I'd KILL for them to go back to that format now to make matches special again. PPV matches mean nothing anymore. Guys fight each other 100 times before they fight again in a PPV. It's a terrible epidemic.

Even the 1 per month is fine, if they would keep the damn guys away from each other, and out of six man tag with each other before they fight. Who cares when they fight on PPV if they have already done it 10x on Raw leading up to the PPV. |

So I just started to watch some Prime Time Wrestling shows on the Network, and so far I am not impressed at all. Now I am Canadian, Question asked, question answered. |

Like others have said I will say the same. I was born in 87 so like you I had to go to the network and see it. Bobby and Gorilla are classic together. They made everything work so well. Also I enjoy the squash matches and not seeing the same guys every week. I have been watching very early Raws and they follow the same format and it's kind of nice to see different guys every other week instead of seeing the same back and forth between the 2 that are feuding. It gets old quick. Tag team, 6 man tag, then interrupt promo, ppv match then rematch the night after PPV on raw. Just loses the PPV big match atttraction.

(haha, you better a got that one! love ya brotha Ha ha yeah, I got that one! HBK and Triple H sure loved to diss Owen, the Harts, and Canada back then. But as much as it rubbed me the wrong way, I still laughed at it. So they were clearly doing something right back then with story telling, compared to today's WWE TV. |

One other thing I want to mention about Prime Time Wresting (and wrestling of this era in general actually) is that you did not see the same wrestlers on the same show each week. I remember as a kid always being excited when one of my favorites like The Rockers, Tito Santana or on a very rare occasion, The Ultimate Warrior would be on Prime Time Wrestling, Super Stars or Challenge. It felt like a real treat and it made watching each week genuinely exciting.
