Yellow singlet has been released as a basic figure:



I would like to see this attire released as an elite with a better torso then they used on the existing 2 elite figures.  This fig has a black patch on the back but I have also seen Curt wearing a yellow singlet with a blue patch on the back so they could make that version of the singlet just to make it different from the basic figure- shorter knee pads would be nice too as those 'leg sleeves' (as some refer to them) look terrible IMO.

I'm a little confused of what you are saying in your post. Are you saying that they the basic figure in yellow that Mattel released is the same attire he is wearing in the Mr. Perfect and Roddy Piper photo? Because it is not, the one in the photo vs piper Mr. Perfect is wearing a green singlet with a yellow triangle on the back, the basic figure is wearing a yellow singlet with a black triangle on the back. The only other time I have seen Mr. Perfect wearing a green singlet was at WM 5 vs. the Blue Blazer which was completely green, no other color on his tights. And, at survivor series 1989, he wore a green singlet with a black triangle on the back. 

And yes, Mr. Perfect wore a yellow singlet with a blue triangle on the back, at Summer Slam 1990 (picture below), Survivor Series 1990, and Royal Rumble 1991. Not sure about house shows and WWF Superstars t.v. show.

I want that lime green Mr. Perfect in that Snuka/Rude picture in elite form. If we only get one more Perfect, I really hope it's that lime green one.

Need a more arrogant face yes. But for now it all comes to paintjob. I got 2 on my following list on a certain website where I can buy them Same headsculpts but really look different, just because of the way the eyes are painted for example.

Green?

The singlet in the first pic looks yellow to me, the singlet in the second pic with Snuka & Rude is Green.  Perhaps its my color blindness kicking in- what shade of Green is the singlet in the first pic?!

In any event, I hope I am wrong but I don't see Mattel releasing another Mr. Perfect elite as they have already released 2- most likely we will get another basic which sucks.  They need to release another elite to correct the torso- Green or Yellow would be my color choices, anything but black.  Also, with all the budget related cutbacks going on, I doubt they would make another head sculpt especially if its only going to be used once.  Although if there is enough demand for more Curt Hennig figs they could do another elite and basic so they would use the new sculpt twice.

Yes, I am sure the front part of the singlet is light green and the triangle on the back is yellow. There seems to be a bright spot in the center of hennigs body making it harder to see the different between the green and yellow. His legs show more of a green color. But I agree with you, they do need to do a new head sculpt.
