So I've been looking at a lot of accessories lately and jakks seemed to have really bizarre stuff
The backstage couch is reasonable but the gear gone badd sludge range is bizarre!
A janitor set which smells of body odour and is a bin with yellow sludge and a broom, messy bathroom set, a bin with blue sludge that smells like rotting fish...
Did anyone have any of these random sets? Worth getting? Do they smell as bad as they sound?

Ah the Jakks septic sludge sets, I brought a whole bunch of these on sale for £2 each about 10 years ago. The sludge would come in a plastic bag, I neve opened it and would throw it in the bin but it was weird smelling. I don’t recall any of my accessories smelling from it but if they did it wore off pretty quick. I brought multiple packs of the set that included a table with the RAW logo (can’t remenber the name), Lazy Rubbish, Medical Mess, Mud Match and Rotten Rubbish.

I'm curious to smell them now.
And they'd probably smell even worse now considering they were made over 15 years ago.

No idea why, but I used to love the Septic Sludge sets as a kid. I remember playing a match between Austin and Nash where the only way to win was to pour the sludge over the opponent. My Back Talkin' Austin is still recovering from that match.

Would these accessories be ok with Mattel in terms of sizing?

Would these accessories be ok with Mattel in terms of sizing? I still use a majority of my Jakks Grapple Gear with Mattel figures. They go pretty well. I never actually purchased the sludge sets, but I have a lot of grapple gear. Pretty much a whole crate full. I know that black, leather breakaway couch, I think that came with like a coffee table with a breakaway tree and a little end table. And maybe even a lamp? It was supposed to be like an office. But I find that brooms, trash cans, and the janitorial trash collectors on a cart, they all go well with the Mattel figures. Even things like the shovel and the barrels go well. This brings back a lot of memories as a kid. Like the back alley brawl sets. And the lunch room set. That came with like a hot dog vending cart, and a soda machine. I even have like a phone booth. And there was one that even came with a Rottweiler dog and a break-away dog house haha. And there was one even with a soft yellow mattress. Gosh there's so much stuff now that I remember. The first ones that I ever got where the Undertaker's buried alive grapple gear set. It came with tombstones, shovel, and a casket.

Ahhhh the grapple gear sets were tremendous! I still remember finding my fav grapple gear set in a department store and going crazy! It was the Raw live set with the production equipment, box and cameraman, loved it! Also got the grapple gear 2 set - with the wheelchair, crutches and stretcher....ahhh good times! I've got a whole load of Jakks accessories in a huge bin bag somewhere in a cupboard. May have to find it now lol.

Had an abundance of chairs and baking trays haha. Still have of various in a storage box. Though looking back, wish I would have picked up more when they were first out.
Ring steps, tall ladders, tables, shopping carts were the best!!
