Hopefully Goldbergs gloves will be the same as The Rocks elbow pads from the series 2 proto pictures and will end up being on the final product! Beard needs to be brown too!

LOL @ most of you expecting Mattel-style detail on Hasbro-esque figures.. I don't think a Brown beard and gloves is too much to ask for/expect detail wise on a Hasbro-esque black trunks version of Goldberg! |

it really feels like there's been a shift in management over at MDT. I don't know if Bill is still in charge or decision-making powers have shifted but MDT's offerings recently in multiple lines have been questionable at best and sucky at worst.
I think they had a cash cow with this retro line, but they don't know how to manage it.

Love it. I know the jumper action feature is not a popular mold but I don't mind it. It actually makes sense with Spear Action.

I think between not being able to find series 2 anywhere (and most stores around me are seemingly never going to sell off their inventory of S1) and the lousy design on the newest protos (save for AJ which looks OK), I think I might be over the nostalgia. These are awful. I'm good with the first series. If I happen to find these, great, if not, I'm done hunting them down if this is going to be the product they give us from here on.

I'm gonna put my honest initial reaction to these before I read others opinions and get a little swayed. Massively disappointed.
Sure, a couple may be better than the other two but these look pretty awful if I have to be honest.
I know these characters have their own colours, give or take, but I really didn't think this line could get less colourful after the first 2 Series.

The last WWE figure I got was Takeover Austin Aries about 2 months ago and once I get DLo and Shamrock thats the last Im buying for a while. |

Yuck, just bad. Now maybe we know why they didn't show photos when the preorder went up. Very disappointed by Goldberg which is the only one I preordered. I'm quickly losing hope that this line will be anything I hoped for sadly. Completely agree. Sadly, if I had only entered this line now, I don't think I'd bother with them. Fingers crossed for some better designs for the next Series. |
