I understand that they're producing role-play, dress-up and plush figures for WWE, but I'm pretty sure that they're still contractually able to produce actual wrestling figures for another company if the opportunity came. I'm very confident WWE will stay with Mattel pretty much forever unless something happened to Mattel, if so, I could see WWE going back to Hasbro before Jakks. Got me thinking, Jakks could release a generic line called 'Hall of Rage', and release legends figures, mostly those that WWE wouldn't make. I think Jakks making figures for New Japan Pro Wrestling would certainly work, but they'd mainly be sold in Japan.
I don't think GFW will ever get to the point where they can have figures made again.

I don't know what's next for Jakks, but I want more of these...  At about $100 each, I'd get every Championship Title Belt they make. |

Jakks doesnt need anything next. Their UFC line is outselling Mattel WWE.

There is another company producing wrestling figures.
I don't see jakks doing wwe figures at least not in North America.
To this day the CS line is still my all time favourite.

I don't know what's next for Jakks, but I want more of these... I'm hoping Jakks contact the World Wildlife Fund and see if there is anyway that they'd let them put the scratch logos on a Winged Eagle one. I'm pretty sure if they put a really big WWE logo on the packaging they might let them get away with it. |
