So I finally got moved into my new place and have stockpiled parts and figures for customs to work on, and I have a few queries. I got this nice Savage sculpt on ebay, but not sure how to secure the head to the peg. It sits really well but of course its just sitting there, the hole needs to be worked on so it will hold the peg. Any suggestions on ways to secure it, preferably ones that will allow me to remove it if I want to? Also any suggestions on the paint so it will match the body? This Pentagon head I got from someone on FB, but it was based off a Mattel sculpt so it looks kind of small to my eyes, thoughts? The flaps on the mask didnt last long as you can see so im probably gonna sculpt some on or possibly try sculpting my own if that is a better option

In both cases, I would say try some JB Weld Plastic Weld, which you can find at Wal Mart in the auto section. For Savage, I'd fill in the peg hole a bit with the JB Weld, then if you've got one, use a mini rotary tool to smooth it out for easy peg removal, so it isn't loose, but isn't just gonna fall off. If you haven't got a mini rotary, go to your local Wal Mart and buy a kit, I don't think they run more than $20, and mine's made up for it in years of use. You might be able to sculpt some more sturdy flaps for that Pentagon with the JB Weld, though it does look a little small, like you said. Are you dead set on Pentagon on a deluxe aggression body? Even an RA would reduce the size disparity a bit.
Paint is going to be a challenge, I've seen a lot of the folks here basically mix colors until they get the tone as close as they can to where it needs to be. Whether you buy some Americana or Folkart acrylics and do some mixing experiments with those, or go more upscale with Citadel paints or the like, I'm not sure there's a perfect recipe outside of trial and error.

Ill have to look into that, seems simple enough
All i do is DA Customs, the only ones in my collection that arent are non wrestlers; managers and such, it would look out of place in my collection otherwise

I ought to have clarified, as it seems there is JB Weld Plastic Weld resin, which is a glue-like stuff. I use the epoxy stick that you tear off and knead to a uniform color.
