Vince McMahon announced on ECW On Sci-Fi that a new WWE Champion will be crowned at the No Mercy PPV now that John Cena has been stripped of the WWE Title due to his injury.
Options for the No Mercy match include Randy Orton vs. Triple H, Randy Orton vs. Triple H vs. Umaga, Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy, and Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker.

it should be triple h vs umaga and the winner faces orton since he is the number 1 contender.

Because it's Heel Vs Heel, and that doesn't really appeal to the normal WWE Fan.

Surely it has to be a Returning Superstar to face Orton, because wouldn't they of announced it if it was just going to be two Raw Superstars that are already active. It sounds as if they are saving it for a suprise.
I hope it's not the Undertaker, as I like the sound of this Undertaker and Kane V MVP/Hardy Tag Title Match announced on Smackdown.
Triple H is already in a Match, but Umaga could end up being taken out backstage and have Triple H face Orton instead.
Edge would be the best possible option right now, a Rated RKO Match for the WWE Championship makes sense, and he's set to make his Return soon anyway.
Suppose we could always dream of it being Jericho.
