I'd rather have a line where they redo old figure attires (Piper with red trunks, Macho King with gold kneepads, the Galoob Surfer Stings, etc.), would look awesome having a modern figure next to an older one with the exact same attire imo. Yeh that's what I was thinking, the WCW Toybiz figures hold so many memories for me I'd love to see Mattel recreate more of them. First in line, Smash N Slam DDP. And NOT SMILING!!

Depends how they did it. I'm not a big fan of the pixel paint-apps, but I love NECA's packaging. I would freak the hell out if they ever did a box set or series of carded figures with specially branded packaging based on one of the games - like someone suggested, a WrestleMania: The Arcade Game box set, for instance. Those old games that had small rosters of 6-12 characters would be somewhat manageable and would make great collector's figures as Comic-Con exclusives or something. Think of something like WrestleMania on the NES that had Hogan, Savage, DiBiase, Andre, Bam Bam, and Honky Tonk Man. Obviously it couldn't happen without Hogan back on board, but the rest are already signed, so if they made a series of six figures or a nifty set, I would buy the crap out of it. Or WrestleMania Challenge on the NES, which had Beefcake, Ruck Rude, Big Bossman, Hacksaw, Andre, Savage, Hogan, Warrior...and YOU. A nine-figure lineup that included a figure of "you" would be a hilarious homage and it'd double as a jobber figure. It'd never happen but it's fun to think about.

I see the reasoning behind this since NECA has their series of figures which have video game based paint apps, but I don't see it working for WWE so much.

I would be interested. I love what NECA does.

I just want WWE Immortals figures!! www.the.com/immortals/roster/2 packs for those with 2 different versions. 3 packs for those with 3 different versions. Sharpshooter Bret Hart, Commando Sgt. Slaughter, and and Scorpion Warrior Sting can come in a 3 pack, since there's only one of each.

I wouldn't mind variants. Even if it is something they never really wore. Someone brought up Piper in red. I still have that LJN and it would be pretty cool to see that in Mattel form.
Hell even do polls, since that's what we need another of, to vote on a random attire and then the choice that gets selected most could be a RSC exclusive or something.

Interesting concept. I would buy some of the retro guys in 8 bit like their Jason or Freddy figures.

If it's WrestleFest themed, I'm all in.

I'd love to see a series of guys all in their Smackdown! attires. Then a set of SD!2 attires, then Just Bring It and so on

I'd buy em but would love it if Jakks did NES Pro Wrestling since they do make Nintendo figures and wrestling figures. Seems like a no brainer.
