I have been one of TNA's harshest critics for around four years now, because I believe the decisions made by those with the responsibility were not in the interest of the product or the fans. I absolutely gave up on TNA and wished it would be put out of its misery.
Since the re-brand to GFW, and the complete overhaul in both presentation and managing personel, the introduction of new characters and the reintroduction of old favourites, my interest has been piqued again with Impact.
I searched Google to find the time and evening it's shown on Spike, and to my pleasant surprise found that I can watch the full episodes on demand on the Spike website. For the first time in four or five years, I've just watched an episode of Impact, and while still not perfect (so many of these wrestlers have zero connection with the audience and look like CAWs) it is a really fun alternative to WWE.
I have to tip my hat to the guys who took on the burden of the old TNA at Anthem and also to the Jarretts for redirecting the product and making it fun again.
Now we just need to get more characters developing in the under and mid cards and we'll be well on our way.
I also love the new championship belts, specifically the world and X division ones.
Is anyone else being persuaded by recent changes to give GFW a fighting chance?
