Hey guys,
Anyone else having Photobucket issues? All of my uploaded photos have been replaced here on WF with 'Look who's popular' images; I checked my app and desktop - they're definitely there, not deleted.
I have a feeling it is Photobucket wanting me to upgrade to a paid version - anyone else feel the same?

Hey guys, Anyone else having Photobucket issues? PJDid it affect you as well? How did you get around it, if you don't mind me asking? Apparently it has to do with bandwidth - even though I have only used 76%. Thanks Reager

Thanks Reager I downloaded the two pics (the one I had as my Avatar and another similar to it) from my photobucket account to my tablet then I uploaded both to Webshots, but the original pic still didn't work. It still said the same thing. But the second one did work. It was very odd. |

I'll just use Imgur now I guess. 😡 Test:  ... So to use Imgur, I have to: 1. Copy the link 2. Enter the prefix and suffix tags 3. Delete the 'v' in 'gifv'. Sigh. |

I had to switch from photobucket to imgur a couple of months ago because of links being broken somehow. I'd used photobucket for well over 10 years without issue so it was strange that these problems popped up.

Today I see all my pb pics now say 3rd party has been suspended and says got to PB 500. Which is them saying they want me to upgrade to a paying account so I guess I am done with them.

I was also using tiny pic, but they are related to PB...so about 2 weeks ago I started using imgur

Yep, all my pics are now. Upgrade to pub 500. Well Photobucket how about FU. , you just messed up all my bst threads all over toy collecting communities on the web, how about you pay me all for all the time it is going to take to find a new host, and then add those picks back onto the all the forums..freaking STUPID IDIOTS...who is going to pay for a service that has been free for ten years!

WOW!! This is pure comedy, and a good example of how NOT to run your company. How the hell can they justify $400 a year for services that:
1. Went from $0 a year to $400
2. Free everywhere else (imgur)
3. Netflix etc... are less than that, where you can stream whatever the hell you want on there....
What greedy arseholes. Piss off photobucket. We're done. Hello imgur.
Now all our images on forums like this have been replaced by a dummy message. Well done idiots....

Might be a better way, but you can do it the old fashioned way and right click on the image, copy image address, then post like this [ img]paste image address here[/img] I do the same for google images this way. |
