinental Champion: Mankind WWF Tag Team Champions: The New Age Outlaws WWF European Champion: Triple H WWF Light Heavyweight Champion: Marc MeroRAW opens with Shawn Michaels making a rare appearance to do commentary. Later when asked about Triple H he keeps quiet about it and the DX. 20-Man Battle Royal to determine the No. 1 Contender for the WWF Championship. All participants are in the ring at once. Participants: Triple H, X-Pac, Faarooq, Mark Henry, Kane, The Undertaker, The Rock, Marc Mero, Al Snow, Jeff Jarrett, Val Venis, Ken Shamrock, Mankind, Terry Funk, Dan Severn, Dustin Runnels, Vader, Bradshaw, Savio Vega, and Chainz. Triple H goes after Faarooq. Kane goes after Mankind and the Undertaker. The Rock joins with Kane attacks the Undertaker. Shamrock goes after Dan. Vader goes after Bradshaw as the battle royal goes on. The first to go is Al Snow, Terry Funk, Jeff Jarret and Chainz. The Final Four are: Kane, Undertaker, Mankind and Triple H. GLASS SHATTERS and Stone Cold Steve Austin runs out with the WWF title. Vince doesn't get why he's here and starts shouting. Austin gets in the ring and starts to beat down on all four. Austin throws Mankind over the ropes. Vince demands Austin to leave, as WWF Officials try to get him out, but can't. Austin attacks Kane, hits the ropes for a clothesline takedown to the outside. The Undertaker chokes Austin, but Austin kicks him for the Stunner! Triple H tosses the Undertaker out. Austin kicks Triple H and STUNNER! Austin throws out Triple H. Winner: No ContestVince is furious and gets in the ring as Austin gets on the mic. Austin: I have no problem opening up a can of whoop ass on any of these 20 superstars in the ring, but what I got a problem with is the fact that you've tried everything to take away my WWF title, and I just don't trust you. The bottom line is one way or another you'll either screw me whether it's having one of those jackasses with you referee a match or you'd call for the bell when someone's got me in a hold because Stone Cold doesn't play this way. I want a match with anyone fair and square. But if you won't have it dammit Vince let's go ahead, Austin vs. McMahon at Fully Loaded, who wants me to open up a can of whoop ass on Vince McMahon give me a hell ya (crowd chants hell ya), you heard'um Vince. Vince: (gets pissed off on the outside and grabs a mic near the stage platform) You want a match, you got it! JR: (on commentary) Vince McMahon just named himself the No. 1 Contender! Ba-god-almighty! Vince McMahon has no business being in the main event! Hawk (w/Paul Ellering) def. Skull via pinfall_______________________________________________ After a commercial break, Shane McMahon comes into Vince's office. Shane: Dad this has gotten out of hand. Remember what happened the last time? Triple H: (storms in) I was the last man standing Vince, I want a title shot. Vince: Hold on guys look, Shane your my son, I love you, but dammit don't ever... and I mean ever tell me what to do. Triple H, you deserve a title shot there is no question about that, your time will come I promise, but I got something for you at Fully Loaded you bring out your DX Army and step in the ring with the New Nation in an eight-man tag. Brisco: Don't worry Mr. McMahon, we've got the best trainers lined up for you. The New Age Outlaws (c) def. Kai En Tai (Togo and Teioh) via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team ChampionshipsVal Venis def. Funaki via pinfall. After the match, Taka Michinoku starts to assault Venis and he's doing it for his "sexual harrassment" of Mrs. Yamaguchi-san. Venis runs off as the Kai En Tai gang up on him and beat him down. _______________________________________________ No MaaM (Marc Mero, Al Snow and Jacqueline) come out and get on the mic. They start talking trash about how Women don't cook these days and it's that reason that men are becoming more outta shape. They say that women are "takin our jobs", but that they'll never take a wrestlers job, because nobody wants to watch Women's wrestling. Sable makes her way out alone and says that she'll bring back women wrestling and she'll prove that she can, but it'll be her own way. She challenges Jacqueline to a "Bikini" Contest at Fully Loaded. Mero trashes Sable saying that only a skank like her would come up with a match like that, but since Jacqueline is more beautiful than Sable, "HE" will accept the challenge. Sable starts talking about unfair treatment of women around the world, till Dustin Runnels shows up in a suit. He gets on the mic and says that Marlena is the cause of bringing down Goldust. He says that the "bible" teaches that women must serve their man and that Marc Mero is right about everything (he gets heat from the crowd). Sable tells him off and says that Marlena and her may not have seen eye to eye in the past, but she was the best thing Goldust ever had. Dustin "SLAPS" her in the face. Sable looks back and CLOTHESLINES Dustin! Jacqueline starts the assault on Sable, till Sable rips her garment revealing her Bikini! Lawler goes nuts about "puppies" as she runs off with the rest of No MaaM as RAW goes off air.

- Austin vs McMahon at Fully Loaded I wonder if the WWF Championship will be on the line? If it is then I know Vince is going to try to screw Austin out of the title and Vince ends up becoming champion and if that happens I know a lot of superstars are going to want to gun for Mr. McMahon if that happens

RAW is WAR June 20th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler
The Undertaker makes his way to RAW as Kane stands in front of him. He looks at Paul Bearer who is practically zombie that stands there with the urn in his hands and doesn't say a word at all. Kane: (voice box) What did you do to my father? Undertaker: You're the one who buried him....he is mine, and serves me alone. Taker leaves as Kane looks towards them. Kevin Kelly gets to Kane and asks him how he feels about his match with Ken Shamrock tonight to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWF IC title. Kane gives him a cold stare and leaves. The New Age Outlaws (c) def. The Quebecers via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships
Steve Blackman def. Jeff Jarrett via pinfall
Kane def. Ken Shamrock via pinfall to become the No. 1 Contender for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Shamrock was unable to tame the big red machine, as Kane came out the winner with the chokeslam and the tombstone combination. Backstage the Stooges and Shane are talking to Vince McMahon about his plans for Fully Loaded. Vince has been in the gym day in and day out working out to get ready. Shane is worried that Vince could get hurt, but Vince says he has a "Secret Weapon" that he'll bring to Fully Loaded and the world will finally see Stone Cold fall (laughs like a maniac). The Undertaker (w/Paul) def. Terry Funk via pinfall. The Rock watched the match from the RAW stage platform, but didn't want to interfere. Animal fought Skull to a Double DQ. Mankind (c) def. - Vince McMahon's secret weapon I wonder who it will be?
- Kane as the #1 Contender for the WWF Intercontinental Championship...a Kane/Mankind feud I can actually get behind that
- The Rock vs The Undertaker is basically a heel vs heel feud since both men are heels but who do the fans hate more? I mean even if The Rock tries to do anything to Taker he has his Ministry or he is forming a Ministry so it only begs the question of who will join

Fully Loaded: In Your House July 26th, 1998 Selland Arena, Fresno, California Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler
Val Venis def. Taka Michinoku (w/Yamaguchi and Mrs. Yamaguchi-san) via pinfall with the Money Shot. A straight-forward match that ends with Kai En Tai running out to go after Val Venis, but Val leaves through the crowd. JR says that they're not yet done with Val after Val blew a kiss to Mrs. Yamaguchi-san. The Disciples of Apocalypse def. LOD 2000 (w/Paul Ellering) via pinfall in a Tag-team Tornado Match. The match has no tags as all four competitors are in the ring at once. Despite LOD dominating a part of the match, Ellering, who was their original manager betrays the duo as he knocks down Animal with the ring bell on the outside when Animal was hanging on the ropes for 8-Ball to get in the pin and win. "Lord of Darkness" The Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) def. The Rock via DQ. Despite a fast pace match, Taker almost ended the match with a tombstone till a run in ended the match in a DQ. Mabel makes his return to the WWF and attacks the Undertaker giving the Rock time to leave. He lands the big splash with his 485-pound girth. Kane def. Mankind (c) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF Intercontinental Champion. Mankind attempts to take down Kane early on, but Kane overpowers him two minutes in as the big red machine gets in the chokeslam-tombstone combo for the pin and win. After the match, Kane is in the back with the IC title meeting Vince McMahon who is preparing for his match. Vince says he's "proud" of Kane and that soon he will have his vengeance. Jacqueline (w/No MaaM = Mero, Snow and Dustin) def. Sable (w/Marlena) in a Bikini Contest with Jerry Lawler as Judge.
Sable made a surprise by bringing in Marlena. The contest went on with Sable going barebreasted though with "painted hands". Lawler who went nuts about "puppies" has to disqualify her because she wasn't wearing a full bikini. Jacqueline shows her bikini off and celebrates with No MaaM for winning. The DX Army (Triple H (c), X-Pac, the New Age Outlaws (c)) (w/Chyna) def. The New Nation (Faarooq, D-Lo Brown, The Godfather, and Mark Henry) (w/Scorpio) via pinfall in an Eight-Man Tag match. Triple H pedigrees Faarooq and gets in the pinfall victory. After the match, the New Nation start arguing amongst each other as Faarooq who is up again tries to calm his members down. _____________________________________________________________________ Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. Vince McMahon (w/"Secret Weapon" and Stooges) for the WWF ChampionshipAustin makes his way out first as JR notices that the champ usually gets in last, but this must be the work of Vince. Vince makes his way out apparently with his stooges (doesn't have a theme song yet) to alot of heat. Vince is on the outside and delays the match for Austin. Austin gets annoyed as he starts "kicking the turnbuckle" and tries to run to Vince only to "fall" and "twist his ankle". Austin shouts in a lot of pain. Vince looks excited as Shane runs out to stop him, but Vince threatens that he'll fire his own son from the WWF if he tries to stop him. Austin is in a corner in a lot of pain as Vince runs in the ring and finally starts to kick Austin. Austin slowly gets up and grabs Vince's foot. Austin has him in the middle of the ring and it looks like Austin was lying about his "ankle injury". Vince begs for mercy as Austin kicks Vince in the groin! The bell rings and Austin is on fire, getting McMahon to the corner to a big pop as the crowd is on their feet for this one. Austin won't give up as he goes to the outside and starts to chase the Stooges who RUN to the back leaving Vince behind! Vince is up and flips off Austin. Austin runs in as Vince tries to punch out Austin. Austing brawls it up and kicks him for a BIG STUNNER! Vince bounces so hard that he knocks down the ref. Vince is outcold till suddenly a hooded figure in red runs out and JR is going crazy on the mic "I can't believe it! I can't believe it what is he doing here!" It's Dr. Death Steve Williams who runs out and gets in the ring. He spears Austin and gets to the top rope for a flying shoulderblock. He gets in three backbreakers in a row and lands a huge lariat that sends Austin flipping to the outside. Austin sells it really well. JR hypes up Dr. Death as "the Undefeated" (kayfabe, as he lost once in the last decade, but WWF here doesn't recognize that loss). Dr. Death goes to the outside and starts beating up on Austin and slamming him on the steel steps till the referee is up. Vince gets into the corner as the referee counts Austin out. Winner: Vince McMahon via Countout. Stone Cold retains the WWF ChampionshipVince has a huge smirk as he celebrates big time in the ring. Austin is still unconscious on the outside as Dr. Death runs to the back. The Stooges make it back out with Shane with a "baloons/graffiti" falling from the ceiling and pyros exploding throughout the arenea as though it's the greatest WWF victory in history. The Stooges lift Vince up in the air as he celebrates as the PPV goes off air.

- Yeah Vince McMahon may have won the match but let's be honest he didn't even win the WWF Championship Austin is still the champion but still Vince in the record book it will show that he beat Austin all be it by a fluke countout but still Vince the whole match was getting his ass beat he was getting it kicked from pillar to post until the secret weapon showed up and it turns out to be none other than Dr Death Steve Williams...I admit I was shocked I was not expecting it to be him but why Dr. Death?
- DX beating The New Nation...I mean if DX could beat them then who can stop DX at this point? I mean the New Nation at this point may as well break up I mean it was even a mistake to even put this group back together or try to anyway
- The Undertaker beating The Rock all be it by DQ...I mean Mabel returning well Viscera returning and attacking The Undertaker I wonder why? Why go after The Lord of Darkness? I don't get that at all
- Bikini contest I love it...Jacqueline wins it by beating Sable but this bikini contest probably the most sexiest and hottest segment how Lawler didn't die when he saw those puppies LOL LMAO
- Mankind losing the WWF Intercontinental Championship to Kane and Kane becoming the new champion was inevitable given Mankind's injuries ever since King of the Ring

It's one of the worst concepts ever and I'm glad I didn't include it in the diary. Since there is no Brawl for All, this is a better way to introduce him. The Rock uses people just as he used Mankind, now he's using Mabel as he said weeks back that he has "allies" and doesn't need the Nation.

RAW is WAR July 27th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry LawlerSunday Night Heat is advertised for its first episode, debuting this Sunday. Vince McMahon makes his way out with his Stooges and Shane. Vince: (has a smirk) Last night the whole world saw it, Vince McMahon beat Stone Cold (gets a lot of heat). That's right I beat Stone Cold Steve Austin right in this very ring. The next time Stone Cold wants to mess with me in the ring, he'll lose more than a match that I can guaran-damn-tee. So Austin, your luck is changing. Your end is near that I can smell it...(laughs) I get what the Rock means right I mean... Glass Shatters and Austin makes his way out to a pop.Austin: You talk about beating me last night, well let me tell you son I don't know what you're on, but the world saw that sob get in the ring and end the match in a countout. Vince: Austin, a win is a win and in the record books, I beat Stone Cold Steve Austin! Austin: You can call it a win all you want, but one of these days I'm going to get you back in the ring and beat your sorry ass. As for Dr. Death, I want that sob to come out right now so I could open up a can of whoop ass on him for costing me the match... Vince: Well tonight Dr. Death will be here in a match against Earthquake and if you lay one hand on him "during the match", I'll strip you out of the WWF Championship. That's right I'll do it! Austin: Very well I won't touch his sorry ass but that won't stop me from touching you... STUNNER on McMahon! Austin pins McMahon and counts the three as the Stooges get back. Austin flips them off and leaves. ___________________________________________________________ D-Lo Brown def. Vader via Countout. D-Lo Brown celebrates as if he won the lottery. Vader is upset and goes after him, but Brown escapes in time. New Nation members don't show up. Dan Severn (w/Cornette) def. Bart Gunn via Submission
X-Pac (w/Chyna) def. Scorpio via pinfall. New Nation members don't show up. ___________________________________________________________ The Rock cuts a promo in the back with Mabel. "Last night if you thought for a minute that I'd let the Undertaker pin me there was just no way and I mean no way in hell that was going to happen. I brought my man Mabel back into the WWF to take care of you because the Rock has one thing and I mean one thing on his mind and that is become the WWF Champion. You're the obstacle that needs to be obselete. Soon, Vince McMahon will see my potential and realize the Rock is the chosen one, the Rock is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment because let's be honest can you smell what the Rock is cooking?"Triple H (c) (w/Chyna) def. The Godfather via pinfall to retain the WWF European Championship. Once again no New Nation members.
Marc Mero (c) (w/No MaaM) def. Brian Christopher via pinfall to retain the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship
Dr. Death Steve Williams (w/Stooges) def. Earthquake via pinfall. Austin is in the back watching the match as Dr. Death destroys Earthquake with the Backdrop Driver and Doctor Bomb on the big guy for the win. The Stooges congratulate Dr. Death. Austin's had enough and runs out. Austin gets in the ring and starts firing punches on the Stooges, but Dr. Death quickly gets in the Backdrop Driver to Austin. Death starts to pummel Austin in a corner. Austin fires back and hits the ropes only for Death to lift him up for the Oklahoma Stampede finisher (lifts the opponent and bounces them off the corner for a powerslam). Dr. Death stomps on Austin's chest holding his fist up high with the Stooges laughing as JR shouts "what in the world will Austin do" for RAW to go off air.

Since the next PPV is WWF SummerSlam 1998 I wonder if Austin will be defending the WWF Championship and if he does just who his opponent will be at the PPV...it can't be Dr Death because he just got here and Triple H after all he did win the 1998 King of the Ring so that at least guarantees him a WWF Championship match at SummerSlam against the champion but then again Triple H is also the WWF European Champion so he would essentially have to compete twice so who does that really leave?

Sunday Night Heat August 2nd, 1998 (Debut Episode) Hosts: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, and Shane McMahonVince McMahon welcomes everyone to Sunday Night Heat to literal "Heat". Vince introduces the "host" Shane McMahon who brings out two "ring rats" to sit by at commentary. Edge def. Jeff Jarrett (w/Lee) via pinfall. ___________________________________________________________________ DX make their way out talking about the New Nation as a defunct stable that belongs in the past. Triple H: I want a shot at the WWF title. I am the King of the Ring winner and In fact I'm giving up this WWF European Championship belt right here right now on Sunday Night Heat, come in here Hebner (ref gets in and takes the belt away) I'm surrendering this title to show you how serious I am. Shane McMahon I know you're sitting there watching I got a surprise for you. Triple H gets some girls to flash for Shane and Shane goes wild along with Lawler talking about "puppies". Triple H: I hope you enjoyed that golden boy, because I need you to talk to your dad about a WWF Championship shot. Shane: (shouts) You got it Trips! Triple H: And if you all ain't liken that you can SUCK IT! ___________________________________________________________________ Dr. Death Steve Williams (w/Brisco and Patterson) promo: "There is a lot of talk in the locker room, but there is a lot of silence because a man like me was hired by Mr. McMahon to take care of a certain Stone Cold Steve Austin once and for all. They all know it in the back, as does the world know what I'm all about, whether it's from Tokyo or New York, I've done it all, and have stayed undefeated, unpinned for a decade. Stone Cold Steve Austin, you're looking back to the bone, Dr. Death Steve Williams, the next Champion of the World. You come out here in the WWF trying to make a mark as the man at the top, but let me tell you something Steve Austin, when we get in the ring that's when we'll find out who the little boy is, and who the man is. And you're looking right at him, the man."___________________________________________________________________ The Headbangers def. Kai En Tai (w/Yamaguchi) via pinfall.
During the match, the Titantron shows Val Venis in the shower with Mrs. Yamaguchi-san that distracted Kai En Tai and cost them the match. Yamaguchi gets pissed off and threatens Val Venis to "choppy choppy his pee-pee". D-Lo Brown def. Ken Shamrock via Countout. Another "big win" for Brown. Shamrock got into a altercation on the outside with USA Network's Pacific Blue star Mario Lopez (of Saved by the Bell fame) who was laughing at him in the front row. Shamrock snapped and slapped him as Mario jumps him only for security to take him to the back. Shane McMahon is in the back to apologize to Mario Lopez for Shamrock, but he finds Shanna Moakler from Pacific Blue and drops the two "ring rats" for her. As she starts talking about how much she loves the WWF and likes "powerful" men like him as Shane hugs her and she promotes Pacific Blue on TV "next". Kane (c) def. Bart Gunn via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental ChampionshipFaarooq cuts a promo saying the New Nation is still united despite rumours of a break up and will stay united as SNH goes off air.

RAW is WAR August 3rd, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler Champion Roll Call:
WWF Champion: Stone Cold Steve Austin WWF Intercontinental Champion: Kane WWF Tag Team Champions: The New Age Outlaws WWF European Champion: VACANT WWF Light Heavyweight Champion: Marc Mero
Triple H is in the ring with Chyna. Triple H: On Sunday Night Heat, I gave up the WWF European Championship and now that title has been declared Vacant. On the next Sunday Night Heat my man X-Pac is getting his chance for the Vacant title. But I'm out here, without the whole DX army, because this is personal. Vince McMahon, I've been in your company for over three years in fact I debuted before Stone Cold. I've been a former Intercontinental Champion. I took over the D-Generation X from Shawn Michaels in the greatest coup in WWF history and at the King of the Ring, I won that tournament clean. I've given up the European Championship on Sunday Night Heat so that you could take notice and I've got one mission in my life and that is to become the next WWF Champion. So Mr. McMahon, will you or will you not give me a shot at the WWF title at SummerSlam? Come on out and answer me. Triple H gets anxious and talks to Chyna till Vince finally makes his way out. Vince: Hunter, look I've been watching you closely and yes you do deserve a title shot. In fact there are many in the WWF. The Rock is one of those deserving of the title and with Dr. Death Steve Williams here in the WWF now, I can't say for a fact as to whether or not your the No. 1 contender because I just don't think you can do it, but to be fair I haven't made up my mind. Triple H: Tell me what I have to do to prove myself? Tell me what I have to do to be in the main event at SummerSlam. Vince: If you could beat my man Dr. Death Steve Williams tonight, dammit Hunter, you got yourself a deal. _____________________________________________________________ Marc Mero (c) (w/No MaaM) def. Scorpio via pinfall to retain the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. After the match Dustin, Al Snow and Jacqueline celebrate with Mero's win. They start handing out No MaaM t-shirts to some of the fans at ringside till a few "feminists" in the front row start a protest about No MaaM's actions. Dustin starts reading from a "book" and tells the feminists that they should keep their mouth shut. The New Age Outlaws (c) def. Too Much via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships
Ken Shamrock def. Jeff Jarrett via Submission
_____________________________________________________________ The Rock enters Vince's office and starts to demand that he get a title shot against Austin. Vince says his time will come, but that Triple H has tenure in the company and will give him a chance first. The Rock gets pissed and leaves for his match. The Rock & Mabel def. Mankind & Terry Funk via pinfall in a Tag Team match after Mabel lands the big splash on Terry Funk. Val Venis (w/Mrs. Yamaguchi-San) fought Taka Michinoku (w/Yamaguchi) to a No Contest after Kai En Tai run out and beat up Venis and take him to the back. Venis is tied up and Yamaguchi orders that his "pee pee" be "chopped off" as a sword is brought in. They're about to do it till the camera feed turns off. Edge def. Tiger Ali Singh via pinfall_____________________________________________________________ Stone Cold Steve Austin is making his way out, but Triple H stops him. They're face to face and Austin says he wants to whoop Dr. Death's ass. Triple H says he wants the WWF title and warns Austin not to interfere. Austin turns around and shoves Chyna for the STUNNER on Hunter! Triple H (w/Chyna) vs. Dr. Death Steve Williams (w/Stooges) for the No. 1 Contender spot for the WWF Championship at SummerSlam. Dr. Death is out first as Stone Cold makes his way out. Austin starts firing fists left and right, though Williams takes him down and spears Austin. He won't stop punching him on the mat, till Triple H makes his way out angry. Triple H gets in the ring and wants to go for Austin, but instead kicks Dr. Death in the gut and pedigrees him! Triple H starts kicking down Austin, but Austin fires back as WWF Officials and security are out and stop Austin. Triple H looks pissed as the bell finally rings. Dr. Death is up now and hits the ropes for a diving shoulderblock. He starts to dominate the match till both men are on the outside. Triple H counters the irish whip and slams Dr. Death on the steel steps on PEDIGREE on the concrete! Triple H gets in on time for the 10 count. Winner: Triple H via Countout and No. 1 Contender for the WWF Championship
Triple H is in the corner and does the suck it pose with Chyna in the ring with him as RAW goes off air.

- Triple H gets his WWF Championship match at SummerSlam all be it he beat Dr Death by countout; Dr Death was not even pinned nor did he tap out so in a sense his unbeaten streak continues all be it he lost by countout but in a sense he didn't really lose cleanly because of Austin interfering which protects Dr Death
- But Triple H surrendering his title his WWF European Championship just to get his title match I wonder if Dr Death will be added to the match and it becomes a Triple Threat Match

RAW is WAR August 10th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry LawlerStone Cold makes his way out to a big pop from the crowd. Austin: Triple H you may have won the match last week on RAW, but I still want that piece of trash Dr. Death in the ring. So Vince McMahon why don't you set up the match that I want for a change because I don't mind putting the title on the line, heck I'll take them both on at the same time it don't matter to me son... Vince: (shows up at the entrance) Well well Mr. Austin, once again it's your words, your words Austin you said you can take them both on. Well at SummerSlam Austin, no it won't be a triple threat, no no, that same night Austin you're going to have two matches. The first will be a non-title match against Dr. Death Steve Williams. And the second match, the main event will be for your WWF Championship, which you will have to defend against a man I believe will walk out the new WWF Champion, Triple H. SummerSlam will be your undoing Austin, it will be your undoing and I can't wait for it! ___________________________________________________ Faarooq challenges Triple H to become the No. 1 Contender at SummerSlam for the WWF Championship. The Outlaws approach him and they "accept" on behalf of Triple H. After a commercial break the Outlaws inform Triple H that they accepted the challenge and he gets pissed off to the point that he "pulls his own pants down" in frustration. The Outlaws have no idea what is going on and they pull their pants down as well asking Triple H for forgiveness. Triple H accepts as Chyna pulls her pants down as well! They all look at her and laugh it out. Jacqueline (w/No MaaM) def. Luna Vachon via pinfall. After a commercial break, Sable asks Luna if she wants to join her feminist cause in bringing down No MaaM at SummerSlam. Luna likes the idea and they put there differences aside. In the back Val Venis has lost his "pee pee" and wants to press charges against Kai En Tai. He is recovering from the incident that happened on RAW last week.Savio Vega def. Darren Drozdov via DQ.
LOD 2000 def. Southern Justice via pinfall
Dr. Death Steve Williams (w/Stooges) def. Bradshaw via pinfall. Stone Cold Steve Austin is in the back pacing in the locker room after watching Dr. Death's match as Michael Cole enters to interview him. Cole asks Austin if he's afraid of losing the WWF title at SummerSlam. Austin grabs Cole and throws him in a cold shower for asking that stupid question as Austin locks the shower door and Cole starts to cry. Triple H (w/Chyna) def. Faarooq via pinfall to become the No. 1 Contender for the WWF Championship. Faarooq stopped Mark Henry and Godfather to join him tonight. Triple H gets a clean pin on Faarooq with the pedigree finisher five minutes in. Godfather and Henry make there way out to help Faarooq on his feet but he doesn't want their help. They tell him that they'll get back at DX by any means necessary. Ken Shamrock def. Mankind via submission to become the No. 1 Contender for the WWF Intercontinental Championship after the Rock runs out to cost Mankind the match. Mankind is furious and he runs to the back to look for the Rock who has already escaped in time.
