Absolutely does. Absolutely awful news. Christmas and New Years is the few bits of time that the talent gets several days at home.

Who would even go to a Raw event on Christmas day? Didn't think arena's opened either.

Suck for the wrestlers. Also I wonder how many people would want to go to raw on Christmas Day.

Back in the 70s and early 80s, they always ran shows on Christmas night, so this isn't a new thing for pro wrestling.
I know even in the mid 90s, that Smoky Mountain Wrestling would do Christmas night shows. The feeling was, after the presents have been open, the dinner has been eaten, what's left for the night?? How about a live wrestling show then?? Works for the fans, and the talent, as they get paid.

... Why?
I mean, Christmas RAWs always do terrible ratings anyway. Why not just tape it and do something stupid/fun, like Del Rio running over Santa?

Saw that xmas fell on a Monday and was wondering what wwe was gonna do. Pretty cool, but it should just be a best of raw 2017 show.

Oh well. Maybe it'll be better than the phoned, taped holiday shows.
Oh, who am I kidding? It's RAW. It'll still suck.

Must feel pretty great being on SmackDown Live knowing that you don't have to work Christmas Day and New Years lol.

I don't see the huge deal with this. I've been to NBA Christmas Day games, so I'm sure people will want to go to a Christmas Day Raw.
I'm sure the talent will want to spend time with their family though.

Disgusting move. Not only for the wrestlers, but for every single crew member.

I've had to work Christmases and miss time with my family too. I mean, yeah it sucks, but I'm sure they'll all be compensated.
