Entrance Stages, are they actually necessary?

yeah, they are. I started watching wrestling in the 80's and have a lot of nostalgia for the simple big WWF logo above the entrance or even the video wall next to it that would display a wrestlers logo during the early 90's. But the entrance stages circa 99-2008 added so much personality to a show. the large KOTR throne, the swinging hooks for Backlash, the trucks of No Way OUt 2002. Each event felt like it was special. That is well and truly gone these days as personality is lacking throughout the whole damn product!
