I am loving the Classic Superstars line right now.
Being a fan of wrestling since 1981, I never got too into collecting.
The Classic Superstars line always intrigued me when I'd see it on the shelves, but it came and went with me buying maybe one or two figures on a whim.
I recently got into collecting and am constantly surprised at the scope of what Jakks covered in this series. I keep noticing new figures that I hadn't seen before that bring back memories.
The Fully Poseable Podcast's rundown of this entire series had me running to EBay many times in the last six months.
It's great that many of these can be picked up at good prices because they are not the newest and shiniest thing. Thankfully, there is a finite amount so my wallet will get a break once I get my fill!

This CS line is my favourite line of all time. I remember seeing them on the pegs for the first time. I absolutely loved these figures especially the packaging.
Also I love the fully Poseable podcast. Discovered them a few months ago and was hooked.

Never heard of that podcast, thanks for the post and talking about it. I also loved a lot of the Classic line, it had some really great figures and had guys you couldn't get elsewhere like Tank Abbott.

Yeah unfortunately I wasn't too into the CS series when it came out (I was like 10-17 age when they released.) I can say the series surprised me, even if the quality wasn't the best. I did manage to pick up a few like Moolah, Mae, Sherri, Sunny and Luna. I'm still mad I never got ahold of Abe Schwartz. I never saw any of the TRU two packs to be honest.
I find myself wishing they would have released just a few more series before the end. I'd have gladly picked up Slick if they would have made him.

I bought a load and binned them all (literally) when a girl I moved in with didn't want me bringing them. Loved the ones I had.
Only knock for me is the scale. Shorter guys way too tall and any heavy guy has that weird Humpty Dumpty body.

I started collecting the Classic Series in 2010 after Jakks lost the license. I now have them all along with the Real Scale Cell, MITB and Elimination Chamber. Plus the WM 2 ring. I've bought Mattel's versions of the bigger guys because the CS versions of Vader, Natural Disasters, Bundy, Bam Bam etc were a little crazy. Having said that, if Mattel stopped making figs tomorrow I'd be more than happy with my collection. With customs and Mattel figures filling in gaps in the CS line, I'm all set. It's a very cool position to be in.

Best packaging out of all wrestling figures ever.
