I see a lot of people complain that there are way too many PPV's, so what would you guys do? For me the schedule would look like this
January- Royal Rumble joint brand PPV Febuary- n/a or MAYBE a network exclusive from Full Sail where you have qualifiers for Andre The Giant Memorial, no.1 contender matches for US and tag titles. March- n/a April- Wrestlemania May- n/a June- Clash Of Champions- RAW PPV July- n/a August- Summerslam September- n/a October- Halloween Havoc- Smackdown PPV November- Survivor Series December- n/a
You only have two brand exclusive PPVs, making RAWs and Smackdowns more important weekly TV because titles changes, big matches will make sense to happen, thus more ratings for TV which can lead to what WWE wants and needs- a bigger TV deal. You make the big 4 PPV's really BIG, make Survivor Series into a mini Mania like they have made Summerslam, a 4 hour extravaganza, find a city and stick there like there doing with Brooklyn and Summerslam. Maybe Toronto or Philly. MAYBE a little network exclusive that will have bearings on Mania such as no.1 contendership match for titles, a champion v champion match cross brand, etc.

For me, i want a ppv every 2 weeks, and never a ppv with the brands together. Bring back starrcade, bassh, ww3, battlebowl ect... relive wcw and ecw brands exclusives to the network, instead of losing spot with 205 live, put wcw in a 1 hour brand. At least give us on the network, live house shows. Now that the ppvs are free, i think its cool , to have a lot of them. I prefer buying the channel, for ppv or house showns or brands shows than showing old total bellas over and over again

I'd do every other month with the other months having a special event that's not under the overused PPV banner like a Saturday Nights Main Event or something that still has big matches and feels different than your average Raw/Smackdown but it's not quite as big as the PPVs. So something like:
Jan - Royal Rumble Feb - SNME Mar - Wrestlemania Apr - Special Old School Raw May - King of the Ring (with the winner actually going on to decent things) Jun - SNME Jul - Summerslam Aug - Special Old School Smackdown Sep - Elimination Chamber Oct - SNME Nov - Survivor Series Dec - Special New Years show

I'm fine with the old formula of one PPV a month. The big four could be combined PPVs: Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summer Slam, and Survivor series. The other eight could be evenly split between Raw and SmackDown, allowing for more time on the TV shows to develop stories so we get less of these quickly thrown together matches of no consequence - I'm looking at you Orton vs Rusev and Cena vs Corbin!

I want them to go back to the pre-WWE HD schedule, so scrap the gimmick PPV names and go back to the old ones.
January - Royal Rumnle February - No Way Out March/April - WrestleMania April - Backlash May - Judgment Day June - King of the Ring (winner gets a title shot at SummerSlam) July - Vengeance August - SummerSlam September - Unforgiven October - No Mercy November - Survivor Series December - Armageddon

I'm good with one PPV a month but if making money wasn't a factor, and this was just about booking, I'd go something like this:
Jan: Royal Rumble - Both Feb: March/April: Mania - Both May: Backlash - Raw June: MITB - SD! July: KOTR - Raw (Winner ME SummerSlam) August: SummerSlam - Both September: October: In Your House (insert funny corny name) - SD! November: Survivor Series - Both December:

Since this is clearly a hypothetical scenario, I'd also move RAW back to 2 hours. I'd then only have 4 Pay-Per-Views a month. While implementing special 3 hour RAWs and SmackDown's throughout the year. The specials would feature high quality matches, almost replacing these throwaway PPVs. Championship matches, blow off matches for feuds, etc. Other weekly shows would implement more use of enhancement talent. The big money feuds/matches would be saved for the Big 4 Pay-Per-Views.
January - Royal Rumble February - 3 Hour RAW Special March - 3 Hour SDL Special April - WrestleMania June - 3 Hour RAW Special July - 3 Hour SDL Special August - SummerSlam October - 3 Hour RAW Special November - Survivor Series December - 3 Hour SDL Special
Sorry if any of that was confusing. Haha

Personally I really don't see a problem with how it is now. I like PPVs being a semi-regular thing, happening every 2 weeks. It gives me something to look forward to on a regular basis. Because of the brand split, and therefore most PPVs are unique to one brand, each brand really has a PPV every 4 weeks. So it's not like they're overdone anymore than they have been for the past 20 years or so.

The New Year's show could be called Starcade I'd also switch the old school smackdown and summerslam around and it's perfect.

Just something quick I threw together looking at dates next year. I feel this would give enough space between events without it feeling like a chore to watch them and enough time to give proper build to matches.
Late Jan Royal Rumble - RAW/SmackDown Live Late Feb No Way Out - SmackDown Live Late Feb/Early March King of the Ring - Whichever brand lost the Royal Rumble Match Early/Mid March Fastlane - RAW Early April WrestleMania 34 - RAW/SmackDown Live Late April Payback - RAW Mid May Backlash - SmackDown Live Mid June Money In The Bank - RAW since SmackDown had it in 2017 Early July The Great American Bash - SmackDown Live Late July Roadblock - RAW Late August SummerSlam - RAW/SmackDown Live. Date pushed back to give extra week build for RAW feuds. Mid Sept Bad Blood - SmackDown Live Early Oct Unforgiven - RAW Mid Oct No Mercy - SmackDown Live Mid Nov Survivor Series - RAW/SmackDown Live Mid Dec Battleground - SmackDown Live Late Dec Over The Limit - RAW

12 Pay-Per-Views. 4 Co-branded, 4 for each brand.
The brand that is "off" PPV for the month can build up to a special Raw or Smackdown, since ratings are more important anyway.

The way I look at it is... I pay 9.99 a month regardless of it it's one, two, or even 3 PPVs (counting Takeover) a month. So I say the more the merrier. Nobody is forcing me to watch.

They really need to end the brand exclusive PPV's because they feel smaller than the old In Your House's. PPV's now just feel like XL Raw's and Smackdown's and I would like them to lose some aswell.
Less is more and it should be quality over quantity.
