I took delivery of a MOC Hasbro Macho Man 3 this morning, and I got to thinking that my only other Randy Savage MOC figure was actually the last Hasbro figure I bought in an actual store on the high street. I was in Tenerife in February 1998 (I know this because I remember watching No Way Out 1998 in the early hours at the hotel ) and had been collecting MOC Hasbros for maybe a year after growing-up playing with them, so I was in the habit of checking any toy stores I could when we were away from home, with some successes (found Roddy Piper in Iceland, Brutus 1 in Marbella, Hogan 1 and Jake the Snake in Torrevieja) but this was the last time I found any instore - Randy Savage 4 was there with another Roddy Piper, who was like the third (!) Piper I'd found in store since I started collecting them MOC. I regret not getting that one as well, but I was definitely not letting Macho Man go. So Macho Man 4 was the last figure I bought in store about four years after the line ended - anyone else remember the last figure they bought instore of a defunct line?

I got an ECW Chris Candido in 2004 from Meijer.
I remember still finding the WCW OSFTM figures into like 2002-2003. that line would've been discontinued in 1998? I know I got a Rick Steiner 4 inch on clearance from K-Mart in like 2003, along with a bunch of grapple gear septic sludge. the ones with the weird slime. I threw the slime away but was thrilled to have packs of weapons for like $1 each. I think Steiner was like .25 then.

Around 98 quite a few imported Hasbro's appeared in discount stores in the UK. I think they were priced at about £3. They all had the large orange stickers in German which translated to something like "Packaging damaged, content OK". Some were in terrible condition whilst others were passable. They were all the later coloured cards. I remember picking up a couple of series 10 but the stickers made them look ugly. Here's an example of one so you see what I mean: Edit: Cool topic, BTW

There was a BCA Signature Series Road Dogg at a nearby Rite Aid until about 2009.

Last Hasbros I bought at retail were black tights Shawn and purple tights Razor when they were added to the blue series. Never saw green cards in stores.

My local Rite Aid still has a Jakks Off the Ropes figure. I can't recall who it is though.
They also have an MIB Angelica from the Rugrats. Yes. The Rugrats. My Rite Aid has the most retro toys haha

My Rite Aid has the most retro toys haha I was just going to say my local Rite Aid has like 5 Off The Ropes Mr. Kennedy figures. There's another place near me with some Jakks commons but I wouldn't count that because it's a retro video game store that started stocking some old collectibles.

My dad used to travel on business 3 weeks out of the month. He was always in new areas and places with toy stores and he'd always look to see if he could find anything for me while on the road. One night in the summer of 1993, I was home sick in bed with a really bad bug, and he came home from Montreal with a big plastic bag full of toys - mostly some Hasbros/TMNT stuff I didn't have, BUT he also scored Slick and Vince McMahon LJN's on French/English cards in a Toys R Us clearance aisle. Pretty sure those came out some time in 87 or early 88, so that was a pretty big gap of time. I was pleasantly surprised!
Also remember seeing the blue card Razor and HBK's well into the late 90's in a local drug store. They never lowered the price (9.98 COME ON MAN!) and they sat there forever and ever until one day they were gone and some Jakks TTL's had taken their place.

I bought an Unmatched Fury Bobby Lashley at my local Big Lots about two years ago. I needed the stand for a loose Mankind I found without one!

Off the Ropes Chris Jericho....the one from his 2007 return era. Short hair, white t shirt, black pants. This sat at my Rite Aid until they remodeled it in 2015. That was trumped however,by a Mad Hatter from Batman the Animated Series that sat at a local CVS until 2013. That figure was a late 90s release if i recall. More impressively, they had 2 of the figure warming that peg. Lol

how late did people still find Dr Death & Jacqueline BCAs? Or Blassie/Albano/Fuji LJNs? it makes me laugh when I hear people calling figures that aren't even out everywhere "shelf warmers". My local Toys R Us still had a Blassie into the Hasbro era. There's a chance my local CVS may still have a Dr. Death around
