i honestly thought RAW was pretty terrible. CW matches sucked, main event was fine but again...its the same 20 minute main event match we get to see from Roman every week where its a bunch of power moves and near-falls and Cole tells us it's the greatest match in the history of wrestling. i guess the hardyz/revival stuff was fine, but otherwise really nothing good tonight. You're telling me you don't love seeing Finn Balor vs Elias Sampson every week live only on Monday Night Raw???

Just not a fan of the angle Jordan thing tonight. Something that had so much hype, fell flat in my opinion. I had a strong feeling that it wouldn't be Stephanie especially since all the coverage she's been getting lately with ESPN. Just my opinion but just really disappointed that with all this buildup it ends me being Jason Jordan. Nothing against JJ, I actually really like him I'm just not a fan of the angle.

I had no major complaints tonight.
The Dean/Seth thing is intriguing. Hope it leads to a heel turn for Dean.
Main Event went exactly how we all knew it would. But it was good action wise.
The JJ/Kurt thing is too fresh to decide what I think. I feel JJ and Gable are both stars in the making. So I have a better feeling about this then I did the Enzo/Cass split. Time will tell. Plus we could find out Jason is lying which would lead to a entertaining feud.

Jordan is going to be a World Champ.

My 6yr old wants to see it and i know I'll be bored. Im sure it will be more exciting then sitting through an episode of Raw He's 90% of the reason i even sit through Raw anymore.

Angle's son should have been Braun.

I love the Kurt/Jordan storyline. Jordan is going to be a World Champ. Well if Jordan ever had the potential to be a world champ, this ruined his chances exponentially. Nobody has and ever will come out looking good after an illegitimate child storyline. He's dead in the water with this. What is up with WWE splitting up money teams lately?

The main issue I have with the Angle/Jordan pairing is that it's probably marking the end of American Alpha, which is a damn shame.

What did everyone think of the ropes not being changed for the Cruiserweight matches tonight?

They broke up American Alpha! Is it a new trend in WWE to find things out via Twitter now? ๐ First Talking Smack, now this. Also atleast that guy who always moaned about American Alpha barely appearing on SmackDown finally knows the reason why lol.

I caught bits of RAW, i caught the main event for the most part. Good main event, i knew Braun Strowman would interfere to build for a 4 way, which i guess the whole Lesnar/Reigns at Mania may come true, which if it does, i do not regret holding off on going to Mania next year, and instead will take a trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. The 4 way will be fine. About the Kurt Angle "controversy". I only caught the replay where Angle reveals "his son" Jason Jordan. I heard from the Don Tony and Kevin Castle Show that in his promo, he said everyone in the back was fine witg it, so what was the point of this whole "this could ruin my career" part if everyones fine with it. They crapped on it. Like everything now a days in WWE cause i mostly watch highlights and clips from their Youtube page, ill give this a chance, though its horrible that yet another great tag team is broken up, BUT, in this instance, there's potential in both guys as singles wrestlers. Ive always said ever since the second NXT Live Event in Cleveland that Jason Jordan had potential as a main roster singles guy. How far he'll go, we'll see. And also Chad Gable had inpressed me so far in his singles stuff on Smackdown so these two breaking up sucks, but its not career damaging for either like it could be for Enzo and Big Cass

Reposted from the thread on Angle's reveal:
I haven't watched wrestling in god knows how long, so I don't know anything about Jason Jordan. But I saw this trending on twitter tonight, and I can tell you this was really short sighted booking that really doesn't do anything other than give this Jason Jordan guy a chance to be on TV for a few weeks, unless WWE is really committed to this.
The fact that they're resorting to this soap opera style of booking less than 6 months into Angle being GM is just not good. I'm also never in favor of this kind of stuff (unless the wrestlers are actually relatives) because (1) it unnecessarily devalues the legacy of a hall of famer and (2) it it almost inevitably dies out (see Edge & Christian, Hornswaggle & Vince, Big Show & Andre) and becomes a joke years later or has a payoff that falls flat. The WWE writers are not sophisticated or patient enough to effectively execute this storyline (for instance having other superstars claim nepotism against Angle, have Angle try to be impartial to Jordan for as long as possible, and to have the eventual payoff in a year (or more) turn into Jordan revealing he falsified the whole thing as an elaborate plan to get ahead). Unless this Jason Jordan guy is already established, this is going to take too long. I assume the eventual payoff is to lead to a match between Angle (who comes out of retirement) and Jordan, where it's sort of a passing of the torch.
If I was WWE I'd take this in a direction they've never done before and have Angle and Jordan be tag partners (winning the titles once or twice), with Angle mentoring Jordan; ala Ken Griffey Jr. & Sr.. We've had plenty of dads mentor and feud with their sons, but never actually tag with them for a legitimate run. This could easily lead to Angle reviving some of his old feuds by teaming with Jordan to face HHH (and any number of his mentees), Rock & Roman Reigns, etc. etc.). Jordan facing Brock Lesnar, with Angle helping him prepare, would also be an interesting dynamic.
But like I said above, the eventual payoff needs to lead to it being revealed that Jordan is not really Angle's son, and that Jordan did all this to get ahead because he found out he was about to be released or something else. You can add the element that Kurt beat Jordan's dad for a spot on the olympic team/injured him and ended his career...and thus Jordan knew this was his chance to ruin Angle's life...just like Angle had previously ruined his father's life. Or, reveal that it was actual Jordan's tag partner (Chad Gable?) who was Angle's son, and Jordan switched some sort of test or information or something because he knew that would've meant the end of his career and Jordan wasn't going to let that happen. However, the only way for this to be effective is for WWE to make Angle/Jordan's relationship legitimate and believable for a long time, so that people are interested and engaged in it. For the first few weeks/months, everyone is going to be skeptical. Once it gets over the hill of skepticism then it needs to grow to the point where it isn't just accepted, but it's taken as a constant, and THEN that's when you pull the rug out from under it.

Anyone else think this is Vince and his yes men giving HHH a big **** you?
Enzo & Cass and now AA, two of the best tag teams for a long time broken up. I'm half expecting the Revival to last another 6 months tops.

What did everyone think of the ropes not being changed for the Cruiserweight matches tonight? Should've never done it in the first place, so it's a welcome change for me.
