Gotch? Hackenschmidt? Thesz? Brilliant. If we're complaining about modern figures like Dean Ambrose and golden era figures like Tito Santana clogging up shelves, how would figures like Rogers and George sell? As a wrestling fan I respect these pioneers, but as a wrestling toy consumer I can't argue that there's a desire for these guys.

I’d buy them from a historical standpoint. Buddy Rodgers with the original WWWF title would be really cool. Can we please stop with the 80s wrestlers don’t sell? It’s like an automatic response from some of you. I currently have 8 Asukas at my target and no 80s dudes. It’s a pretty even amount of classics and currents that stick around and or go on clearance. The evidence is there just open your eyes. Agreed. I have stores around me where legends clog the shelves and I have other stores around me where todays superstars clog the shelves. Can't judge the whole line on just the stores in your area.

Most 80's wrestlers don't sell well enough as it is for the kids. No way they make figs their parents may not know either. Agreed, but if they do something like they are doing with the Wendi, Lita, Sasha pack. it might have like a Gorgeous George, Goldust, Tyler Breeze threepack or Buddy Rogers, Ric Flair Buddy Landell three pack That may help sell them a little better, but I would rather the figures come individually. I really want a Buddy Rogers with the first WWWF Title. Also, if they release them in a set, I would rather the one with Buddy Rogers include Ric Flair and Nick Bockwinkel instead of Buddy Landell (but I get why you added him). Also, it would be great if they came with their companies world title, Rogers w/ WWWF title, Flair w/ NWA title, and Bockwinkel w/ AWA title.

Thats the thing i miss. Jakks had the classic superstars line for collectors and made guys that normally would not have been made otherwise

Jakks had the classic superstars line for collectors and made guys that normally would not have been made otherwise JAKKS was a much smaller company and was able to go and sign the guys they wanted to a deal.they were also able to grab adult collectors by making it the first ever. They did have a pretty deep line as far as years covered.

Just not enough to get rid of the entire stock. Legends still sit.

It all depends on who and how they are packed. Magnum TA is a perfect example. We all wanted him, but to even some knowledgeable collectors..they don’t care enough about some of these guys. The big names will always sell, but I’m sure it’s hard for mattel to figure out who will do well and who wont
