Just wondering, what was everyone's favourite Coliseum Videos to watch back in the day??
I used to love to rent WWF's Even More Unusual Matches, WWF Steel Cage Matches, Hulkamania IV, just to name a few.
I ended up purchasing a lot of the ones I always wanted to see or have in the past few years. I don't watch them now, since I have them on DVD, but it's just cool to have them on display in my collection.

I used to watch the first Supertape religiously as a kid. Loved the tag team cage match.

My favorite was Invasion of the Bodyslammers. It had Mr. Perfect Vs Flair, Taker vs. Razor, Shawn Vs Bret, a Battle Royal, the Repo Cam with Repo Man, and Slick trying to teach Kamala how to bowl.

The Supertapes and The best of WWF series comes to mind. I remember going to the video store anytime a new one would release.
Nowadays I have the majority of em on DVD in my personal collection.

Bashed in the USA- because I'm on it! That's awesome. What part are you in? I think it's during the Shawn Michaels feature in his match with Virgil. I'm the little guy in the neon green macho man shirt! My mom is actually in the video as well during a Razor Ramon match I think.

I used to enjoy the 1988 and 1989 PPVs the most when I was a kid. When I got into the teens and early 20s I got more into the 1986 and 1987 tapes. It was all we had as a kid so we liked it but with WWF coming out with the anthology's, it's sad how much Coliseum cut off the PPVs. I also enjoyed the Mean Gene or Sean Mooney intros on some of the PPVs.

Friday night trips to the video store are some of my favorite wrestling memories as a kid. Blockbuster was always good for the latest releases, Palmer Video had a great selection of older PPVs, and Baltic Video, despite being pretty tiny, was good for those Coliseum Exclusive releases like Supertape '92, Bloopers, Bleeps and Bodyslams, etc.
Another cool thing about Baltic, they were the ONLY store that actually honored the "free gift with rental" promotion that was always advertised back then. We got trading cards, tattoos, but my favorite was a Tatanka door-knocker that said "Don't Disturb. Watching WWF." I really wish I still had that thing.
I'm guilty of renting the same dozen tapes over and over again. From the PPV side, I might've set a rental record with Survivor Series '93. I rented it religiously over like a two-year period from Palmer, easily 20-25 times for sure. Definitely wore the tracking out on that tape. Some runner-up PPVs: Royal Rumble '94, Wrestlemania X and the inaugural King of the Ring from '93.
On the non-PPV list, my favorite was Monday Night Raw: Prime Cuts. I only ever saw it at Baltic and it was awesome for a kid who wasn't allowed to stay up to watch Raw back then to get to see some of the best moments from the early days of the show. Honorable mentions: Supertape '92.
I know Netflix is convenient and pretty damn great, but I'm happy to have grown up in the era of going to the store to rent videos. It was a family event in a way, physically going to the store and picking out a good movie to watch together at home. Looking back now, there was just something very bonding and special about the whole experience that I'm sad future generations will never know about.

Rowdy Roddy Piper's Greatest Hits. I used to rent it all the time, then I finally found a mint sealed copy in a clamshell case. I still have it.
I saw a bunch for sale a few weeks ago in an independent record store in PA. $10 each. They had the best of the WWF vol 1-6 & a few others.

I remember having 'Ultimate Warrior', 'Fan Favourites' and 'British Bulldogs' to name a few. I also remember 'Grudges, Gripes & Grunts'! Haha!
Rampage '92 was a favourite, when Warrior and Undertaker teamed up!

It's funny how we complained about the $49.99 or $69.99 price of CHV but we probably paid as much to rent the same videos over and over.

I remember loving the end of the old Coliseum Videos where they would show you what next 3 videos would be coming out.
I do remember they talked about a video on the Junkyard Dog, but that never came to be.
