Eddie was a smaller man than Brock. I think Eddie gave Brock one of his best matches ever. I think Balor could possibly bring out the best in Brock. The only downside, I think of, is Brock is older and has fallen into a routine of not doing much in his matches.
Size should not be a reason that this match doesn't take place.

on paper it sounds great, but if it was another one of brock’s suplex matches like with aj, then i’ll pass.

No they didn't miss the boat. It wouldn't have worked out well for Finn. He's too thin to be a realistic threat to Brock.

Eddie was juiced up big time on steroids when he wrestled Brock though. Go back and watch that match, Eddie was way bigger than Balor. Eddie had the upper body of a bigger guy at that time. Balor looks like he's 160lbs and it doesn't help that he is so short too.

I think they did, but I wouldn’t want Finn Bàlor taking the loss; him beating Lesnar at WrestleMania would be a great David vs Goliath story

I love people scoffing at the idea cause of their sizes, from an industry where (with the right story behind it) you could have Rey Mysterio defeat Big Show. I think it would work since Finn can wrestle and has shown his ability to last a long time in a match.

Potentially, but I think it would have been too obvious. It's clear though that this literally hasn't happened because Vince doesn't want another Daniel Bryan situation by having the fans completely sour on the Roman project in favour of naturally getting behind Finn Balor, which they would. I will state though that despite him having a great gimmick and look, his moveset tends to be pretty dull and his mic skills are poor. Don't get me wrong, he has charisma and knows how to work a camera, but he doesn't appear to have that humour or character that people can relate to. With that being said, he has a lot more going for him than most of the Raw Roster, and it's no coincidence that he's stuck in the upper mid card and has never been handed his Universal Championship Rematch while Roman conquering Lesnar is yet to happen.
Brock Lesnar vs Johnny Gargano would have been the next David vs Goliath / Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar dream conquering scenario that we could have seen, but it's all going on Roman. Finn Balor's best chance would be to go to Smackdown and rival AJ Styles for the WWE Championship and have the Bullet Club gimmick looming overhead. But, they've blown there load and wasted that Match already.

I find it funny that people are saying no because of the size differences yet most of the same people were all behind the idea of Daniel Bryan beating Triple H, Batista and Orton in the same night. And were begging for Daniel Bryan vs Brock. How are either scenarios different?

Why just because of a nickname? Lol that makes no sense.
That’s like people pushing The Demon vs. The Deadman. ‘It writes itself”! No, no it doesn’t

Unfortunately, WWE is too focused on Reigns to provide any quality or logical ideas or entertainment.
