I'll check out the show tonight but man NWA:TNA/TNA/Impact Wrestling/Global Force Wrestling...ect has really fallen off in terms of big named talents.I get that they have money issues and are cutting cost and trying to push younger cheaper guys but the drop off from years gone by is massive.You hand guys like Sting,Jarrett,Hogan,Flair,Styles,Roode,Joe,Young,Dudley Boyz,Hardy Boyz,Rhyno,Raven,Daniels,Kaz,MCMG...ect and now their left with Del Rio(whom they should have released,hes a total mess right now),Lashley & Morrison as their only semi bigger named talent and have very few true TNA guys left in the company for older fans in only Abyss,Storm(rumored to be on his way out),Dutt,Williams,Homicide,Konnan & Kim(who's retiring) just shambles of what they once where.
I hope the show is good tonight and that they can get the company in better order and shape and bring in some well know indy talent and a few decent sized names soon.

I'd rather Patron not come back either since he's probably costing them a decent amount. He's had good matches and been a team member but has been one hell of a headache in terms of his personal life. Reminds me of the Hardys pre-sobriety.

I'm guessing Rosemary gets added to the title match. I'd like to see her get the belt back, tbh. Real ing bummer that the match with Taya isn't happening until January, since that was what I was most anticipating tonight. |

Jimmy Jacobs! Let's see Jericho really ruffle some feathers and join his scribe!
The Gail match was pretty good. It's a very nice sendoff for her. The crowd, which has been flat, got up for her. (They liked Storm, as well, got into the tag- loved Petey, of course.)
The cage match was very cool. Moose performed well and Top Team made it fun.

Jacobs came onto the ramp, then over to Jeremy Borash. Borash questioned why he was there since he doesn't work for the company. Jacobs insinuated that he does now.
The main event finish was predictable, but Alberto's interference made it livelier. The last match itself was crisp. I liked it! Eli and Johnny worked very hard.
The production tonight looked very professional. It was a satisfying pro wrestling PPV.

I didn't see the show but according to pwinsider, as soon as Gail won her retirement match they cut to a backstage promo. That's real classy! Why not show her celebrating a little or cut a promo?

Clearly pressed for time. Not sure how they screwed up the pace of the show, considering they dropped an entire match due to Taya not being able to travel. Drake/Impact was the best match of the night. They had great chemistry and Johnny's slide under the rail was a very cool spot. Too bad El Cabron ruined the end. Shocked at the double turn of OVE/LAX. Didnt make much sense. Loved Jimmy Jacobs debut, Tyson Dux appearance, Ishimori appearance and Sami debut. I hope Jacobs is more than just an on air talent. Would love to see him get the book. |
