I reckon the best thing for her is to become on the main roster what Bo Dallas was in NXT - the frustratingly white meat baby face heel.

Bayley works on a small smark scale like NXT. Her schtick just isn't good enough for prime time. F opinions, this is flat out wrong. Then we can just F your opinion then. Bayley did everything she did on NXT on Raw and that audience didn't buy it. She won the women's title and still nobody cared. The crowd reactions over these past few months proved that. And it has nothing with the way she's been "booked". The mainstream fans either like her or don't. And they don't.

The way your talking anyone would think shes been entering to silence every week.

I'll just say it. Bayley is overrated. She's not a botch-machine like Sasha Banks (boy did she fall from my graces) but Bayley gets this street cred with some of you because she's a lifelong fan. Maybe she should have spent some of that lifelong time tapping Arn Anderson or John Cena on how to cut a promo.
AJ Lee already told the story of having her teenage dream come true, complete with wrestler photo ops, so what is so bloody unique about Bayley? Her face doesn't sell a match, she's either fake happy hugging outside the ring or sulking sad inside the ring. That's about as much acting as she can do.
Sorry blissfan and Curly but that's reality.

I wouldn't call Sasha a botch machine.
Her promos aren't great but she can back it in the ring.

The reason Bayley isnt as over on the main roster is because you are dealing with two different type of crowds. A WWE crowd is made up with the bulk of sheep. Bayley is outside the norm of what they expect to see on Raw or SD. NXT is made up with the bulk of smart marks. They will cling to anyone that busts their ass like Bayley has. In NXT, we see the maturation of Bayley. She grew from "the fan" to the "fan now wrestling in NXT". It was easy for the crowd to associate themselves with her. On the main roster, she had no story coming in. All we knew was she was Sasha's friend and she kept hugging strange people. The sheep arent watching NXT. this is the most straight to the point accurate answer i've seen in this thread.

Why even have her on the show? That was such a dumb interview that did absolutely nothing for her or the show overall.

I'm seeing people say that she can't cut a promo. Have they ever tried to put a mouthpiece with her? I know it's rare to see a female wrestler with a manager but has WWE tried this with Bayley?

Here's the difference. In NXT she was booked very well. It wasn't just the smark fans, she had a great underdog story that they built for over a year that culminated in one of the greatest women's matches in WWE history.
In WWE, they book her like garbage. For about 3 weeks they were heavily teasing a "never been kissed" angle, which was horrendous.
As for not being a main roster draw, she should be the female John Cena or New Day. Her gimmick isn't much different from ND, being an over positive geek, and they got over just fine. And she had a leg up in that she was massively white hot coming from NXT. She is just booked like utter trash.

I won't argue the bad booking, but I'll echo what King Balor wrote; Bayley was brought to the main roster as a continuation of her nXt character, with little to no explanation of a background. The writers just assumed the Raw audience and the Network audience are one in the same, and that could not be further from the truth. There are many that watch both, but I'm almost positive the majority do not. This is one of those cases where Bayley's character would've been better off if it started on the main roster, if she was ever going to be called up in the first place. She could've been the female Cena by now, instead of being Sasha Banks' awkward friend with the same "just happy to be here" attitude that got Apollo Crews absolutely nowhere.

You are not far from wrong. Lots of people had no idea who Balor was last year and his instant push nearly destroyed him. The majority of the fans saw this unknown guy get rocketed to the main event and they did not like it.

I wouldn't call Sasha a botch machine. Her promos aren't great but she can back it in the ring. She can be pretty sloppy in the ring, Alexa Bliss is what Sasha Banks should of been, but she's not and that's why Alexa is thriving.

The majority of the fans saw this unknown guy get rocketed to the main event and they did not like it. Very true. But Balor, Banks, Charlotte, Becky, etc. all had something unique that kind of allowed them to show up without a whole lot of back story. Charlotte was a heel that got everything because of her dad, Banks had her "Boss" brand that came across with her attitude, and Balor had his demon, which is selling merchandise, so it clearly some people liked it. Most of this stuff had explanation from the announcers or the wrestlers themselves. Bayley was unique as well, but she had awkward promos and the dancing balloon guys. Honestly, I thought that would've resonated with kids alone, but I'm guessing I was wrong.
