I'm not the OP but I understand you may not have had time to read that between your bitching about me. Which is why i said ops entire post, not your entire post. Ill tell ya what, im done with this beyond stupid exchange or this beyond stupid thread...so go ahead and reply, get the last word so you can feel like a big man, and have yourself a wonderful day. Also, just to be clear, OP, its still over dramatic and nothing is riding on ringside fest. Nothing.

I know my post may seem like I’m bitching, but I am simply trying to covey that this time 12 months ago, everything Mattel was doing was really engaging me as a long time collector (of not just Mattel, but wrestling figures). And recently the seemingly change in direction (towards NXT and re-issues) has me less engaged and considering shifting my collecting habits (hot toys maybe). I am hopeful that Ringside Fest has a bunch of figures that re-engages me as a collector, as there has been less and less of recent times (for my personal collecting habits). I was interested to know if any others were like me. It is not an attack on any collector (who likes the current direction) or Mattel efforts to make money. So for a 20 plus year collector - there is something riding on RSF for me personally. Surely U don’t begrudge someone getting opinions from fellow collectors on a wrestling figure forum - where opinions are shared?

I'm so glad that I like and collect both modern and flashback figures so none of this war of attrition among the different collector sects on here phase me. Sure, there are plenty of older wrestlers I would love to see. But I'm not threatening to quit if they don't cater to my whims. Y'all sounding like the wrestling figure collector version of a smark.

I agree. I love the Elite Mattel Figures and the great Scale. But need those older legends. I don't care if they are 1 or two in the mix - if there is a Legends Line - if you have to order them on-line ... something ... but I want them. WWE does so many great things including the network and honoring the past ... but man do they like to squash legends and they need to keep all people engaged.

You flashback guys had a good run from the late 30s up to around 51 or 52. Itll come back around. All im saying is stop overreacting and let the nxt/cruiserweight/current main roster fans have their time. It all comes and goes in cycles. Just look at it as saved money for a year or two and then itll be you guys turn again.

Mattel doesn't care about flashback collectors anymore. It's one thing to cut way back on them, but another to keep us hanging here with no info about where we go from here. It's a big turn-off. Sadly they just rot on the shelf in most stores because kids don't know who they are and to be honest I'm not prepared to spend £20 on someone I no nothing about
