That last run wasn't his fault. He came back as "Hollywood Star" Batista, at least in their eyes, and they threw him to the Universe that way. I'd love to see him back under the right circumstances. Heeltista was always great, and "The Animal" was a quality monster face character

Heeltista was always great, and "The Animal" was a quality monster face character I think most will agree with that, it was Vince's stubbornness, and being a bit out of touch that caused the failure. Batista even talked about knowing the way they were brining him back would fail.

As long as we get more Bluetista out of it.

I'd love one more Batista vs Triple H match. I want Batista to be that one guy Triple H can't defeat one on one. Maybe make it a retirement match. Everyone will assume Dave would lose, but he wins and retires The Game.

I feel like I’ve heard this before but on another podcast (I think Jericho’s) 🤔 nonetheless I’ll listen to this one too. I hope he gets his match though, he deserves better than the WM30 fiasco.

I'm a fan of Batista but Braun/Brock are really the only matches I'd wanna see.

I can get behind this idea.

I was never a big Batista fan, but he got better with time and is certainly one of the last big names we have.

If Brock chooses not to re-sign once his deal is up after WrestleMania, then I could see them really amping up their efforts to bring Batista back. But after the way they treated him during his last run and Triple H and Stephanie laughing in his face at the thought of Guardians becoming a Blockbuster, I think the only way he'd agree to come back is under his terms. I always loved Batista once his singles run got under way, and he's proven to have a really good mind for the business in every interview I've ever seen from him.

I like Batista, he seems like he really knows the game, I remember him saying he knew his return would be a flop cause they wanted him to be face, he knew Daniel Bryan was the most over guy and his return and super push would only upset the fans. Brock vs Batista is a thing we're yet to see.

I say let him come back under his own terms.

Didn't he say not too long ago that he would never return on TV, and that he would only come back to do live events?
Either way, it's nice that he changed his mind. I wouldn't mind a Batista return.

I'd love to see him back, but he doesn't owe WWE a thing after the way they treated him in 2014.

WWE has consistently been one of the biggest media whores of all time for well over 30 years and the most laughable thing they've ever done in that regard has to be not getting behind Batista's movie stardom...

I bet they’re really kicking themselves for doubting Marvel Studios now.
Bring him back, I always liked Batista as a heel and a face, and he’s really proving himself to be a capable actor on his own. Vince and Co. have more to gain in this than Big Dave does.
