For 20+ years we were lead to believe that Mean Mark from wCw died, was reborn a zombie reaper, burned his family alive, had a love affair with motorcycles, died again, buried his father figure in cement, couldn't sell for Dallas Page, couldn't be defeated at Wrestlemania and nobody complained. It was the norm. So as dumb as this Sister Abigail story seems, it can't be any weirder than what we've seen before. That started in 1990. Completely different era. I see your point, tho.

It was awful. Bray is dead anyway. He isn't very good in the ring, never has been, and his character is beyond stale. He does the same promo over and over, and all he is is an entrance now, that fans do because it looks cool and feels cool more than because they like him.
At this point he may as well win the Raw Women's Title

Bray has had a bad year, it just continues with this latest storyline.

I just wished they kept the Wyatt family together.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy Jacobs came up with this idea. After all he was the zombie princess in ROH.

It took me a minute or two to get my head around what was happening, but it makes sense to me. It's as though Sister Abigail is the powerful spirit, and she possesses Bray Wyatt. We know they can't ever really introduce a physical female character as it will never live up to anybody's imagination of her, so it makes sense for her to possess Bray. I just think the delivery was bordering on the comical, and I think it largely came down to the cheesy warped graphic for his transformation, followed by the autotune.
Perhaps, if they hadn't tried to make the devil's voice sound female it wouldn't have come out like a chipmunk. If anything, a series of events following No Mercy should had led to Wyatt gradually becoming possessed, much like they even do in Paranormal Activity films etc. It's a slow burn, everybody would start to get on board that Abigail is a spirit and she's trying to use Bray's body as her vessel. Eventually, come the go home show for TLC, Wyatt would experience the full traumatic event of finally becoming possessed, and the autovoice could have literally just said 'I'm Here'. That would have delivered so much better, and added to Bray's personality each week. It would also have stopped many people's confusion at the fact he suddenly out of nowhere transformed into Sister Abigail.

Bray as Sister Abigal is about as good as when Hogan was in the Dungeon of Doom and he touches the water and said "AHHHH!!! It's not hot!"

When they first announced he was going to be a demon named Sister Abigail, I was actually intrigued by Bray Wyatt for the first time ever and I can't stand the guy.
A painted up Balor vs. a painted up Bray sounded like a decent idea.
Until last Monday.
So you're telling me he is going to be a painted up Bray Wyatt in drag claiming to be a female spirit with a terrible voice-over? No, I am sorry. Can't do it.
Finn deserved better the very first night of the shakeup where they teased him feuding with Bray and they really dragged this nonsense out far too long. I feel bad for Finn.

Nothing against him, but Bray has just never done much for me. And this last Sister Abigail angle is Ultimate Warrior/Papa Shango kinds of silly.
The way they've booked him since debuting certainly hasn't helped. He has the whole creepy promo thing down to a science I'll give him that. It's just all feeling really stale. Same thing pretty much every week for four years now. No matter how good or bad a gimmick/character is, after a while you need to shake it up just to keep it fresh.
Bray needs some kind of overhaul.

The voice is probably what ruined everything for me.
Everything else is super cool. Sister Abigail possessing Bray and making him this dominant beast with her help is awesome.
