"Welcome to NWA-TNA Wrestling Global Force Impact Aces & Eights X-Division Wrestling!! We have a great show for you... that is if the talent shows up. Most come in for a cup of coffee and leaves, but no fear, for "Cowboy" James Storm and Abyss are here! And Ethan Carter III will take on the latest wrestler to be released from WWE.... we aren't sure of who it is yet, but we will for sure push him to the NWA-TNA GFW Impact World Global KOTM Title tonight!"

Apparently Cornette may be done with the company already.

Apparently Cornette may be done with the company already. Yeah but it was apparently mutual and Cornett knew he wasn't going to be there for long anyway.

I'm sure it was mutual, but still another on-air character gone after a few weeks. Looks pathetic on TV.

No reason to give valuable air time and name him figure head if you arent using him for the long haul. If you knew this was short term, there was no need for him to become the figure head.

There is part of me that wonders if Jim Cornette took the job just to see first hand how messed up Impact is. Got his look and then said "later!!" He now has more stuff to complain about on his podcasts and commentaries.

I don't know what to say about this company anymore that hasn't been said already. When you think they're heading down the right direction, there's a roadblock in the way. This time, i feel a little bad for Anthem because they invested a lot in rebranding as GFW cause of Jarrett, then Jarrett takes a leave, and because of them rebranding AGAIN, looks like Jarretts gone longer than expected

Anybody who knows me from these boards over the years know I've always pretty much been a die-hard TNA fan...
. .
But I'm finally starting to lose the faith in this company... I just don't know anymore it's a total mess

This has got to be a joke, right? Like, they can't honestly think this is a good thing in any way shape or form. They can't honestly have signed any sort of deal prior to re-branding as Global Force Wrestling that would have even had the possibility of them losing the rights to the name so quickly (presumably now that Jeff Jarrett has left or taken a leave or something)? I mean, that's just business 101. You don't change the name of the company if you don't actually own the new name.

I don't really care what they call it. TNA/GFW/IMPACT is too inconsistent to take seriously.

Anthem is not a pro wrestling company. They depended on JJ to stir the ship. Instead, he tried to sink it. People forget, this is the same guy that kept himself atop of the card for years. He would then cause turmoil for the entire company when he opted to have an affair with one of the top star's wife while all 3 were working for the company and JJ was in a power position. He then returned to "reclaim" TNA and the first thing he did was start a WAR with his 2 most valuable assets and treated them like they were of a secondary importance. AND THEN he brought the over rated Del Rio in who went on to beat his girl friend in another drug induced rage. He then got butt hurt over the Hardys leaving, so he opted to sue them for their own intellectual property laying claim to it. And finally, he convinced Anthem to merge with his own company of GFW, which had ZERO name recognition in the world of wrestling, before finally doing something to get his ass kicked to the curb. The GFW name is worthless. Eventhough TNA is stained in piss and shit...at least people know what it is. GFW is worth about as much as the backyard fed in your neighborhood.
JJ is a hell of a nice guy, but he is a scheyster of a businessman. Ive always hated the Impact name...so I would much rather Anthem come up with something else. Hell....Anthem Pro Wrestling sounds better.

Like I've been saying since the new management took over: Second verse, same as the first.
