So......Friday. One of the biggest co-op games of the year that's not CoD drops, and I, for one, am so hyped that I've bought it twice, for the Xbone and PS4. Anyone else hitting up this bad boy starting Friday?

Never played a Monster Hunter but all of my co-workers are all about this game and have convinced me to pick it up

I've never played a Monster Hunter game before, but I have to say, it's definitely peaked my interest. I won't get it release day, but I can definitely see myself picking it up. I like how they're offering the Aloy armor from Horizon, for the PS4 version.

Well I guess I lied to myself about not getting it day one. After watching youtube videos of it last night I decided to pick it up today. Best part is, I've never used the points I have on my Gamestop rewards, so I was able to get a certificate and get the game for just 10 bucks. Being new to the series, I'm still learning, but I like it so far. Just took down the great Jagras, which made me happy, because I was worried, for my hope with the game, if I couldn't beat the first bigger monster I faced.

I played for the first time in 2 weeks last night. God damn Anjanath still killing me. I can't do it solo. Need help. And now 5 days to get to HR11 for the Aloy armour quests.

Oh my God, I feel your pain on that damn Anjanath. When I was trying to get the Watcher armor for the Palico, and I got to the Anjanath hunt to advance, I thought I was screwed. Could not do it, but thankfully, one of my flares finally got a player to come to my aid, that really knew what he was doing, and was able to help me kill it. I have to get moving too, to get myself up to the level for the Aloy armor, but also have to hope and not lose my mind, since, unless I heard it wrong, the event that unlocks it, is an Anjanath hunt. |
