Is it just me or is he taking himself a bit too serious since he returned? He's barely cracked a smile since he's been back, his overall dimeneour is just a bit dull. Dont be surprised if you see him turn heel soon, he can show much more personality that way.

It seems like Shane is becoming more like Linda (with the exception of the desire to dive off of high structures ) while Stephanie is becoming more and more like her Dad.

He's older. As time goes on, so does your will to live.
But he's still jumping off high sh**, so praise be!

One would assume crashing a helicopter into the ocean would take a toll.

I question if he really wants to be there honestly... He made his big return and has had a few matches, but other than that, he's still handcuffed when it comes to ideas. It's been a year and a half since he's come back and it's probably getting old again. He's in a weird position with his father and sister/brother-in-law, where he probably has the smallest say but probably the biggest brain and heart for the company.

A world where Shane McMahon and Paul Levesque are in charge of WWE together is my happy place.

he's probably miserable....he probably came back thinking it was going to create something cool, he was gonna get control of a show to be able to make it the way he wanted it....and instead he's just put as the GM of the "B" show with a bunch of scripted garbage as his promos and some of the worst storylines in the history of the company.
but at least he's collecting a check and involved. hopefully one day he'll have a chance to run things.

He's older. It can be hard to appear super energetic and charismatic at that point. Plus he's probably also on completely scripted promos.
Also we're seeing him constantly. You become numb to the allure sometimes.

I never thought the guy had any charisma. To be brutally honest, one of the biggest reasons that I'm the most casual of fans these days is seeing the McMahon family as on-air characters for almost 20 years. Any novelty that they had wore off long, long ago.

Sounds like a big assumption based on your personal distaste for the current product. If he didn't like it, he would just leave again. Highly doubt he is hurting for money.

Funny how people speculate so much about what goes on behind the scenes in a company that none of us work for.

A lot of his charisma back in the day came from his seemingly unending energy. He's older now, has kids, and I believe he said he got his ADHD kind of taken care of. I think he still has charisma but he's just not as all over the place anymore.
Also, if you listen to interviews he's done or Pete Gas has done around Wrestlemania season, it seems like he's still a lot of fun behind the scenes.

my only beef with Shane is how limp is wrists are. It bothers the heck out of me seeing this big man, what? 6' 1" or 2", a good 230 lbs at least holding the mic with one hand and his limp @$$ wrist dangling with the other hand. Grow some manly wrists.
