Apologies for how vague this question is but, do you guys have any tips for making universe mode more fun and less work? I've tried just relying on the game to create whatever storyline/rivalries/match cards it wants but It always ends up disappointing. I'm assuming to make it worth playing I'm just going to have to micromanage everything and book accordingly how I want things to play out and hope that the game itself doesn't throw anything in the mix to make things not make sense. Pretty much what you said about micromanaging everything could be the way to go. I went with a challenging task with micromanaging 6 territories in my Universe (which i have to use exhibition mode for now since i can't edit anything if the show uses custom anything without Universe Mode freezing). Jeez, that's a pain. I love the concept of universe mode but I feel like its not living up to the potential of what it could be.

Decided to stick with just doing PPV's. I'll post a preview of the cards a few days before I do the shows.
Backlash: The Bálor Club (Gallows & Anderson) vs The Shield (Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose). Following their war at WrestleMania, Gallows & Anderson cost Reigns & Ambrose a shot at the RAW Tag Team Championships. The following week, Anderson pinned Ambrose with help from Gallows and that led to a brawl between the two teams. On the last episode of RAW before Backlash, G&A delivered a Magic Killer to Ambrose on the stage. Which team will survive this battle?
Intercontinental Championship Match: Jeff Hardy(c) vs. The Miz w/ Maryse. The Miz attacked Jeff the night after WrestleMania, hitting him with a Skull Crushing Finale after a hard hitting match against AJ Styles. The following week, Miz won a Fatal 4 Way #1 Contenders Match to earn this match. Last week on RAW, Miz & Neville won a Tag Team Match against Hardy & Cedric Alexander after interference from Maryse. After that, Jeff said he had a plan to counter Maryse at Backlash. What is his plan? And will it be successful? Or will Miz begin another Intercontinental Championship reign?
RAW Tag Team Championship Match: The Revival(c) vs. Sheamus & Cesaro. Sheamus & Cesaro earned this opportunity by defeating The Shield. The Revival had shown respect towards their challengers in recent weeks but it was all a mind game as The Revival laid out Sheamus & Cesaro after a match last week and set about working over Sheamus' leg, softening him up for their Championship clash. Have The Revival already won? Or can Sheamus & Cesaro fight back and reclaim the RAW Tag Team Titles?
Cruiserweight Championship Match: Cedric Alexander(c) vs. Neville. Neville brutally attacked Alexander the night after WrestleMania, attacking his arm with a Steel Chair before locking him in The Rings of Saturn until officials managed to pull him off. Alexander returned fire the following week, laying into Neville with vicious Chair shots to the back. Neville would pin Alexander the following week in a Tag Team Match then announced he would be using his rematch clause at Backlash before hitting Alexander with another Red Arrow. Can Cedric turn back the challenge? Or will "The King of the Cruiserweights" rule again?
Alexa Bliss, Peyton Royce & Billie Kay vs. Emma, Paige & Summer Rae. Emma called Paige & Summer to ring the night after their Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania, saying it was a long time coming for them and offering each a handshake. As the crowd gave the three women a standing ovation, Alexa Bliss interrupted. She said that while those three built the NXT Women's Division, those that came after surpassed them and it was time to "put the past back in the past". At that point, Kay & Royce jumped Paige & Summer from behind and as Emma tried to help, Bliss attacked her from behind. The 6 women have been at each other's throats since. Will this settle the score? Or just serve to make the issue worse?
Universal Championship Match: Bray Wyatt(c) vs. AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins vs Finn Bálor. Following his shocking return at WrestleMania, Wyatt claimed he would be the most dominant Universal Champion ever and would take on all comers. GM Angle decided to make a Fatal 4 Way for the Universal Championship and the qualifying matches saw Rollins def. Karl Anderson, Bálor def. Kane and Styles (who came over to RAW during the post WM draft) def. Roman Reigns. The three challengers faces off in a Triple Threat Match last week on RAW, which saw Rollins pick up the win before Wyatt, and his Family, laid out all three men. Will Wyatt kick off his promised reign of dominance? Or will the words of "The Eater of Worlds" come back to haunt him?

Created a 2nd universe for the first time. It's a Super Indy Universe. My 2 major shows are NJPW and ROH. My monthly PPV is a PWG show where NJPW and ROH meet. WrestleKingdom, Final Battle, and Best in the World are my only other PPVs.
Monday is NJPW TV (medium size arena), Tuesday is NJPW live event (Armory). Friday is ROH TV (Hammerstein) and saturday is ROH live event (High school gym).
So far it's been the most fun I've had with Universe. Shinsuke vs Brock for the IWGP title has been amazing. As well as ReDragon vs the Elite.
