Wrestlers will often debut a new theme that perfectly fits them but for some reason will be replaced by lesser themes. Here are some of those themes. Hulk Hogan- Real American (1984-1993; 2006-today)
This is the theme you think of when someone says Hulk Hogan. It perfectly fits Hogan's character in the '80s, it felt like it was written for him. However after his 2002 return and his face turn at Mania X8, he was given the weird theme of Voodoo Child by Jimmy Hendrix a theme that didn't fit with him. It didn't fit his character unlike American Made during his run in WCW, it was a weird change that just didn't feel right.
Kane- Slow Chemical (2002-2008)
This theme is freaking awesome. Every time you heard the opening, you knew something was going down. The theme after, veil of fire, was pretty much just a crappy remake of the theme prior to Slow Chemical. (Also I think it's just me but doesn't the singer sound like the guy from Panic! at the disco?)
CM Punk -This fire burns (2006-2011)
This theme was the best theme ever given to Punk, sure Cult of Personalty was good but this is way better. (If he ever does come back to WWE, he should come back with this theme.)
John Cena -World Life (2003-2005)
He should've kept the theme and the gimmick. At lest it was original (unlike his current gimmick Hulk Hogan 3.0) and the theme was catchy, but we'll never see it ever again will we? (2012 doesn't count) Well those were themes that should've been kept, did you like it? Tell me which themes you think should've been kept down below.

Kane (to this date) had two themes after Slow Chemical. "Man on Fire" (2008-2011) and Veil of Fire (2011-Present). I think Man on Fire was his worst theme but the current one is great. Slow Chemical is also great, as is the original but my favourite is "Out of the Fire" from 2000-2002.

The original is called "Burned" and sounds more "80's/90's" sounding while Out of the Fire is more modern/heavy sounding and has a few elements that the older version doesn't. Have a listen: Burned: Out of the Fire:

Hogan deff used voodoo child in wcw. Exactly, I don't know how you wouldn't know Voodoo Child originated from his nWo run. It was basically his solo theme when part of the black and white. And likely the reason why they used in in 2002, was because, when you look at it, he was kinda of a mix of both Hulk Hogans. He was still billed as Hollywood Hogan, wearing the long, tie died tights, feather boas, the black beard with the blond mustache but he was also wearing the red and yellow.

I wish they kept this theme for The Mountie...
IMO it's way better than his 2nd theme.

You need to change your name, because clearly you are not a Hulkamaniac.

The point is that theme sucked. End of story Just change your name man. It's kind of funny and ironic that your name is Hulkster2001, the year Hulk Hogan didn't do anything in Professional Sports Wrestling Entertainment. Voodoo Child fit Hollywood perfectly at the time.

For someone named Hulkster he doesn't know a lot about Hulk Hogan

I choose the name because he's my favorite wrestler period. Plus I'm not the only one on this forum with a weird nickname.

Punks theme was soooo god awful...Cult of Personality was so much better and the lyrics fit him and the time he was having in WWE oh so well. No Kane theme should ever have singing in it...EVER! The theme wasnt terrible but jesus you dont give Kane some sorry ass lyrics and expect people to think "Oh crapthis guy is a monster" While Ill always love Real American, it didnt fit in 2002...but El Oh ing El not knowing Voodoo Child debuted in WCW during his nWo run...more specifically I believe it was Rodman's theme when he was running with Hogan and then Hogan kept it

You can overlook not knowing about a mid careers theme etc but not one of the biggest names ever that's your favourite. Maybe we need to move on with this lol

Hey if he's young he wouldn't know because due to copyrights Voodoo Child isn't on the Network as far as I know. I'll say even though it's one of the best classic rock songs of all-time (and the best Hendrix song) it's great for NWO but good guy Hogan in WWE should always have Real American, so I'll agree with his main point.

Fair point. If the only way he's seen it is on the network then his comment would make sense Do love me some "real American" theme by the way
