There's many of us in the AJ, Balor and Rollins buying club. My difficulty at retail all makes sense

I used to collect as many individual wrestlers as I can but then I didn't have as much money and I realized that I have so many figures just sitting there and since I play with figures these figures aren't getting played with so I decided to put my money into figures that I will use and also enjoy.

My main goal in sustaining my collection is to have at least one figure (whether Basic or Elite) of everybody on the main roster, plus anybody in NXT they've made a figure of. For anybody that has held a World Title, I'll upgrade to an Elite for my display of world champs. I'll also occassionally double dip with characters that have a really cool-looking Elite that comes out.
Overall, I'd like to own one of each character Mattel has released, but outside of current characters that have first-time figures, I'm only filling out the others as I find deals on eBay and whatnot.

I used to get one figure of everybody but I've stopped doing that. Now I focus either on figures (primarily elites) of the folks I really like. Sometimes if a figure is just really outstanding I will break this self imposed rule (Enzo elite for example). So I've passed on a lot of figures.
Since AJ is my all time favorite I'm trying to collect all of his figures. I also have several Balors just because the figures look so cool. Yep it's a sickness.

I will get around to buying every woman if I can (Only ones I'm missing are AJ basic 24 which I just ordered, Eve basic 25 which I also just ordered, Kelly basic 6, Mickie basic 3, Mania Melina, Lana from battle pack and bayley basic 74) Someone like Sasha Banks or Charlotte I'll get straight away because their attires are different and I love them both..
The only male figures I buy are Seth, Roman, Dean, Cena, Ziggler, AJ, Finn and The Miz.

I started collecting around E23. My initial collecting goal was to have one of everyone made. I still havent hit that goal as we are around the 300 character mark now.
My first duplicate was The Undertaker. Shortly after that I decided I would get duplicates of thr attires I liked.
That evolved into getting every release of my faves. Ultimate Warrior. Macho Man. And The Undertaker.
I collected MOC. But around the 100 figure mark, I simply ran out of room. So I had a mass opening. It was super fun.
Now I'm around the 400 figure mark and they are displayed in the common detolf cases.

I have an old jakks and a few hasbros those are stored away. Mattel I buy alot of my favorite wrestlers. I split my collecting into two categories 1) Figures I must have ( my fav wrestlers of all time with all attires (ex. HBK, Macho man, warrior, hogan) and 2) figures it would be nice to have/add to the collection. Right now I am more 95 % category 1

I try and collect at least one figure of each person. There are exceptions. People who I really like, such and Balor, Savage, and taker I will buy pretty much all their figures. Lately I've been buying less basics and more elites. I also will buy character changes. For example Cody Rhodes and Stardust. But for some like Cena, I don't really care to have all his different attires. This pretty much sums me up as to how I collect as well. Swap Balor with Ultimate Warrior and we're essentially the same exact collector. Nice to know we're on the same page Arun!

Plus I also collect other lines like marvel legends so the costs can add up pretty quickly! I find this method has worked for me though.

I started just buying a few elites based of off the WWF BCA and WCW toybiz figures I had growing up. That quickly changed as I also started buying figures that resembled the hasbro figures that I never got into due to the fact they never release a diesel. Now I have close to 200 MOC elites and am tempted to open them due to lack of space due to the boxes. Not sure what to do. Lol
