I picked up a couple Ultimate Warriors when they were initially released but wasn’t as big of a collector then. So I missed out on a lot. Always liked the packaging.
I really dig how they released a lot of older guys, some guys we may never see released again or never even worked or wwe.
Any favorites or notabale releases?

I absolutely loved CS2 Ric Flair when it came out. It was an incredible figure for it's time. Still have it. George Steele from the same series was pretty cool too. And I love CS8 Hogan in the red & yellow. I still have all of those.

Did you have the real hair version or the painted version?

That real hair Steele probably tops my list, as I don't expect to see another like it ever again. The 70s Andre the Giant is still one of my top favorites, I don't think there's been a better Andre made by Mattel yet. Akeem makes me smile every time I see that figure, thanks to the bright colors and big smile of the African Dream. So many of the guys on the CS roster came from the territory days, it was epic! I still hope to pick up the Original Sheik someday. He's none too easy to find.

Jakks nailed so many classics and they don’t get their due respect. Once Mattel came a lot of people including myself thought the bodies were better. George Steele was amazing, the warriors were all pretty well done too. The Flairs too, great robes and great figures. Wish Mattel would have done more. Rowdy Piper looked good, Yoko was pretty on point too.

Plus CS released a lot of guys Mattel hasn’t and perhaps won’t ever make. I like that JAKKS made a bunch of non wwe guys as well. @ballparkb0b What was the I Quit 2 pack? Which I Quit match??

I remember there being several different variants of the figure too with different volumes of hair. I had that version too. Should still have it stored away somewhere in my attic with my other RA style figures. I didn't know about the other variants. I know they did a few accessory variants in that wave with Big John Studd.

CS14 Sherri was hands down my favorite figure from Jakks. The detail was surprisingly on spot for the time. She came out in What like ‘07? I felt like, at that time, Jakks was doing a lot of half as*ed work. Especially with the CS line. The details on Sherri were really awesome though. I was shocked they completed her gear design on the back and the red laces were fantastic! Even her gloves her spot on! I remember speaking to Sherri prior to her figure even being announced. I had said something about her attires being way too fantastic for Jakks to capture. I think she agreed. But they really captured the entire outfit as well as they possibly could at that time.
When I was a teen, I really liked all the manager figures from CS. But looking back most of them are terrible. Bearer, Heenan and Hart were all really cool figures. However the height killed them for me even back then. I just think that by the RA era that Jakks would have had height/weight issues figured out. So based solely on that fact I just don’t like most of the CS figures I used to as a kid.

Bret Hart from the Wrestlemania 13 Ringside Exclusive 2 Pack was my favorite CS figure. Behind that would probably be CS19 Evil Doink because I had requested it to Jeremy in a Q+A and shortly after it was made
