Probably not until SDCC. Its the 20-23rd of this month, but if 52 isnt due until September, then were a ways from 53.

It is odd, the gap between Elite 53 and 54. At least compared to how Mattel was cranking them out. Boy, we've become spoiled, huh?
Anybody think that it's due to the packaging change/ upgrade that we are due for? I mean our elites have had the same packaging, barring slight color scheme changes and what not, since Elite 39! Which I believe launched September ish of two years ago? Just a thought.

But I could see Ringside getting 54 or even 55 by Xmas. |

Like others have said, we probably won't get any more lineup info until SDCC. I am excited for it though and welcome the little break. I feel like stuff is coming out way faster than it needs to and I don't have time to get it all let alone see it at retail

But I agree after E52 is released I think we'll get two probably three more elite releases before years end. |

Be it stores that gouge prices, but they were there for $35 to $40 each. Well I wasnt talking about 51, but they should be popping up soon for retail price. The ones for 35-40 would be from places like Ringside or other small sellers that get early shipments. Ringside gets things a month or two earlier than most retail stores so if they have 52 for early September then we wont see 53 until at least late September, early October. Thats two months after SDCC. Which is why Id guess the preorders would go up during or after. |
