I was there last night; it was an amazing experience and maybe one of the best wrestling shows I ever been to.
Aleister Black vs Adam Cole was an awesome car crash match, and there was so many sick spots where I really thought someone might be injured; especially that chair backbreaker.
Best match of the night and maybe the year so far was Jonny Gargano vs Andrade Cien Almas. Alot of false finishes and a ton of excitement. I haven't been to an event where the entire crowd was so into a match from start to finish. I was hoping for a feel good moment with Jonny winning, but him not winning did not bother me at all. Hat's off to both guys!

Gargano vs Almas will surpass anything that happens at both the Rumble and WrestleMania easily. One of the best matches and stories I’ve seen in years.

As I mentioned before, I wish that Johnny would have won last night, but I'm excited to see what they have planned for Ciampa and Gargano at TakeOver New Orleans. I'd be fine with a Last Man Standing or a Cage Match.

EC3 is guaranteed to become NXT Champion and it will only be a matter of time before he dethrones Almas

So, next TakeOver I think...
Black vs Almas for the NXT title Gargano vs Ciampa
seems like a lock. I also wouldn't mind seeing maybe...
The in ring debut of EC3 (Ohno?) Undisputed Era vs Sanity War Machine vs AOP Ricochet vs Velveteen Dream Moon vs Baszler vs Sane for the NXT Women's title

How Kassius Ohno is not on the main roster right now given the amount of time he has been in NXT, it makes me wonder if he will ever get called up?
Aleister Black vs Almas for the NXT Title at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans would be ideal

Excellent show last night, as usual with an NXT special. Seeing War Machine, Ricochet, & EC3 was fantastic. That main event was a 5 star classic, imo.

Ricochet is also a guaranteed lock to become a future NXT Champion. However, but being a babyface right from the off would be inevitable for him, but can he even be a heel?

Undisputed Era vs Sanity War Machine vs AOP Ricochet vs Velveteen Dream Moon vs Baszler vs Sane for the NXT Women's title I wouldn't be surprised to see EC3 's first match be against someone he is already familiar in the ring with like Eric Young. It makes sense to protect major new signees in their first match so that they don't bomb right out of the gate due to no chemistry with their opponent. I wouldn't give War Machine vs AoP away too fast unless the plan is to call one of them up to the main roster soon. If both teams will be in NXT for a while, that is the kind of feud that could use a classic slow burn build.

Kairi Sane vs Ember Moon vs Baszler in a Triple Threat Match for the NXT Women's Championship would be a show stealing match no question.

Now i felt AOP were staying past Mania, i totally agree with you

Nope, Almas vs Aleister will steal the food Who knows but I sure hope Aleister Black does become the next #1 Contender for the NXT Championship and if it doesn't happen then I would go with Adam Cole or EC3 as the next #1 Contender.

So I figured they may pass the NXT torch to the new monster tag team.

AOP getting called up right after Mania with Ellering is bound to happen and I hope it happens. They can then shift them over to the red brand over to RAW.

As much as it would have been one of the greatest NXT moments of all time, Almas deserves a decent reign and Ciampa/Gargano doesn't need the title.

Another incredible event from NXT. Since War Games I haven't had much enthusiasm to catch up on NXT Tv before last night, but last night reminded me just how awesome it is. Cole v Black was a MOTY candidate and then the main event went and topped it, something I didn't ever think I'd say about a match with Almas who hasn't always impressed me.
Very intrigued to see where it goes from here. I was personally hoping that Cole would be next in line for a title shot but looks like Black will get that chance now. Throw in EC3, Ricochet and War Machine and the card for the next Takeover could be one of the best ever.
I would go for:
NXT Title Almas v Alisteir Black v Adam Cole v Roderick Strong
Last Man Standing Johnny Gargano v Thomasso Ciampa
NXT Women's Title Ember Moon v Baszler v Sane
Ricochet v Velveteen Dream
EC3 v Lars Sullivan (they seem keen on this guy)
Tag Titles Undisputed Era v Sanity

Almas has never really been tested as champion and in a Fatal 4 Way Match he goes up against 3 other guys and he doesn't even have to be pinned to lose the title. Personally I think that that is probably the best booked match that you can do. Last Man Standing with Ciampa and Gargano...perfect way to end the feud. NXT Women's Championship Triple Threat could be a show stealer. Ricochet vs Velveteen Dream at least for me is a Dream Match. EC3 vs Lars Sullivan...who will be the babyface in this? I mean both men essentially are heels if you think about it and then there is the fact that if they want EC3 to come out looking strong then perhaps putting him with Sullivan may not be the best. However, the NXT Tag Team Championship program with Undisputed Era (O'Reilly & Fish) taking on Sanity is a perfect program. Just perfect.

I was there last night. For two performers that I care nothing about, they put on one of the best matches I've ever seen.
