Ya if we ever manage to get another wave of those Target 2 packs I was hoping we would get the Rock N Roll Express in there. Would of been cool.

I wouldn't care if they were basic. I just want them and the Freebirds. I know with the death of elite 2, 3, and 4 packs; options for people like Ricky & Robert as elites are slim.

The Freebirds got into the HOF the year before. The true innovators of walking to the ring with rock music and implementing the Freebird-rule before there was Demolotion or even New Day...and they are not even on Bill's radar.
As disappointing as it is, I don't think RnR, Midnights or the 'Birds will ever be made by Mattel.
For as great as Mattel has been with the WWE license, they really dropped the ball on our classic figures.

80s guys don't sell anymore. Beefcake & Berzerker and sometimes Warlord are everywhere in my area and almost every current roster Elite ends up at a discount store (Big Lots, TJ Maxx etc) It still all comes down to distribution. Exactly! E46 Finn Balor & AJ Styles were 7.99 at tj maxx and network spotlight Balor found for 8.99. Guess demon Balors don’t sell either, huh? Also berserker was a lower tier card guy. Comparing him to Freebirds or RnR is silly! |

There has to be an overpacking problem with that zayn.
Maybe they knew how well his first elite sold, so they mistakenly went all out on this one.
I’m sure we will unfortunately get a Ricky Morton figure someday

Make it an online exclusive if need be. We need the Rock 'n' Roll and the Freebirds for that matter Exactly. Where are the Fabulous Freebirds, the Rock N' Roll Express, and the Midnight Express figures? If they can put out Tito Santana, Tatanka, and Magnum T.A., I really struggle to see how they don't put out those other guys. I mean, you've got a Bushwackers battle pack but not the Freebirds? |

The Rock N Roll shelfwarmers. Thank you for posting this. I get tired of hearing how only the old-timers/flashbacks are shelf-warmers. People always use it as a defense as to why Greg Valentine or Hercules or Billy Graham or Bob Backlund or the RnR Express should not be made, but i always see a number of todays stars just rotting on the shelves. Plus, they don't have to make some of the older guys like the ones I mentioned as wide releases, they can be limited releases or store exclusives like what TRUs has done - i'm fine with that. |

Agreed. Thanks for the positive votes for the past and not all of these "know it all" "I work for Mattel" "Shark figure and niche figures sell" But people who carried the business would not. RIGHT!!!!!
