Prob not, I'm surprised he hasn't been released from the company yet. I'm waiting for a kassius ohno elite. Maybe for next elite Series 3.

He's been with WWE since 2014, but over 2 years of that time has been spent on the DL.....I don't think he's a top priority at Mattel right now. He's gotta stay healthy for a decent period of time first.

Every time he gets relevant he gets injured. Mattel wants to sell figures and having a guy that is irrelevant have an elite isn't the best way to sell.
He should have won the NXT title when he faced Roode. That would have guaranteed a figure of him, too.

I do wonder what could've been if he wasn't injured. He was getting a monster push. Him doing the GTS for the first time went viral. He was the only NXT guy in the Andre Battle Royal. He was likely to win the #1 contender 3 way match and go on to dethrone Kevin Owens in Tokyo.

Yeah i had high hopes for the guy who inspired Punk an Bryan but hes been shelved for so long. Feel bad if he had a decent deal before and now is stuck in a contract

It's sad how much of a bust he ended up being. He was one of the first huge NXT signings, and has been surpassed by all that came after him due to several unfortunate injuries and poor booking. And now that WWE has that huge Japanese star in Nakamura, his future does not look as bright. They made such a big deal of him when he was the only NXT star at the time to appear at WrestleMania and everything, yet sadly his greatest achievement was (kayfabe) introducing Finn Balor... Would love to have an elite with the gi though.

At the Comic-Con panel my friend and I -- I thiiiiiiiiiink he's actually going to be on Total Divas because they had him sign a release after he asked a question to deliberate rile the panel and crowd) -- were sitting behind what I'm assuming were the rest of the WWE Design team (they were wearing the same shirts Bills was). One of them and my friend were bantering back and forth (largely because my friend has unrealistic expectations about how quickly they can churn out an Elite Jinder and the guy called him out as probably not even wanting an elite Jinder six months ago).
ANYHOW, long story short (too late), my friend also was bitching about no elite Itami and the dude said it was "coming within a year."
So...take that for what it's worth. Not Bill specifically and Lord knows if plans have changed but they were / are at least working on it.

Better question, will Hideo Itami ever see the main roster?
I'm surprised Mattel is wasting time making a second figure of this guy. To give him an Elite spot would be a bigger waste than when they gave Tugboat an Elite spot.
