how late did people still find Dr Death & Jacqueline BCAs? Or Blassie/Albano/Fuji LJNs? it makes me laugh when I hear people calling figures that aren't even out everywhere "shelf warmers". My local Toys R Us still had a Blassie into the Hasbro era. There's a chance my local CVS may still have a Dr. Death around Reminds me of the Penguin Commandos from Batman Returns. I swear you could still find them at TRU in 2003!

I remember seeing the Remco Ric Flair/Larry Zbyszko two-pack at a Woolworth's in 1991. There were several other Remco figures there too. All on a floor stand in the middle of an aisle. Not knowing of the AWA line, I immediately wondered why Flair was packaged with Zbyszko rather than Arn Anderson.
My local drug store had the WCW Galoob carrying case well into the early 2000s.

Could be worth a visit.like most,I'm a tad bit young to remember the transition from ljn to Hasbro, but I do remember the Jackie's and Dr deaths well into the ra era at Tru.that and a couple of CVS had those jakks bischoffs two years ago.

That’s a hell of a find - the figure itself might not be that rare in terms of the production line, but to find a 20+ year old figure from a major line MOC at charity shop sounds crazy IIRC think Samu was one of the figures sold in the Argos catalogue (or maybe the Index catalogue) back in the day - I remember it being him, Scott Steiner and another (Doink maybe?) being in there as figures generally were starting to dry-up in stores. Because of that I had one Headshrinker and one Steiner Brother for a little while, which annoyed the hell out of me Fortunately my older brother was sent on a business trip to Canada soon afterwards so I asked him if he could keep an eye out for the series 9 and 10 figures - and I’m still shocked that he brought me back: Rick Steiner, Fatu, Giant Gonzales and Marty Jannetty!! He’s been my favourite brother since that day (he’s also my only brother ).

Hey
That's good your brother got all those figures for you unfortunately for me my older brothers were older than me when hasbro was out but were never into wrestling. I would love to Go back in time and be just a little older and get the whole set twice (one lot to open and one lot to keep on card) some guy on here said pound land used to sell them , can you imagine that I would buy at least a couple of hundred. hopefully samu will be the start of a collection though I want to keep it realistic and not spend a fortune but it will be hArd to get them bargain wise as there so popular on eBay and everyone knows there the deal. I seem to notice the headshrimkers And the bushwackers blue card were the most hard to sell at the time in stores from The posts I've seen and there still lots of them on eBay popping up all the time at reasonable prices.
Still what a find and I really want every single figure so badly lol

I remember seeing some random hasbro figures in the late 90's at CVS, which is a drug store if you didn't know.

Condition was quite poor seen a piper aswell this is all over a good period though. The samu find was quite extraordinary I couldn't believe it when it was in back of the shop in a basket on a shelf still on the original card at £4 it was a great bargain.

There's still a Jakks khali in a rite aid by my house. Bought hasbro Tito Santana at a local ace hardware about 2 years ago.
Bought an original morphing trini mmpr figure at a small drug store recently

Ahhhh man lol. Really good question. I think I subconsciously blurred my memory on my last WWF Hasbro figures purchase because of how depressing it is to think of them ending lol. And also how I never found the green card series in stores. I'm gonna say that I think it was the Hasbro dark blue card series with Giant Gonzalez.... I don't remember getting any other doubles or backtracking with figures from other sets after them. I remember finding them in my local Kay Bee toys in my favorite mall that is gone now too-painful memories all around lol.
