I need that X pac. Yeah man, that basic set has been in Canada now for at least 6 months or longer. Wow. This is the first time I've seen them in my area. Thanks buddy

Hey all,
Has anyone one here ordered anything from Ringside? Aside from the shipping, which I noticed is kinda high ($25), are there any other fees I might get charged?! I have read something about a duty fee- how much is this or does it vary and do they always charge this fee?! I am contemplating placing my first order, looking at picking up an ASR ring and the classic cage play set, which I am waiting for them to re-stock.
I contacted Wicked Cool Toys recently and they told me that the play set is not sold by any retailer in Canada nor any of their Authentic scale rings- were these rings ever available here?! I noticed that TRU carries those huge 30" figures that WCT makes yet for some reason they don't sell any of the rings?! I would think that since they sell action figures that selling the rings alongside them would be a no brainer?!
Thanks.

Could be 45 bucks, 60 bucks, etc.

Does anyone know if walk out has import fees? I have an order coming in the mail that hasn't arrived yet. Just curious if I'll get nailed at the door by FedEx

WOW, those are very high fees, what is this fee for and do you know the amount when you place the order?! I have ordered stuff from the USA before but have never paid any duty fee?! I think its time Ringside considers opening a Canadian site- I wonder why they don't?! I think they would do good business here, with the lack of main line elites being sold here plus factor in the exclusive figs they sell and the other wrestling accessories.

Amazon CA had the ASR on sale just a few months ago. Not there anymore. When I bought my ESR from RSC back in 2010, I paid like $20-25 at the door :-\ It doesnt show you the amount when you place the order.

I didn't know Amazon.ca sold these rings- was this the RAW ASR, how much was it?! I am looking at getting the NXT ASR, Ringside has it on sale for $31.99 and the cage play set so that I can convert it to an old school ring. Looks like this is going to cost me over 100 bucks with shipping and the fees. $20-25 is a more reasonable amount but it still sucks that they tack this fee on since we already have to deal with high shipping and the exchange rate. I have been focused on trying to complete my collection and didn't look into buying a ring, now it looks like I am going to have to pay through the nose for one or not get one at all unless they happen to release new product this year?!

What the heck... Since when were those rings $31.99? LOL I paid $120+ for the ESR when it first came out. I think Amazon had the RAW ASR for $130? So I guess it would actually be cheaper for you to get it off RSC.

Got these in the mail through a trade. Really happy with them. I’m hoping Virgil comes back to Toronto soon so he can try to price gouge me when I ask him to sign it. I need that Piper sooooo bad! Can't manage to find it at non gouge prices though...

I got a call from Fedex a day after RSC shipped my package, then literally weeks after I received my figures I got a bill in the mail from FedEx saying I owed $42. Made the entire purchase not worth it at all. It's not really RSC's fault but I won't be ordering from them again. Importing stuff into Canada freaking sucks now.

That's why I don't make big orders from ringside. If your orders stay under 40$ you can avoid duties. I know that's not always ideal but that's what I do. Id rather pay 13$ shipping twice and spread my order out over a few orders and avoid duties! Just a thought.

Are you saying that duties only apply to orders that are for larger amounts?! Interesting, I was thinking of placing one big order due to all these fees but now it looks like its better to split things up and place 2 smaller orders. Does the shipping method make any difference, I noticed RSC gives you options for shipping- Postal service or FedEx. I assume the duties apply regardless of which method you choose?! I am debating whether to go with the RAW ASR ($56.99) OR NXT ASR ($31.99)?! Why is there such a price discrepancy between the two- is it because RAW is a more well known and mainstream brand while NXT is not as popular?!

I believe USPS is a cheaper option than Fed Ex on RSC, but neither will guarantee no duties. For my money it makes no sense to place a big order to save a few bucks on shipping, then get hit wit 40-60$ of duties when it arrives... better to places small orders and pay for shipping each time. If you keep in under 40-5o should be fine. No idea about the ring as I'm not a huge fan of rings sorry lol. Good luck!

SOMETIMES smaller orders don't get charged but its NOT guaranteed. Both ASRs are the same, just based on preference. I think RSC also has post/ringskirt accessories you can buy.

Does anyone know if TRU Canada will be getting the Epic Moments 2-Packs?
I don't have twitter so can someone ask TRU and post any reply here? I saw they've been commenting on WWE figure releases lately.
