I was watching the Slammiversary 2007 King Of The Mountain match the other day for the first TNA title. I kind of wish Chris Harris would've won the TNA title. I felt that after AMW he just sort of crumbled in TNA.
I felt he was worthy of a better run, James Storm had a decent singles run in 07/08 before Beer Money

Eh, Chris Harris was ok in 2007. To me, he was at his best in 2004 when they gave him a singles push when Storm was injured. If there was any time to give him the best, it should have been in 2004. Like i would have booked Chris Harris to win the title when Russo as the DOA was testing Harris for him to prove he was ready for Jarrett. Then they could have done Killings as the transitional champion and the whole scenario with AMW back as a team.

Off topic but I freakin loved Chris Harris back in early AMW days. Such a shame he never panned out later in his career, thought he had amazing potential.

Never saw the big deal with Harris, he was great with AMW but as a singles wrestler it just wasn't there imo. If he did win at Slammiversary in 07, I don't see how it would have benefitted TNA to have him as technically their first World Champion. Should have been Angle or Joe so I'm ok with the decision.

By 2007 Chris Harris just didn't seem to be anything special. I remember in 2003 and 2004 I thought, "if Harris and Storm split, Harris is gonna be NWA Champion for sure!" But it was Storm who showed he had a personality and could adapt as a singles star. Harris just always stunk of AMW and had that horrible "more human than human" Rob Zombie type theme song. That didn't help his cause too much either.

He didn't show any real emotion when he was in singles feuds other than with Storm. His booking wasn't all that great either though.

We might never have had this: That's a world I don't want to live in.
