Hi there, idk where else to put this so please delete if not allowed but I figured this was worth a shot... anyways, I recently bought this unreleased proto of a marble shooter on that online auction site and in the description it says “check wrestlingfigs” and that the seller is a respected member here. Only problem is the sellers name is some fake looking name and from China so now I’m getting worried now that a month has passed. Anyone know who posted it? Here’s the figure:

Sounds like a fraudulent eBay account based on reputable WF member STOMWIJF's recent eBay auctions. Search the sold listings for UNPRODUCED prototype WWF Ultimate Warrior marble shooter WWE maybe Hasbro and you'll find the real thing.

Only our previous mod Stomwijf (a respected and savant collector) has sold unproduced marble shooters (painted Warrior, unpainted wax Hogan) on eBay. He's from the Netherlands and definitely reliable.

I believe member, rvd3434, owns this. Yep. forum.wrestlingfigs.com/post/8337241/threadFunny I asked as a Chinese seller is selling this on that auction site. I’d buy one except has 0 ratings & nothing else for sale. Maybe even hijacked your photo Yeah these are one of a kind. Chinese sellers are doing that with a lot of listings. Hasbro's and LJN's are big targets, they pop up daily and the sellers are always from China. Fake scams using the descriptions and photos from original legit listings. They don't just target wrestling products, they do it with a lot of toy lines.

There were tons of crazy low priced rare items showing up from China last month. I reported tons, looks like they've stopped showing up for now, haven't seen one in a couple weeks. All different account names with 0 feedback stealing others photos. Report them if you catch anymore.

So the "seller" put an estimated arrival date of 12/11 thru 1/12. PP and Auction Site won't even begin to look into it until it has reached that date. Thank God this was only 20 bucks.

You got played my friend. A buddy of mine owns that. Both the painted and unpainted. Also there’s an unpainted hogan.
I saw this relisted and copy&pasted under a Chinese name with 0 feedback(<— 1st red flag). Knowing what I know, I quickly purchased it ($15 <— 2nd red flag) then quickly emailed the seller asking for more pictures already expecting no reply. I then let him know that if I do t get a reply that I’d report him, which I did. That way ebay sees the message. I explained to them that it was a copy and paste listing and I then got fully refunded.
I did this to prevent anyone else from getting scammed but apparently the second time it was listed the it unfortunately got someone. I remember also reported that 2nd listing.

How long did you wait to contact eBay and how did you contact them? I basically can’t until that arrival date passes unless there’s another way to do it

I had the same thing happen with a lot of hasbros, it made me wait until the day after the arrival date, but I filed and they gave me the money back no problem.

Thanks for the heads up and letting me know I’m not alone in this boat

Make sure to contact the eBay fraud center and open up a case. A couple of months ago, I purchase a set of Galoob figures for $20 on the ebay mobile app. After checking on the purchase, I saw the seller was from China and same thing -- they had 0 feedback and a crazy username. I contacted the fraud department and got my money returned.

All different account names with 0 feedback stealing others photos. Report them if you catch anymore. Ya, I bought 2 black card LJN figures that popped up for like 40 bucks each before I realized what was going on. Got my money back, but holy hell was I stoked for a couple of days before I figured out it was fake. How long did you wait to contact eBay and how did you contact them? I basically can’t until that arrival date passes unless there’s another way to do it Report the Seller as fake account/fraudulent listing... They will get banned almost immediately and then you can file your claim right away
