Would disagree. The personally of one Matt Cardona is that there is always an angle. You would not see any one of those Brawlers in the market as his wedding would have just taken place but they WILL land on the secondary market. As already pointed out this guy is all about supply and demand and he is totally seeking to take advantage of someone wishing to complete the MB line. People have been invested in this line for many many years. The fact that he has had it placed in special packaging is a dead giveaway that it’s something he will use to profit from. It’s ok for people to feel that is disgusting behaviour because it is. He will openly and knowingly take advance of the fanbase he will tout “share his passion for collecting” the dude is a carny through and through, and always taking advantage of Major Marks. I don’t doubt some will hit the secondary market, either from Cardona or from some of the others at the wedding (wrestlers are gonna carnie) but I just don’t buy this idea that it was some thought out scheme. Also, even if he did plan to seek them, I don’t get how it’s “disgusting.” Is it “disgusting” that Mattel completists can’t get their hands on the NFL on Fox figures or the Make-A-Wish kid or the 1-of-15 (I believe that’s the number) Warriors? There’s plenty of examples of one off or limited specialty figures that are clearly not officially part of a given line being made, and that’s clearly a category that wedding favors falls into. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to feel bad for someone who won't differentiate that wedding favors aren't a common part of the line that they collect and don't need to acquired to complete said line. Also, I must admit, I also think this is funny given that had there been a run of wedding brawlers sold to the public, people would be on here calling it "disgusting" and saying that they should have just been made as favors and not sold. But personal vendettas are going to personal vendetta I guess. Good examples there Also someone like loyal subjects are notorious for such low print runs it’s near impossible to be a completist

But personal vendettas are going to personal vendetta I guess. These examples simply do not apply. There is a big difference between the production company itself creating a "specialty" or low-run item, versus someone creating their own figure for themselves (granted still made by the production company). Using Mattel as the example just doesn't work here. The only comparison would be Ringside through Mattel since they request and order their own exclusives, but even that situation doesn't compare. Ringside doesn't produce the figures and then pretend that they are not for sale, only to drive up demand and make up an astronomical price. Pro Wrestling Tees can decide to make a low run item (i.e. Kurt Angle limited to I believe 200), and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Sure a low run item makes it hard to be a completionist, but that is part of the game. What Cardona is doing is completely different. He knows that there are people in his own community that want to complete this line, and he purposely made a limited run item and stated that it is "not for sale" to drive up the interest and the prices for himself. He is taking advantage of those people, some of which are supporters of his. That is what I personally find "disgusting." He knows what he is doing. Like I said, I listen to every episode. He brought it up on the last episode and "joked" about how quickly they will end up on eBay. Why would anyone at the wedding sell these? Most people there won't know what these are or care about them. The only people that would know are the people on the inside like Matt, Brian, and Mark so Matt is driving up the interest so they can sell them for a profit. Also, I have no "personal vendetta." I am actually a fan of the podcast and have listed to every episode. I just find his behavior here to be scummy. That is my personal belief. I don't really want to argue this further and ruin this thread. I am a fan of the podcast and of micro brawlers. I just don't like seeing him take advantage of his own fans, supporters, and fellow collectors.

I’m leaving it at this, beyond anything else, one-off figures are not part of a line, and no other example of this has faced nearly the same criticism for reasons that seem pretty blunts to, but I digress as we’ve spent enough time discussing this.
In other news, the Danhausen from Halloween has shipped, earlier than Mortis which is surprising.

This was floating around Facebook yesterday, but just went up on the official social channels now it seems. 2 week preorder is welcome, much better than five days. Also, seems like the chase number is one per every 100 ordered. Has there been a Brawler like that before? I thought chases were always a set #, but I can’t recall if any of the open preorders like this had chases. Honestly, both look great, but I would probably prefer the regular to the chase anyway. http://instagram.com/p/CYmZXUbFS3b

They look cool, but the jacket should be silver, not blue. To the best of my knowledge, he didn't wear a blue and orange jacket.

Looks decent!
Did anyone on here buy / see how much the exclusive wedding brawlers that Matt sold on that app they’re advertising ‘whatnot’ went for? Interested to see how much they went for and if they sold as individual or as a pair

It might have a blueish tinge in the photos, but it's not blue. m.facebook.com/watch/?v=249799693418661I know some don't care about these things, but I'll hope for the chase, although there won't be very many if there's only 1 every 100 orders.

I am very tempted to get the Sting. I'd love to see them do it in a bunch of different color variations like they did with Macho Man last year.

I wonder if Sting might be the person Ryan was talking about when he said they had another color ways approach like Savage coming up?

I'm totally seeing blue too. Either way, I'm super excited. That's definitely one of the defining Sting looks for me as a kid. I'm hoping we get a few more early 90's WCW Brawlers at some point - right now Sting, Pillman, and Vader are the only 3 coming to mind off the top of my head.

It's about time PWT did some more surfer Sting merch. All they have done since he joined AEW is one poorly designed t-shirt, that I regrettably own. I don't own any Micro Brawlers, but I'll be getting this one.
