Anthem Sports & Entertainment appointed Scott D’Amore and Don Callis as Executive Vice Presidents of Impact Wrestling. The two will be reporting to Ed Nordholm and together they will form a 3-member Executive Committee with overall responsibility for developing the creative direction for Impact Wrestling and managing the execution of the Company’s business plan.
Don Callis, who was previously better known as Cyrus and The Jackal, has worked both as a commentator and part of creative for WWE, ECW, and TNA. He is presently the color commentator for New Japan Pro Wrestling, a role that he will retain.
Scott D’Amore has done pretty much everything in the wrestling business and is one of the TNA Originals, having worked for the company since its first days till 2010 and then again from 2014 onwards.
“I am excited that Don and Scott have made this commitment to the Company,” said Ed Nordholm, president of Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions, LLC. “The 50 years of experience and success in the wrestling industry brought by Don and Scott, combined with the global media, marketing, sales and financial expertise of Anthem, provide the management depth and expertise that will propel IMPACT Wrestling to greater success as we continue to expand our footprint, embrace digital opportunities and grow the brand.”

Great.... Impact Wrestling has become Border City Wrestling.
Maybe somehow Scott D'Amore will put himself into a story line where he becomes the Impact Global Champion.

Hey look at that, a change happening in the behind the scenes working in Impact, what a shock! What's the over/under on how long until Callis and/or D'Amore are announced as parting ways with the company?

Eh..............that is all. Look Impact is just another indy promotion at this point, so it doesn't really matter who they put in executive roles. Great for Scott D'Amore and Don Callis for getting the jobs, but its not like them getting the jobs is something thats going to give Impact momentum

Hopefully Scott bring back the Hugh Morris gimmick and overcome allegations in WWE. He was always a good guy and he should of been US champ in WWE but Vince was "offended" funny that he wasnt offended when it was him and Sable LOL. But anyway glad to have em TNA could win a bunch of fan if they keep up the momentemum. Overall TNA has got it in the bag when it comes down to raw talent (but not talent from RAW LOL). All in all good for TNA

Here’s something they are doing right!! www.cagesideseats.com/2018/3/9/17103120/ring-of-honor-16th-anniversary-austin-aries-kenny-king-impact-njpwThe only possible way to beat WWE, or at the very least, become 1B, would be if every promotion got together and formed an actual World Wrestling Federation. This is a brilliant first step in the only direction they can go on. Cross promotion matches, then cross promotion feuds, then cross promotion stables, then cross promotion Champions. This would really make the WWE pay attention to those who are “not competition”.

Im all for cross promoting between different promotions. However, this is not in any way going to create competition for WWE. Its gonna take Ted Turner money and for WWE to go back to the days where there was no compete clauses and wrestlers could easily show up on another company the day after, in order to become competition. Again, i agree they're doing a great thing here cross promoting with ROH.
