Anyone else really enjoy these? I kind of liked how they were. Little But smaller than the RA or whatever else was out at the time. I def think they are very under appreciated. I still have mine somewhere in a box. Part of me wants to try and collect the line again. Any check lists floating around? I know there isn't many sets

This line is still by far my favorite for realism detail, thanks to the scans of heads and bodies, plus the actual proportions of the superstars.

I did until they went crazy with the Austin torso. My personal favorites were Series 4 Triple H, Series 1 Benoit & Series (?) Jericho in green tights. (But series 1 was really nice also) Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash as well as the two Exclusive Triple H figures (sweat pants with white shirt and black shirt) were nice also. Angle was a nice figure, but they ruined him by placing his knee joint to low on the leg.

There were some figures I think that they did very, very well (Kane, Hardys, Angle) then there were others that were total head scratchers based on the body parts used. I blame their inconsistently as to why they aren't remembered more fondly.

When I first started buying Mattel figures, I got a bunch of R3 figures to fill in omissions. Their scale was really close to Mattel. In fact, my Kurt Angle has been a R3 Kurt with DA head. The scale works really well.

I was blown away when I first saw them in my friend's house one day after school. Especially by the likes of Big Show and Kane. Some of them don't hold up too well now that we have Mattel. Guys like Rock, Austin, Rhyno and Triple H obviously look much better in Mattel form, but they were damn good for their time and some of them, to this day still look amazing.

Would you count the CS Andre the Giant and numerous Big Shows in the RA and Adrealine line as R3 as well since they technically were.

I had a few which were good figures but compared to my TTLs I didn’t like them mainly because of how thin the arms and legs looked. I had Matt & Jeff Hardy, Big Show, Kane, Hulk Still Rules 3-Pack, NWO Hogan, Hall & Nash. Again, all very well done figures but they stood out like inconsistencies in my mainly TTL collection. The R3 Kurt Angle had the best non-bald scan and torso mold ever though! Never understood the deal with the arched back torso either? Yikes..

Booker T and the Big Show were the first figures I got when this line came out. I loved the attitude Booker T's figure portrayed, which was appropriate as it was the Attitude Era. I didn't quite understand the arched back either, unless it was supposed to add to the macho posturing. The fact that some of 'em moved individual fingers was amazing to me, as I probably had TTL figures up to that point, so this was a step up. They were smaller than the other lines, but this was their attempt at real scales and real scans, so I feel like it can be forgiven, as they weren't using the cookie cutter scale method that later gave us giant Bearer and Mysterio.

The Jeff Hardys were really quite well done. I wasn't crazy about the arched back and while some figures lookes realistic because of their thinner limbs, some did not. This line was overall a cut above Ruthless figures which I thought were a step backwards in body sculpts.

Yeah but I don't think many people would count them as another figure since it was literally the same figure rereleased The did have a one strap Andre that wasnt quite a straight re-release if I am not mistaken. I agree on Big Show his R3 figure was perfect they never needed to really change it during the early RA era. Andre i personally would count as another final R3

I loved the R3 line, felt like such an upgrade to me at the time.
One thing i hated though was the very loose knee joint some of them seem to have! Christian from the DDP 2-pack was the worst and Big Show.. Maybe cos how he was packaged. Test and Billy in Red suffered too.

What put me off the R3's was the huge dent many of the shirtless wrestlers had on their back.

Loved the realism and scale. Benoit was a vanilla midget while Nash was Big Sexy. Far superior than RA...

What put me off the R3's was the huge dent many of the shirtless wrestlers had on their back. It's like the molds were trying to recreate how they'd look if they were getting poked in the back with a sharp stick.

Really always liked the look of the Hardyz from the line. Specifically the ones in their Mesh style shirts. Currently looking for them now, didn't realize they were rereleased that many times!
