Well it shouldn't be part of the game. Mattel should dedicate some actual resources and getting good distribution. Basically I think they should be like Pepsi and coke and have a vendor stock there own product. Then they could also pull non selling crap a lot easier. Isn't distribution the stores responsibility? Mattel can't force stores to order newer product. Mattel can't force stores to stock shelves faster. You have 19 year olds stocking the shelves getting paid minimum wage who don't give a crap and barely try or not at all. Pepsi and Coca-Cola vendors constantly bring in new product and cycle old/expired stuff. If they can afford hiring vendors for $3 and $6 packs of sugar water why can't Mattel afford it ?

Mattel just spent a ton of money recalling all there old non selling wwe figures a few months ago at almost every walmart in the states. They already sent mattel reps to pull all those figures. So I don't think it's that dumb at all.

Nope. Ive completely gotten away from the retail hunt. It costs more money and wastes more time than just ordering from RSC. For figures that I only want to pay a retail price and are not that high of priority for me or a figure that is exclusive to a specific store like the Network Sting...I stick with Amazon, ebay and the store's website. That way I am only overpaying slightly through ebay or the store site with shipping.

I love the thrill of the hunt but it also depends on the figure, if I know it's gonna be a hard find in stores then I'll go ahead & buy it online. And here lately buying online has been the norm for me, I wouldn't have half of what I've got if I had to depend solely on stores to get them in stock.

Thats why I just order online. It saves time, expense of your efforts, and pretty much retail price.

Being from the UK, I would say that with the amount of figures that are store exclusives nowadays, I would have given up if I hadn't have gone to Wrestlemania this year and met peepulation469. His help with the TNFs, NXTs etc etc, is honestly what has kept me going. Same with star Wars. They have become a joke. They can't even distibute the regular black series properly, and they have the cheek to do a Barnes and Noble exclusive. I get more joy out of using a save 6 pound voucher, more than once per household, than the actual toy hunt at the moment.

I wouldn't stand a chance with all the exclusives these days being from the U.K. so it's not really worth the effort, unfortunately. It's enough of a challenge for me just keeping up to date with the current Retro's and we're only 2 Series in!

If you were 19 and working at Walmart, would YOU try? Would you bend over backwards so a 30 something year old man child got his toy? & that "sugar water" outsells figures like 1,000,000 to 1. BAD comparison. As far as I'M concerned, I don't mind waiting for figures. It just prolongs me having money in my wallet lol

No. But this really annoys me.... Every figure with a title had the belt stolen. They also had 1each of the new TNF figures and only Seth still had a belt.Which was a good thing as Seth and Elizabeth were the only two I wanted.

I always tend to find my wants but it kills when I found one of the figs I want but don't end up cause it doesn't look good in person or in photos On a random note, why did you get rid of the other avatar with Al putting himself through a table? It was a good 'un. I did it by accident and forgot were the gif was but for you I'll change it

I'm a retail only guy when it comes to this hobby. I've gotten such great deals ($8 elites at Target, $7 elites at WalMart) that I can't bring myself to spend the 20+ online for something that I can eventually find in stores. If I can't or never find someone in stores, I just put that money towards something that I DO have to order online like Code Red, Vinegar, or Redemption Blu-Rays. Vin Syn for life!
